If there was a way to 'claim' a section of land (like in 7 days where you have claim block) and you've built your base there and only allow the sleeping bag to be placed in an area you have claimed then fine, have a spawn in your base. I would see no problem with that. However, if you were able to place these anywhere it could (and would) be easily abused to respawn at loot areas.
William was the first of the siblings. He came from their mothers first marriage. When his mother divorced his father and soon married husband number two (Allies father) was when he gained a little sister. She took after her father in looks, brown hair, brown eyes and the siblings were close, as any normal brother and sister were. Allison was the typical, annoying little sister that just wanted to be around her older brother, always bugging him on what he was doing..wanting to go hang out with him and his friends. It was a normal childhood. That is until Allie turned the age of 6 and the family found out her father had cancer, too far gone for treatment to save him but it would prolong his life. The family went through 3 long years of pain and heartbreak before the cancer took him from them. This was the first tragedy, of many, in Allies life, and this is what changed the once sweet little girl. This is what started her violent behavior but it was okay, the doctors said it was just a phase and she was just acting out over the loss of her father...boy were they wrong. Everyone thought if they just ignored it...she'd grow out of it but it slowly got worse.
She would snap, throw things, hit her mother and her brother to the point where they needed to restrain her. They did what any concerned family would do, and she was sent to talk to a shrink and put on medication that seemed to help and eventually she started to get better. For the next few years Allie was able to live a somewhat normal childhood. Her and her mothers relationship only got worse though. When she started dating her first boyfriend, who she claimed she was so 'in love' with, was when the fighting started up again. That was around the time her mother started dating soon to be husband number three. Talks of marriage and moving is what drove Allie away from the family. She'd run off, sneak out and do just about anything to spend time with her boyfriend. The two of them too young to get a place of their own yet Allie tried to pressure him into them running off together. He was having none of it. The two of them started fighting daily. With the stress of both her home life and now her boyfriend Allison was at a breaking point. Her boyfriend didn't want to commit to this relationship like she wanted to and the pair eventually broke up. This made her turn to things to feel better, narcotics for instance. After only three months of her mother and this guy dating he convinced her mother to move back home with him to Miroslav to see to his mother who was ill, forcing Allie to leave her friends and life behind.
They spent a few months in Venice until their new grandmother passed away. The death didn't effect Allie as she didn't really know the woman but she attended the funeral until the family had to pack up and leave again, moving this time to Chernogorsk, to see to the rest of his family. There isn't much here to add, as those who were in South Zagoria know the events that took place that lead to how things are today. Just a week into this outbreak her mother and step-father became ill, infected. She was still so confused at that time she didn't know what it all meant until the night they attacked her and her brother. William got the two of them out of the house but the commotion had drawn more of the infected to the area. In a panic, Allie took off in the direction of the woods, thinking her brother would be right behind her...he wasn't. It was dark and after running until her legs collapsed she found herself lost in the thick woods. Once morning came she wandered through the trees for about a day and a half until she finally came to a small house that, to her luck, was abandoned.
This was where Allie rested, ate what food was left in the house and stayed, feeling that out here was safe enough for the time being. The next couple of months she'd venture out only to get what she needed for a few days and slip right back into hiding. She never found her brother or knew what happened to her family..for now she just survived.
Allie is a mixture of a mess, when she is calm and normal, appears to be quite pleasant, nice and sweet along with bring rather stubborn and bullheaded. She is indeed capable of being very logical when she is not overwhelmed by emotions. Though due to the traumatic events of her life and being diagnosed as Bipolar, Schizophrenic , she can be unpredictable, with mood swings that can lead to throwing tantrums, or thinking she's hearing someone that isn't there. These have proved to be some of the lesser problems she created, though, because when she was having one of her mental outbreaks, she may commit dangerous acts and is potentially a threat to everyone, more so herself. Allie can be the most pleasant person you meet. However she is not one to be pushed around and walked all over. She is strong, independent and quick to say what's on her mind no matter how harsh it may be. She isn't one to beat around the bush to spare someones feelings. Though she comes off as strong and independent underneath it all she is very insecure and scared. She feels like she is held down by her mental issues and unable to really connect with anyone for fear of hurting them or vice verse.

Bringing back the loremaster team would help 100%. New characters, groups and new lore would be fresh but I still don’t think going back to day one is going to change anything. People have been comfortable in their two years of walking around without any fear of the infected.
also enforcing the character thing would be hard, near impossible
While this is true, people can change a name, tweak a story alittle bit and still play the same character and the same thing with groups. I played at the start of this last wipe and no one acted as if it was day one. Everyone was walking around casually as they do now. Saying hi on the road, sharing backstories. It became boring within a month from the wipe and it just progressed from there.
We’ve started over from day one two times already and it’s the same roleplay. The same groups come back and the same thing happens. Now a jump into the future would be different, but to wipe to day one again with the same story is just going to be a bad ground hogs day.
@Banshee It is hard and after you spent years with someone you look back and think you wasted so much of your time but you didn't. The way you felt and changed by having her in your life is not all because of her, that was you. We better ourselves for the people we love and even though you may lose them you still grow and should keep going forward, not take steps back. Slipping back into that depressed mindset is going to feel real easy but you need to keep your head up. To the people who say "It gets easier", you know those people that you wanna punch in the face for saying that at the wrong time, are right. You will grow from this and be an even better person and find someone who appreciates you and everything you do for them.
Setting goals for your character isn't a bad idea. Maybe having some faults that you want to work on, for example, having no experience with guns and setting a goal to learn how to shoot one would be fine. It's the planning how your character is going to change that would bug me. It makes the character feel too "pre-planned" and that the person has their mind set on where they want the character to go so they are going to force the RP to go that way.
How can 40-50 people stand around green mountain and be able to hear any conversation? All the talking over one another would give me a head ache, but yeah...something needs to be done with the crashing and if lowering the pop help I say go for it. Can get a second server up if the que gets too high for one server.
