  1. This isn’t a MMO RPG so why are the animals treated like raid bosses anyways? We got a cool enemy. It’s a zombie in a jug suit.
  2. Bruh. Stop saying “don’t run into places they spawn”. Every spawn point is literally in the middle of a forest now that have wolf spawns. I spawned in yesterday and wolves were immediately on top of me. No one wants to have tank wolves and bears. People are fine with them having loads of damage because they should be considered dangerous. Making enemies bullet sponges doesn’t make it a survival game. If you want it to be a survival game then make the game rely on survival mechanics like hunting and fishing. Bears are hunted with .308 because it’s considered a big game cartridge. Do you know how many well placed shots of .308 it takes to take down a CHARGING bear? One. In the off chance it hits a non vital area? Two. Do you know what wolves are commonly hunted with? 5.56. .308 is sometimes considered overkill. It shouldn’t take emptying an entire mag of 7.62 to take down a bear. Or several shots to the head to kill a wolf. I come here for a realistic take on RP and DayZ gameplay. If I wanted bullet sponges I would play unmodded Skyrim or The Division. Its obvious quite a few people hate this change. They’ve been talking about it since before lore wipe. If a lot of people don’t want it, remove it!
  3. I can deal with bullet sponge tank zombies. Animal AI being billet sponges though is stupid and unnecessary. I’m fine with them dealing high damage. Like a bear should be able to kill you in two or three hits. A wolf four to six. Debuff their health though. It’s dumb as fuck.

  5. They did the exact same thing when Russia annexed Ukraine AND Georgia, so I don't know why you would think it makes no sense? Russia continues to expand, US just wags it's finger and says bad Russia. Anyways, I like the new lore approach because it's certainly different then previous lore. At first I will admit though I was disappointed as of right now, it makes little sense to be here if you're no Slavic or somewhere from Eastern Europe and virtually eliminating Western weapons was kind of lame just because I like to use those kinds of guns. But honestly, I think it would be cool if a majority of people would research the culture and play a Slavic character. There's a lot of different nationalities, cultures, and races in Eastern Europe that would be cool to see. Go out of your comfort zone for once, try something new, be a bad guy Russian. If you don't like being targetted because your nationality or whatever.. PLAY A LOCAL?
  6. Server is unstable with 100 slots and it's being refused to link the hives making S1 the only server anyone is gonna bother playing. I wonder if having so many people in que also affects stability? I know when you were forced to spam the copy paste + enter way to get into the server that it caused stability issues according to the devs. Who knows?
  7. A gun belt would be nice. Maybe it could fit and display bullets or shells + have a slot for a sawed off shotgun holster.

When the USSR dissolved, his father became a part of the Federal Security Service, the successor agency to the KGB. Hoping to one day follow in his father's footsteps, he enlisted into the Russian military and was drafted into the military police section. In 2016, he was deployed to Syria as part of an operation to help the Syrian government maintain law and order and to protect Russian military personnel in the region. During his deployment, his platoon was encircled by fighters from the rebel front Tahrir al-Sham. During the firefight he was wounded along two others. Thankfully a group of Syrian and Russian commandos came to their rescue and extracted all the men before they were entirely overrun. Determined to remain in service to his country, he chose to stay in the military despite having been wounded in combat. For the next few years he saw light duty as he was stationed at military bases in peaceful regions. He wouldn't see extensive combat again until tensions began to rise during the third wave of the Frenzied Flu pandemic. Several days before May 10th, he was transferred to the South Zagoria region to reinforce the local Russian forces stationed there, days later the region went into martial law..
  9. Server 2 is absolutely pointless and useless. I have never even seen it reach past ten people. Instead it hovers steadily at around four. Either link the server hives or remove S2 entirely because no one is going to switch over to it. Here's a solution. Lock S2 when S1 isn't full.
  10. Well to clarify on the last statement, while the Blackwater incident did present a bad image to PMCs, they are still heavily used in the ME and in Africa. The incident hasn't really affected the industry. The only thing with the new lore is the fact that with the Russians pretty much in power it makes little to no sense a Western PMC would be in Chernarus. In Russia it's mostly Russian or Slavic PMCs. In Ukraine though, Blackwater (or whatever name they are now) have been operating on behalf of the Ukrainian government. Not sure if they're still there, but under Obama they were and it was kept mostly hush hush.

  12. That magazine looks funky in that AK not gonna lie. A quick google search brings up a 100 round drug magazine made in South Korea. If you were going to do this concept why not just repurpose the drum magazine model?

  14. Would like to see deer isle but definitely not as a Chernarussian territory. If you’re going to introduce a new experience let it actually be new. Keep the Deer Isle lore as set by the map creator.

  16. I was just wondering if it is possible to have items exchanged for something that is of equal value. I bought the shemagh when it first came out and and used it twice but would rather have the one that you can convert into different face masks.
  17. Asked about this awhile back as to why a lot of new things were never added to make the map better. TLDR version was the devs said it tanks performance too much. Even small prefabs apparently caused some pretty big hits. Maybe we can have expansion mod soon and have an overgrown chernarus.
  18. I’m gonna go with a bag fat N O. I remember when I advocated for this. Then one patch was released. Automatic guns were impossible to get, even sub machine guns were difficult to find. It was absolute dog shit. From what I recall the only large group that I can think of that had them was Anarchy. As you can imagine it was pretty terrible when only one group had a steady supply of the only guns that actually work well.
  19. It would be nice if you could toggle the UI. Perhaps while holding the map pressing M would toggle it off and on? Not sure if that would be hard to mod in.

  23. Why are people so hell bent on repeating the same things over and over though when there are viable options available? I don't know the story behind why we can't use Deer Isle, but it's been heavily developed as you can tell from the various videos of which I doubt you took the time to look at even briefly. I suppose I can look forward to another 1,000 days of the same villages copy pasted over a 15x15km space so that's a plus, lol.
  24. With every lore wipe it seems we don't get much in the way of change. The lore itself changes, sometimes with little detail as to provide a more clean slate to do anything you want. Sometimes it's extremely detailed and in some cases that has led to some limited ways of making groups. With every iteration though, it has always been the same central thing which has led to the same groups. Foreigners vs nationalists, bordering countries invading, and the same backstories in essence. People have been open to a change in map as long as it could equal Chernarus. What if there was a way to do that? Deer Isle has gone through some heavy updates. Is it time to try and move away from Chernarus, perhaps this could change up the RP style drastically instead of leading us in the same directions over and over? Perhaps it's too late for this even if it was decided that it would be a good idea (due to the lore wipe coming in three or so weeks.)
