  1. Elias Monrad, a seemingly normal 20 year old still living with his parents at the time of AVM-FLA-19 had his world turned upside down nought but 2 years later as public unrest had reached an all time high in Denmark, his parents had the brilliant idea of getting out of the country for a bit while things calmed down. Just like always the young man had nothing to say in this matter, much to his dismay of course, yet nothing he could do would sway his parents thoughts of escaping. Elias had two elder sisters whom his parents weren't on speaking terms with, point hammered in when they neglected to tell him that they would not be travelling with them to this supposed "Haven" many had heard of, telling him they would meet them at a house they had rented. And so they travelled by car following a familiar route as this was not the first time Elias and his family had been in Norway, that's not to say that Elias liked the place, it was always too cold and the people too "pretentious" for his taste, though the air was always a stark contrast to the people, it was fresh as if you had never actually taken a true breath before, INTOXICATING. when they finally reached Nyheim they wouldn't have much time to enjoy this newfound peace though as the world they knew was about to die... im all alone now! dad went out to gather firewood, it took longer than usual so i went to go check, there was blood everywhere.... oh god... he had gotten mauled by a bear, saw the tracks, i just stood there until i heard my mom yell for me, guess i must have stood there for longer than i thought. i had to cover his body before she got there, i couldn't let her see it.. have you ever had to look at someone so full of life in the eyes only to see the spark crumble, IT CHANGES YOU. Cold still crept into the house we had rented so i had to take over the firewood duties, it was a "normal" day, i go out to grab as much usable wood as i can and im away for at most a few tens of minutes at a time, it didn't matter today though, i heard it, something i had gotten too used to at my time in basic training, a gunshot!! it rang loud and clear in my ears, i dropped the wood and ran as fast as i could while the mind was going 210mph... there she was, lying peacefully on the bed, pistol in hand, same pistol my dad had bought for self protection... i ran and i didn't look back. i wonder, what did i do to deserve this? only thing i can think about is i have to find out if my sisters are still alive, they are all i have left now.
