  2. I, Deimos, agree that while I am playing in the Potius Cras group CP, I waive my right to report anyone for KOS or attempted KOS on me under any circumstances. All kills on my character will be valid so long as my character is in the Potius Cras CP no matter how the character death came about. So long as I am playing a Potius Cras character that is working for / with the organization, or my forum name is on the group CP on the forums, I waive my right to report any KOS or attempted KOS on my character. //Signed, Deimos.
  3. I would absolutely love to see more serious, legitimately organized groups out here. I believe they're out there, we just gotta find em.
  4. I try to keep this in mind as well, but all too often i've seen someone's name get crossed out only to see them back a couple days later. And this seems to be a common occurrence. Since when did the definition of "permanent" change?
  5. 8/10 Would've been 9/10 because the backstory is just the right amount of detail, synopsis, and flavor to make the character seem interesting without giving away anything juicy. The first person perspective adds a cool spin on the delivery of the information which I enjoyed reading. I docked you a point for using Austin Amelio as your reference tho........... But really, pretty cool character.

  7. I'm reminded over and over again not to take this too personally. And by "this" I mean the internet, DayZRP, and just online interactions in general. It's insanely difficult to remember that in the heat of the moment, especially if you wear your emotions on your sleeve like I do. However, it's just about finding that right group for you. It's okay to admit you might not find it any time soon. Just gotta keep searching and not dwell on some internet jerk who's probably not going to remember you in a day anyway - so why waste energy on them?
  8. I mean, if you want authentic military stuff I feel like you'd need to find a group exclusively filled with 20-somethings that have actual military experience. There's a couple peeps like that (and by a couple I mean a lot more than a couple) but you gotta remember what the average gamer is like. Hint: they probably don't have military experience.
  9. Someone's got kuru boys Are you talking about the sway? I haven't noticed any "spasms."
  10. It's weird, and it's probably because of the lag, but I was just cruising around Livonia with an M4 and I was in your exact position and some of them dropped in one shot, but I would say a good 75% of them it took two hits. And I'm not talking like, shoulder hits, neck hits, I'm talking straight in the melon. I dunno, man. Frickin' dayz lmao.
  11. I agree that I'd like to see more hero type characters to offset all the spooky bad guys. Lots of great, well played villains hanging around. Where are all the good guys?
  12. Let's just become a pvp server, brass knuckles only.
  13. Yeah, I wish there was something that could be done about hoarding, because I despise it too. I will keep those rules in mind, thank you. I just sensed some hostility myself and I didn't feel like his input was taking this seriously but I'll do better to interpret it differently.
  14. #dealwithit Aside from the fact that you've contributed no worthwhile input to the discussion aside from "deal with it," you're acting like I'm here making a salt report for offline raiding. I will survive no matter what happens, I'm relatively indifferent but I still have opinions about it. I'm just citing concerns I've heard over and over again and brought them into a discussion, that's all.
  15. Gear isn't the only thing lost in offline raids, I think we all know that. Getting messed up over gear is lame but understandably so some people can't help it. This thread isn't about me specifically, it's about everyone. Please don't derail my thread, man. I know exactly what you mean, but yet again I will reiterate my point regarding this. You can wake up and find all of your stuff missing - at which point your character might just throw their hands up and say "welp guess that's it." But there is no interaction with other players, there's no other roleplay other than telling yourself "I was robbed," or "we were robbed." But people don't often do that. When you get offline raided that means your character has to go around saying "a bunch of people came into our base, stole all of our cars, and looted our armory while we were sleeping." People rarely do that because ICly that's kind of humiliating and it is the result of powergaming. Unless everyone's character is the most sound, heavy sleeper in the world, they would wake up as a result of that commotion to find someone raiding their base. Can't do that when you're offline - and that's the basis of my argument. I'm not asking you to switch to my side, I'm just trying to convey my point to you and am wondering if you understand what I'm talking about.
