  1. Growing up with a parent in the navy was not easy, moving from country to country every few years was difficult. We were originally from Dallas but when my dad got promoted as a submarine technician we went where the work took us. At first It wasn't so bad living in different cultures and being around all sorts of different people was really enlightening but It was hard to make friends and fit in when I knew we could be packing up at any moment. My dads final post was in Chernarus before the outbreak, we spent more time in Chernarus than we had at previous countries. We got a small cabin on the edge of Kamenka. During this time my dad began to lose his sanity he went on rants about how society was doomed and we could only rely on ourselves, He cut me off from the world and taught me how to hunt, forage for food and supplies, shoot and repair weapons. I started to notice he was stockpiling guns, ammunition and food and one day he stopped reporting for his job. One day I asked If I could return to school and he told me there was nothing they could teach me that would help me in this world.. "the real world". We began making ends meet by selling meat and hides from out hunts at the nearby city, people looked at us like we were crazy for living in the woods and cutting ourselves off from society. But from our point of view they were the crazy ones living in a fragile society working 9 to 5 jobs and having to rely on others for basic needs. One day my dad met a man at the market named Jacob and they became friends we would go out on hunts together where they would rant about society, Jacobs son Trevor and I soon started going out on solo hunts when we turned 17 we talked about moving away from this country and starting our own business. One early morning I went out to the woods to track some deer when I heard gunshots from our cabin, I quickly grabbed my rifle and ran towards the house. When I got there my dad was dead and Jacob was standing over him covered in blood, his eyes were lifeless and suddenly he started to run towards me I opened fire not knowing If I hit him or not I grabbed my bag by the door and ran for the woods. I was panicking and in shock of what I just saw I ran for miles until I reached one of our hunting blinds I decided this is where I would wait to see If Trevor made it out of the city alive.. But he never came and this is where I find myself today keeping to myself only leaving my camp to get food or water when I realized If this was to be my life I might as well be dead it was time for me to venture out in search of other survivors and safety.
