Nicholas Murazowicz is a college student from the United States. He came to Chernarus in 2016 during the aftermath of the civil war. Nicholas is a Sociology major and planning on studying the habits of the civilians of Chernarus and how they lived after the civil war. This was his chance to make himself known for something. His study would be a great chance to prove himself worthy at his college. Nicholas came to Chernarus with a small group of classmates who also had interests in the aftermath of the civil war. After spending a little over a year in the worn-torn country of Chernarus tensions started growing high with the neighboring countries and Nicholas and his classmates knew it was time to get out. There was talk of an airborne virus and the whole country was going under a quarantine. Nicholas and his classmate got into a car in order to drive to the nearest airfield to leave the country. They notice how high the military presence became. People were gathered on the streets begging for help and Nicholas and his classmates couldn't help but to assist them. Nicholas and one other classmate stayed behind to assist the civilians crying for help. They stayed with the family for the night calming the children who cried for their father who was taken by soldiers. Gunshots and explosions kept them awake through the night. Talk of people going crazy and attacking other people spread throughout the small town they were in. It was almost dawn when Nicholas heard a car approach the house they were in. He woke his classmate and told her to stay with the family he was going to check what was going on. He opened the door and saw two transport trucks carrying soldiers with masks who were heavily armed. As Nicholas watched the soldiers they were breaking into peoples homes and then the gunshots riddled off. Nicholas knew he had to get the family and his classmate out of the house and to safety. He helped them escape into the family's truck and he waited for the soldiers to clear out of the way before he could make his escape. The soldiers entered the family's home and the gunshots started but there wasn't anyone in there in the house anymore. Nicholas looked across the street and saw a horde of what looked to be civilians. The soldiers started to gun them all down, but they still kept walking towards them. They didn't fear death. Soldiers kept firing and the civilians kept getting closer. Screams filled the streets. Nicholas knew it was time to get out. He started the engine to the truck and floored it into the woods. Glancing back he saw the civilians attacking and mauling the soldiers. Driving through the thick woods Nicholas approached a road which the family directed him to the airfield. While driving Nicholas came upon a roadblock checkpoint. The soldiers ordered them to all get out of the truck. They tore the family out and Nicholas tried resisting was knocked out by a soldier. When he woke there was fire everywhere. He ran around in search of the family and his classmate but couldn't find them anywhere. He stumbled on a soldier who was laying on the ground covered in blood. His body was riddled with bullets and he had a gash in his neck. The soldier told him to run, everyone is dead. Nicholas ran into the next tent to discover the family shot dead. He searched the rest of the checkpoint for his classmate but couldn't find her anywhere. Nicholas knew he was in danger and needed to leave this place, but how. He found a hunting shack in the woods and began to think about his classmate. Where could she have gone? Is she still alive? He made it his goal before he would find a way to leave this dreadful place. Find Sara, Find a way out.
