  1. John, 30, born in Bosnia and Herzegovina and moved to Sydney, Australia when he was very young was top of his class in high school graduating with an OP (Overall Position) of 1. He went from school straight into the Army where he spent four years as an Infantry soldier, completing two tours in Afghanistan. He was commended with the Victoria Cross for bravery and taking two bullets to the shoulder after carrying his best mate Matt out of a firefight. Matt later died due to blood loss. The tragic loss set John on a different path to the Australian Special Forces Division - the 2nd Commando Regiment where his test results were almost in the top 1%. Whilst in training he learnt basic to advanced medical treatment, advanced marksmen tactics, advanced interrogation, etc. He later would go on to do operations such as; Operation Slipper (Afganistan), Operation Perth (Afghanistan) and ending in Operation Okra (Iraq, Syria). John then took a month break to visit his cousin Aleksandar in Novigrad to meet up and hopefully have the chance to see his law firm in Kirovograd. 3 weeks into the visit the outbreak occurred, they have been fighting the outbreak ever since
  2. Daniel is a Russian citizen, born in Australia on 19th of February, 1990. He was working in Moscow, where he spent most of his life. Upon finishing high school, Daniel decided to follow the family tradition and joined the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a police officer in the Moscow District. He served as a police officer until 2009 when he got a chance to join the Russian special purpose mobile unit also known as OMON. During his service he got a reputation between the ranks, he was approved for a officer position within the unit, which he gladly accepted. Sadly during a raid in 2014, he was critically injured in the arm, forcing him to leave the formation. He later that year decided to move to his parents in Severograd, where he would continue his life, where he later found a job as a weapons and tactics instructor for the people of Chernarus, law enforcement and the Chernorussian military. Daniel was visiting some close relatives in Zelenogorsk, when the news of a possible outbreak came out. Daniel, in a rush didn't know what to do, so he started planning out how to get back to his parents, but then the news struck. A CDF officer reported to him that their house was struck by a Russian artillery strike, killing both of them. Daniel, completely outraged and shocked, left on his own, to try and fight his own, the Russians, in anger and disruption that they caused to him and his family. It is still not known where Daniel is or what he is doing, but his family still hopes for the best.
