  1. Alex Greene, 25 years old, a former army war reporter, snuck across the Russian border when the outbreak first hit the news. No information was available, and the public was in the dark. If there was corruption, conflict, or something worse going on he would get there. Alex grew up with a love of photography and a fierce sense of patriotism. As a teen and into high school, all the money he saved was spent on travel, the more exotic and dangerous the better, all to capture the perfect shot. College seemed useless to Alex, stuck in one place for four years. Instead, he joined the US Army, and served as a war photographer, capturing war zones and atrocities around the world. For the last two years, Alex has been freelance, seeking out corruption and government overreach, infiltrating regimes and exposing them not with articles that could be misinterpreted, but with something irrefutable; photographs. When he heard news in early July of armed conflict and bombing in Chernarus, he focused on something else; the strange attacks that had occurred near the bomb site, and the overlooking report on the last page of the hospital that had fallen off the grid. Determined to figure out what was going on, Alex hopped on the first plane to Russia, and entered Chernarus by traversing the Black Mountains. Expecting to find a government abusing its people, Alex was horrified to find something worse than any situation he had encountered during his time at war. This was no longer a quest for truth, it was a battle for survival.
