  1. Welcome to the community! Why I roleplay? Well, it's simple, I use gaming and reading as an escape. Not that I have a bad life or anything of the sort, just that sometimes that little break is a very welcome addition to routine. As a gamer, immersion is top priority, if I can get lost in the game's world then it's done it's job. I chose to roleplay because it's a creative outlet, some people have music, others write or take pictures. Most importantly, well, it's fun!
  2. Congratulations man!!! Can't wait to catch ya around in game! It's actually been a while since I've come across anyone so the more around the better! Recke the best of luck with your application man! Stay Smart. Stay Safe!

  4. Yeah, tested, as mentioned above neither of my accounts are conflicting with each other beyond the main menu. Thanks for the help. Could this be marked as solved?
  5. No no, I want to leave my accounts locked as they are, I was fearing a rule breach. Since the character at the main menu wasn't switching I feared that gear was going to be moved around, I didn't log in in fear of this. But it makes sense now that you mention the whole private hive thing. Should I try and log in? Maybe wait until it's confirmed?
  6. Can't remember if I've already contributed to this thread, so here's another one I guess.
  7. Hello everyone, I have a question I feel I should ask before I attempt anything and lock myself out or something. Back when DayZ SA first launched I really got into the PvP aspect of the game, since my friends and I would be on quite a bit we'd obviously come accustomed to the 'You're Dead' screen. I bought a second account to act as a mule for gear. Now, there are instances when these friends ask me to go and join them for a game to which I've been declining. I understand the rules of one GUID per account so I was thinking of just using this account for my RP fix and my other one to play with my other friends. This is where my problem lies. Back when I used to mule I'd be able to switch accounts and my IG Name would be different on both as well as the gear they were holding, it would defeat the purpose if it didn't. But when I logged in earlier today for the first time in quite a while on my other account I realized that it was my RP Character, same name and gear on the main menu. I didn't log into any servers since I don't want to mess things up or have rule collisions here on the forums. Is this a thing that can be done? Why is it displaying me with the same name and gear on both my accounts? I've searched the FAQs and couldn't find an answer so I'd appreciate any information on this subject. Thank you.
  8. Thanks a lot for taking the time that you have in provided assistance to fellow community members, not once, but twice with both guides. I can already see that you'll be a great addition to the family. Keep it up man! Thanks again! 10/10
  9. There's a few things you could do to push yourself up the queue. Due to the limited staff this sometimes happens so there's a priority system in place. If you show interest in the community it will hasten your application. A solid and thorough Application would've landed you a little closer to the beginning of the queue, if you post and contribute in the Forums you'll also get bumped. You could also make a small donation to help pay server costs and that will also bring you up the queue. All I can do is wish you the best of luck and ask that you be patient, the staff put in their own time to make this a great community. It's totally worth the wait, believe me!

    Awesome vid

This video was very insightful as a VSocial experiment and it was very creative on the youtubers part. Very good.
  11. For the people that say they can't locate the twisty arrow, I had the same issue. I simply went to settings and selected, manually, where my games were installed(I have a couple HDrives in my rig) and then I was able to select the scan button under the games tab. I noticed that what this does is simply lower your video settings ingame to boost performance. It's a good thing to use when trying to get a consistent 60 frames when recording. Thank you for taking the time to write this up and help us out
  12. Hey Van! Welcome to the Community! I wish you the best of luck on your application and hope to meet you ingame someday! Until then enjoy the Forums and have a good time Stay Smart. Stay Safe.
  13. 8/10 Radec, well... He looks like hes seen a few things too many man... kinda creepy.
  14. I love that you mentioned getting "in touch with the individual". When I first started out and was still trying to get a handle on developing my character, someone approached me and a friend to give us advice on our role play. It's really helpful getting constructive criticism like that, for sure. Exactly, most of us actually come here because we'd like to RP, to learn is a part of the process. No one is perfect, and through communication, we'd all be helping each other out. Of course, this only works when you approach someone who's not in it to troll. Sauce, for what it's worth, major respect from me, spoken truthfully and with every bit of good intention.
