  1. Name's Vladislav, Vlad for short. Chernarus local, 2009 Civil War Veteran. At the wake of the infection, I fled to the woods, living in woods, out of sight. I witnessed the military intervention from a thicket in the woods. Bombing operations, checkpoints, the whole 9 yards. It was almost funny seeing them leave just as quickly as they came in. It seems there is some threats the military cant handle. In my travels i heard many talks of people being immune to the infection.. to this curse. I think they maybe the key to ending all of this, to finding a cure. Or maybe it's just ramblings of a madman. I don't know whether I am immune or not, don't want to find out the hard way. After about 3 months of isolation, I thought it was time to head back to civilization, see how far we've come. Besides, eating rabbit everyday was starting to get old. There was barely a civilization to return to, some settlements here and there, some vagabonds with a sense of justice. But the rest is just ruins, like the ones you see about ancient Greece, only it's more familiar.
