Why the verdict is not fair:
There was no metagaming involved: I knew no one involved, and was simply acting as a good Samaritan to the man in the ghillie suit.
Additional statements/comments explaining your point of view:
From my perspective, there were two bandits holding up one guy who was completely unarmed, if I had initiated with verbal contact, they would have simply shot me and continued to rob the man. All I had at my disposal was an Ak-74u and the element of surprise.
What would you like to achieve with this appeal:
Become unbanned, so that I can continue to play the game I enjoy.
What could you have done better?:
Without a doubt, I could have responded quicker. When I was banned a few days ago, I was simply too busy at that point to respond right away.
Also, while I strongly believe I was justified in attacking the bandits who were holding up the guy in the ghillie suit (again, this was from my perspective), I probably could have handled the situation with more finesse.
Concerning the accusations that I had no way of knowing where they were, this is simply untrue. I was at the base of Green Mountain when I saw the helicopter crash they mentioned. There was one of them looting the crash while the other stood on top of a hay pile as a lookout. Immediately I had the feeling that they were not the upstanding citizens that they suggested in their report. After they ran across the field, I ran to the helicopter crash to pick up anything they left, thinking they were far gone. When I turned back to the barn they mentioned, I once again saw one of them standing on a hay pile, this time right next to the barn. At this point I was simply going to run up to them and RP with them (which probably wouldn't have been the best idea), but then I heard them initiating with the ghillie suit guy (I quite clearly heard them telling him repeatedly to drop his weapons and put his hands on his head). Knowing there were two of them, and one of me, and that the Ghillie suit guy was unarmed at this point, I rushed them, as I said in my report.
