  1. Your friend has every right to be skeptical of the game. The devs are kind of a joke and updates are hardly pushed out as often as they should be. A lot of people have well over 1,000 hours in the game and they enjoy pretty much every moment. I'm sitting at around 960 hours and in my personal opinion, roleplay is a big factor in how much I enjoy the game. Yeah, it's fun to occasionally join public servers to kill whoever you want, but RP just adds a lot more to the game. Whether you're trying to enjoy a play (the video below) or you're in a firefight, you're being taken hostage or you're just messing around with one another, it's always fun. You kind of just have to have the right attitude about it if that makes sense. One of the funnest encounters I had was when I was still pretty new to the server. Thanks to @Pepe Jonesfor that.

  9. Before the update I ran at 60 steady frames with the occasional frame drop, lag bubble or crash. From what I've played of the update so far, I have anywhere from 70-80 frames and none of the issues I mentioned previously. Here's hoping it stays that way. c:
  10. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Quotes ; "You have two choices here. Either you swallow your pride & walk away, or you walk up these stairs and die." "No, you be quiet." Just over the age of eighteen, she has pale skin & barely speaks to those who she doesn't know and no one really knows her real name except for a few close friends. At 5'5", she's fairly small and agile, making it easy to stay out of sight & to escape - just how she prefers. For a majority of her life, she grew up in a small town outside of Chicago, Illinois. She & her family were miles away from grocery stores and gas stations and hospitals, which led to her family being rather self-sufficient. This granted her with basic medical knowledge as well as allowing her to know how to grow and hunt her own food. While it’s not incredibly extensive knowledge, it's enough to keep her alive without relying on others too much. Her mother passed away when she was young and she lived alone with her father. During this period of time, her father became a heavy alcoholic and was gone most nights. Quiet didn’t really blame him for coping with his wife’s death in such a way, but it did hurt. He had slept with another woman he met at a bar and in return, he had another son - Miller Winslow. Quiet never met her half-brother until after the outbreak and didn’t know he existed until before she was sent to prison. As she got older and times grew harder in their quaint little town, her dad took on a new job that paid too well to refuse. They moved into the city of Chicago and she was sent to a public school with many other students. She wasn't used to it and was picked on for being so introverted. As a result of she and her father moving into the city, Quiet was unable to do the things she loved which included hunting and exploring the woods. Any friends she had were gone. Her dad worked long hours and would come home wasted or leave in the night & not come home until the early morning. It’s not as though it was anything new. She made a few friends in a bad crowd in school and went to shooting ranges occasionally as a hobby. It helped to take her mind off of things at home. Not only was she just bored, she was longing to get out of this place, to escape, when one day at the shooting range she was approached by a man fairly older than her. He offered her a job that in return she would be paid an abundance of money, more than she could ever imagine having. She agreed, and took another man's life. In the end, there was no money. Each day Quiet grew more and more paranoid as she knew that people were looking for her. It was only a matter of time before there was a knock on the door and she would be thrown into a hole. Every day seemed to get worse. It was as though every police car that passed by her on the street seemed to be coming after her. Quiet decided that the best way to stay ahead of the cops would be simply leaving the country. She decided she would find a third world country to hide in for a while to let her nerves calm down. Over time, her anxiety grew worse. This never truly went away and she lives with it to this day. Maybe that’s what she deserves. Quiet got the first ticket to Chernarus that was available. By the time that she was landing in Chernarus, America had figured out that she had gotten a plane there. They had police ready when she was getting out of the plane. She was sent to a prison off the coast of Chernarus awaiting to be transferred back to America to stand trial. The transfer took awhile for everything to be set into play. The guards and inmates were both equally as terrible and vicious, though she did manage to make a few friends with the other inmates as well as a guard by the name of Xander Meyers. After spending a few months at the prison, she began to hear rumors of sickness in the mainland. Some prisoners would say it's the flu while others said it was the end of time. Personally, the girl never knew what to think. She was scared and overwhelmed with anxiety. It didn't take incredibly long for a few inmates and guards to get sick. They began eating each other alive, ripping each other to shreds. Quiet was stuck, locked away in a cell. There was no way she would get back to America now. She needed to find an escape. ———————————————————————————————————————————— Post-Apocalypse ; Gets taken hostage by Strawberry. Forced into marriage with Strawberry. June 8th, 2017. Mark Sharps shot himself in front of Quiet, his blood & brains splattering across her face. Hurray, more traumatizing events to mentally scar her! June 9th, 2017. Quiet ran into Neil & had a nice talk, but he's a sarcastic asshole. No longer married or something, I think. More to come I guess?
