I'm sharing a bunch of guides I've done, because I think they will be helpful to people, especially incoming newer players.
This specific one, is extremely long. There is no way to shorten it, without losing very, very important information.
I'm really proud of this one, because I've actually had two people PM me (on here and somewhere else I shared it) and in both cases, the people actually knew someone with this disorder. One of them even had their friend read it; who loved it and said it was hands down the best write up they'd ever seen. I'm not saying that to brag. I'm saying it because it shows you that the information, while very long, is extremely important. Also that it has been fully supported by someone who actually has the disorder.
I don't expect it to be followed though. People think of associative disorder as what they see in films, it makes it more 'fun' in a post-apocalyptic 'game'. That's fair. It also is really nice though to see when people do actually learn and adapt their characters. In a way, I think it helps to take away the stigmatization of some mental health issues.
