  1. Yeah I suppose that makes sense, I guess what I was picturing was people no longer blocking doorways that the moredoors mod cant cover since the gates would be removed, but I could totally see people building very ugly things by mixing the more doors and the fences. I really cant see a solution to the issues EXCEPT to remove the ability to remove fences all together tbh.
  2. Would it be possible to remove the ability to make fences into gates? So people have to use the MoreDoors mod to make doors since it looks 100x better and then the fence that people can build atm would only really have a use to like patch up a whole in a wall or fence? This way people cant build these wooden "castles" of airlocks, I also agree that weapons spawn rate should be higher, Simply because I think gear being easier to obtain would create for less looting, more RP, and less people getting salty about being robbed or killed in good situations because the stuff they do lose is easy to replace anyway. Plus less people will most likely hoard all the "high end goodies" if they are pretty easy to obtain anyway. I also agree that you just shouldn't be able to store weapons in containers, There's really no need to anyway EXCEPT for the sole purpose of hoarding them, However the only time I see there being an issue with NO storage for guns is for traders.

  4. Have to disagree with the safe zone, but if im correct I remember Roland mentioning something about adding traders further down the Lore. (In the second quarter I believe but that could be wrong)
  5. +1 from me, I dont see why not. Livonia is dead at all times, Deer isle is smaller and has been updated a bit. Plus everyone seems to enjoy the map. It would be refreshing to see Deer Isle back again.

I see what youre saying, It is kind of weird for a single hatchet to go through metal door, But I believe for the sake of balancing it is as best as it can be for the moment at least, A possible solution (which idk if this is possible, it might be with the new DayZ update 1.08 but idk if this will apply to the "more doors" mod itself) but make it to where the hatchet will break before it gets through, however the doors health will be reduced. In order to make it take a little more for to get through the tougher doors. But like I said I don't know if its something that could be done easily. Ill still vote yes because I don't think looking into it is a bad idea.
  8. I do like having to deal with the different weather when it comes. However if it is broken at the moment and is raining to much or causing issues for other people then im all for staff adjusting it until its fixed.
  9. I made the mistake of putting a 4 digit code lock on my shed, is there anyway I could remove it in order to put a pad lock on it if I find one or is that shed just stuck like that?

    NEW RULE?

    Isnt this pretty much already a rule? The rule 4.4 states : Hostile situations must focus on the role play experience of both attackers and victims. Both sides should actively participate and contribute to role play in all situations, any disputes or issues can be discussed and resolved afterwards. As an attacker you may NOT: Attack other players just for the sake of gear by doing a quick robbery that involves little to no role play. Ignore your victims. You must provide an engaging role play to keep things interesting for the victims at all times. As a victim you may NOT: Pretend to be fearless, emotionless, not feel pain, or otherwise be unaffected by the situation where your life is at risk in a hostile situation. Be passive during the hostile role play and refuse to actively participate in it. Just sitting there and not contributing to role play can make the situation very boring for the attackers. Correct me if i'm wrong, but wouldn't failed fearRP already violate this rule?
  11. The vehicles bring back a lot of arma 2 vibes, I CAN DRIVE A TRACTOR AGAIN WITH THIS. Its a yes for me (if it ever gets to the point DayZRP would be allowed to use it and it was adjusted properly)

So one thing i've noticed is the nights are well pretty much a slightly darker day time, I really miss the immersion of having to use a flashlight and be careful at night because it was actually really dark at night. It also gave it a more "horror" type of feel which I miss. I know some people may like the brighter nights so my solution to that would be, why not a mix of both? (if its possible) maybe make it to where some nights are darker and some are the brighter nights that we have now. I feel like it would add to being more realistic and would give a use to items like Flashlights, Glow sticks, NVG's and other items that help you see in the night.
