  1. Hamish MacDonald AKA Mac, is Canadian through and through. He grew up in a middle class family in the suburbs, but always had an affinity for the great outdoors coupled with a desire to explore the world; a wanderlust of sorts. He was always out hunting or participating in some sort of sporting event. By the time he was 16 he was working hard as a brick-layer making money doing cash jobs. Mac enjoyed his profession and it was quite profitable, yet he felt a burning desire for something more. It was at the age of 21 that he decided to enlist in the Canadian military. He knew the Canadian armed forces were actively operating throughout the world, mostly on aid missions in war-torn countries. This struck a cord with him and he decided to venture off to the nearest enlistment facility. Soon enough he was trudging through basic training and doing it with flying colors. It wasn't long before a few COs caught wind of his physical prowess and began interviewing him. After an extensive psychological evaluation, Hamish was deemed a fit recruit for the highly secretive and rarely talked about, Joint Task Force Two or JTF2 for short. He began his training shortly there-after and it wasn't long before he realized he was no longer operating as a normal soldier. Not that he felt superior to them, but these men were surely more capable. He fit right in, the men accepted him quickly and his physical and mental abilities seemed normal among them. Hamish was well on his way to endless possibilities within this secretive branch of the Canadian military. Hamish was sent on numerous missions over the course of five years. He rose through the ranks and eventually led his own squad. Men he knew and men he trusted. After countless operations around the world , Hamish was finally tasked with a mission in a place called Chernauras. He had never heard of it but also rarely questioned the location of their next OP. He was tasked with infiltrating ground zero of an unknown outbreak in the area. Hamish knew that he had to imbed himself within the local populace and establish him-self there. He is trained well and knows he has plenty of assets to call upon for a task such as this. Those who knew of the operation could barely keep eye-contact with Hamish a week before his departure. He wondered why but made nothing of it "Could be paranoia" he thought. There were many sleepless nights leading up to the OP, but that didn't stop him from going about his business. As he sat in the helicopter that would take him to the LZ he thought about his 18 year old self and all the adventures he wanted to partake in. There had been no shortage of such endeavors and this time would be no different.

Enforcer; a fitting title for a man such as my self. I will continue to send fear in to the hearts of our enemies and will be the first one out there when bullets start flying overhead. Fear not comrades, Dimitri is with you through all trials and tribulations. Stand strong and our enemies shall falter. -Rez
  3. My POV is as follows: Jerry, Challenger and myself had just finished dealing with two captives and set them free no more than a minute or two prior to Zanaan appearing behind us with an AR in his hands. We immediately surrounded him and began light dialogue. Within 30 seconds we had decided to rob him and I initiated, saying what is heard in the video that Challenger posted. I had my gun raised as well as my affiliates and he decided to raise his rifle and shoot at me. I reciprocated and he was KIA.
  4. The VoiP system is terrible. Totally ruined any possible RP in this scenario.

I had the drop on them... Yet, I decided to make friends. This has turned out to be a phenomenal decision. These men are well trained and capable of advanced discourse. I am enjoying their company immensely and being with them brings some semblance of peace to my rugged lifestyle. DISTRICT has given me a chance and they haven't asked for a damn thing in return. God's speed to them and those they care about. -Rez

  7. Dimtri is a Spetsnaz operative tasked with assessing the situation in Chernarus . He is sent in as squad leader and finds himself lost after parachuting in and being blown far away from his comrades. He is seeking to find his men and simultaneously gather as much intel as possible. He will infiltrate whichever group he deems necessary to advance his goals. Although Dimitri generally avoids conflict, should he need something, he is not shy of simply taking it; either with persuasion or force. He is man of indomitable will and when he has a goal, anything that stands in the way is bound to find a swift end.

One day, he had simply had enough of all the tireless work and decided to pack his things and depart from the western world. He had little money and even less of an idea where to go. He had watched a documentary on division in the French military known as the French Foreign Legion. He decided that's where he'd start his new life. Throughout his service, Brandon became renowned for his hand-to-hand combat and was known to be quite the marksman. Toward the end of his service, after he had soared though the ranks, he was assigned to a top tier mission. There had been some sort of crisis in a place called Chernaurus. He was assigned his usually team.It was supposed to be cool, calm ,and calculated. They had reviewed the plans for weeks. Nothing could go wrong, but on November 15th he realized how mistaken he really was.

As he grew older his urge to feel at place in the world grew stronger. No group or "team" could satisfy his need. He had tried everything from sports to martial arts and excelled at all of them. But they didn't quite scratch his itch. He was laying in bed one day when he realized one of the very few things he hadn't tried was the military. He wanted to get in to the action. So he joined the French foreign legion. Any race,no previous know how necessary, just the ability to take orders and fall under one flag. He excelled and quickly worked his way to the top. This got him a transfer in to one of the most secretive branches of military ever devised. He was placed in to the Tier one program. Soon enough, he led his own squad and was sent on his first mission. It was supposed to be a quick mission. No fatalities,no shots fired, just reconnaissance. As they arrived at their destination it became boldly clear to them that what they were surveying wasn't in the norm. Day after day, they took notes on various military out posts and sites as they began to realize there was some sort of epidemic going on they began realizing less and less contact was being made with them. Soon enough, it was radio silence. No comms no back up. Only them and their ability to fight.
  11. Link to report : http://www.dayzrp.com/t-rp-server-1-killed-when-being-robbed-without-reason-at-nea Why the verdict is not fair : I had give an explicit order that was not followed which I find is a valid reason to engage. Additional statements/comments explaining your PoV (in details) :I had initially asked for a drink in which he denied me.My fellow men and I then proceeded to rob him. First thing I said was drop your weapons and don't face me, you have ten seconds to comply. He began dropping his primary weapon and at no point did I see him turn away from me. I said again, look away from me immediately or my men and I will open fire. He then proceeded to pull out his secondary after dropping his primary and pointed it directly at me. I gave about a three second interval in which I had once again said don't face me and then the three seconds were given. I then proceeded to fire off one shot at his center mass that ended up killing him. Once again as I previously stated that killing him was not my intention but to incapacitate was. What would you like to achieve with this appeal :I would like my 3 day ban to be removed and for my warning points to be removed so I can continue playing knowing I'm not 33% away from a perma ban on a server that I have contributed the amount of an average steam game to. What could you have done better? I don't believe there is any thing I could have done better. I gave him ample time to comply to my orders to one of which he did not. This one order that he did not follow I feel would've put my characters life in jeopardy because he had a loaded gun pointed at me even though I had given an order that would've diminished the threat of the gun being pointed at me. As a side note. The only reason I didn't delve in to this much detail in the formal report was because I was under the impression that if it's word vs word (to which I have two other men who can testify against him) then it would be discarded. I was unfortunately wrong and am now stuck with a three day ban.
  12. AHAHAAHAH when they shot me after I was walking away they missed like 30 times. Also we won so I don't get this about you guys "winning"
  13. Well my ban is over, so I'll edit the title accordingly.
  14. My apologies, I just can't get enough of this server and these three days are killing me. It's honestly probably going to get denied but I know I at least tried. Once again I'm sorry.
  15. So I've made the assumption that this is just being avoided at this point. Don't know why but sure.
