That's the thing that I'm pointing out in this response, good sir. You aren't understanding what an initiation is, not have you in the past. I bring up past situations because literally every other situation you've been in has been you misunderstanding what an initiation is and how to use KoS rights. In Kattica's verdict she states that the DEMANDS must be clear and have unambiguous hostile intent, at no point were weapons pointed and at no point did Ramen order you to do something in a hostile manner. I hate to say it sir, but there was no initiation and even if there was, you'd probably go down for NVFL because "my PvP skill can carry me" has never been a very good case to defend yourself with. I will cease posting unless requested by staff and I would advise you do the same before digging another hole. The demands were clear. "stop running" while chasing after me with a gun equipped. I can't feel or know what you're thinking. I defended myself. Also, that quote is taken out of context. I stated the situation/location and then also included my thought process behind it.

There is no need to be sarcastic or disappointed. Before I speak, I know it's just going to turn into a back and forth fight. With that in mind, before you let admins handle things, might as well give my opinion. You can't run and have your gun raised at the same time, what I saw was several people running at me with guns while yelling commands. I had the cover advantage and I had the possibility of winning due to the cover I had. Had I known there was a gap in the wall, I would have probably surrendered. Unfortunately for the both of us, I didn't know. Therefore, I had the advantage, which I took, because I trusted in my gunskill and experience in PvP that I could take out the group. Only one person had a line of sight on me when I shot you and that was you. Because of this, your group wasn't directly, within a line of sight, surrounding me. I wasn't being held at gunpoint. You/your group member made an initiation command and I answered first. That was all that occurred. You were caught out of cover, if anything, you didn't value your life chasing after someone alone on the one side of the wall. There was no treeline for another 300-600m, therefore, that wasn't an option. It was either surrender, or use my cover advantage to quickly take out 1-2 people, increasing my odd exponentially. With that said, if we were in an open area and 5 people surrounded me then yes, I would concede. This was not the case. Also, was it your group who took me and my friend hostage previously? I believe so, but correct me if I am wrong. No, it wasn't our group. As for running with your weapon raised, I'm just going to leave a little video I've brought together so that you can educate yourself accordingly. [align=left]In accompaniment with the video, the requests made were just that. It was a basic request that you "stop running" so that we can RP with you properly, not demands, nor hostile. As for a seeming history in this sort of behavior, not understanding initiations/KoS rights, that is. [align=left]I'm just going to leave this post history here and express your obvious unwillingness to learn when you're allowed to kill somebody. In fact, in your most recent posts that aren't with this thread, a report that you made, you received a very good explanation on KoS rights by Kattica. [align=left]As well as before this report that you made, you were involved in a report that resulted in a guilty verdict on your part. This report can relate to the claim that you thought we had robbed you earlier. [align=left]In this report, Echo gives you an explanation as to how you ought to go about the very situation you claim to be in. I apologize now if I come off as rude, but doesn't this get redundant? Do you read your verdicts? There is no need to be rude. If you read Kattica's report you'd see that "put your gun away" is a hostile action/command. I don't wish to stoop to your level of indecency but "stop running" is not a request, it is a command. You commanded me to stop, I refused, you chased after me with weapons and people, I felt threatened. That was your mistake in the end. Also, by ordering a command to me, you waived your right to safety when you initiated. Additionally, I find it shameful that you would attempt to bring past cases, which I must add, most of them were resolved about a year ago, into this case. Stick to the current situation, and don't attempt to wrongfully accuse me of the inability to learn. Perhaps you should learn some respect. I haven't disrespected you, but you have behaved like a child. I have tried my best not to insult or dehumanize you, but you have made it difficult with your disrespect.

All right there Rambo, let me give the timestamp for you. At 15 seconds Ramen kindly asks you to stop running, if you consider this to be a menacing tone I have nothing to say other than that I'm kind of disappointed. He spoke in a more begging tone, if any. By no means is this an initiation. You say you saw people with weapons out around him, yet never state that any were raised. You say that trying to run was a tactical decision, yet you turned around back into town instead of going for a treeline. I will allow staff to decide, but even if we had initiated you showed, in my eyes, an extreme lacking of value for your own life by staying to try and fight "5 well geared guys". There is no need to be sarcastic or disappointed. Before I speak, I know it's just going to turn into a back and forth fight. With that in mind, before you let admins handle things, might as well give my opinion. Even if we had initiated on you, and you claim to have seen several people surrounding you, why would you not comply to the demands you claim to have heard? I felt like I had the advantage and could escape the situation, I noticed that only you were on my side of the wall, and that's why I tried to create discomfort among the group by killing one of its members quickly. It was a strategic tactic which not only failed, but has led me to this case. In no way was it a bad tactic, I just didn't execute it properly. Also, it's not something I am claiming, it's something that could probably be heard on the first video, although, perhaps not due to the VOIP distance.
  5. S1/KoS/Kabanino/19:20/ (7/12/16)

I was running South towards Kabanino, I see a group of about 5 guys, all had guns and were fully geared out. All were wearing red/orange arm bands which corresponded with the recent hostage-taking group that restrained me. Everything matched up. I believe to have been in KOS rights with the group. On top of all that, they chased me down, I saw all of them surrounding me. The "main" guy, the only person whom I heard speak told me to "stop running". His/her group had guns drawn and I felt threatened by his menace-sounding command. I ran behind a wall and opened fire as I believed to be in the right, I felt severely threatened and was initiated upon. I then proceeded to attempt to run away, but there was a gap in the wall, I saw another group member hug the wall and had a gun pointed at me, he had another man behind him and a bit further away another person, all of them aiming at me. I peeked the wall to suppress his friend behind him and to the right and I spot the man on wall. I then proceed to trade kills with him. That is what the first video shows. The second video shows the positions after they entered the compound. Lastly, I believe that the POV provided by the original poster doesn't give full detail of the situation as it only skims the surface of what occurred.
  6. As I am new, I'm not sure if the right word was "initiate", but is telling him to put his gun down, with no malignant intention, initiation? If so, in a realistic scenario would you blindly walk toward someone giving you commands? Most likely not. Do not act in a way that indicates no value for your characters survival. Do not ignore attempts to role-play. Instead, Your character must behave realistically and appropriately to the different situations you participate in.
  7. How did he have KOS rights on me? How does his character not fear for his life at all? I got the jump on him. Like I said, he moved toward a person telling him to put down his gun. I didn't tell him to put his hands up or anything, I wasn't attempting to rob him, I just didn't want to get shot at. If you have no clue where a person is, why would you not listen? In a realistic scenario, you would.
  8. He failed to roleplay any fear AT ALL, he didn't know I was there, he didn't know how many people were nearby, he simply ignored everything I said, and shot me, he ran toward an unknown person that may or may not be armed. To me, this is unrealistic, and gave me no chance of ever surviving, if I would've shot him I would've been in the wrong, he didn't roleplay at all.
  9. Server and location: S3 US, Zelenogorsk Approximate time and date of the incident (SERVER TIME): 22-06-2016, 19:15 Your in game name: Hunter Rzhevsky Names of allies involved: None Name of suspect/s: Unknown Friendly/Enemy vehicles involved (if any): None Additional evidence? (video/screenshot): None unfortunately Detailed description of the events: I was in the small military compound in the city of Zeleno, I hear some shots, I head over to the edge of compound to see if I can see the person shooting, I spot him, he seems to have a high caliber rifle and full gear. At this point, I don't know what he is shooting at but I know it's not me because he was aiming toward a far away field, I initiate on him from about 20m, he seems to fail to answer me and instead says "what?, what?" as he runs up to the wall, keep in mind, I am screaming at the top of my lungs to "put your gun away", he then comes to my side of the wall as I peek over with my gun out, and sprays me down.

You had a rifle out, were aiming at the wall that I was behind, unknowingly that I was there of course. And then went behind the trash cans or dumpsters that were there and then that's when I took aim and shot you.

Now you're just plain out lying my friend. You were healing a wounded person but right after you got done with him, you pulled out your gun and said "Be careful he could still be out here" maybe not those exact words but along those lines, I was watching you for a good 30 seconds before I killed you.

Here BostonDonut clearly states that they were sent on a search for me. When BostonDonut says "we" he refers to himself and the people that were there, which includes Neeko. Also, may I add that I never said "Let's fucking kill her". And I never pointed to gun at all, at anyone other than Neeko when I took aim to kill him. He was directly involved with my search, if he had seen me, he would have instantly shot me. That's all I have to say.

I wasnt apart of any group that initiated sorry buddy Im not even in a group. You were talking about how I could still be out there, etc and also I remember seeing you on the other side of the wall when I was being told to put my hands up.
  15. S2-KOS and Mis ID Prison Island and Combat Logging

I indeed shot Neeko, but he was part of the group that told to me to put my hands up and then proceeded to shoot at me. I didn't combat log, I was on the side of an edge and got glitched in trees and was killed, that's why I logged off. I was never killed by anyone nor did I shoot/kill anyone but Neeko.
