Single Status Update
Oh hi der! Still surprised anyone is actually reading this. I'm stealing Bunny's idea for having a "blog" as the status updates. Deal with it. The question remains though, who actually gives a damn about little old me?
So it's finals week SoonTM, which is quite lame. I decided it would be a fabulous idea to take all political science classes this semester. Turns out, this is probably the worst time to be into politics. I think I'm still vomiting from all the cringe and hate involved in this last election. I've been teetering on that fine line of sanity vs going coo coo for coco puffs working on large semester wide projects. Thank god it's finally almost over! For those that don't know, I've been hiding away from the universe writing large research and argumentative papers about the relationship between Singapore and Israel + a paper about Proxy war and the Syrian Civil War. Needless to say, I think I'll be having an adverse reaction to anything involving Israel, Singapore, and Syria for a long time to come.
It was a hell of a long journey that's for sure, but this hell still isn't completely over. Once my finals are done, I get the living hell of a bus ride out east.
This is life right now
For Christmas, I'm getting the hell away from this hell hole I call home, and spending time with my mother out in Delaware. Delaware? You might ask. Yes, Delaware, one of the states that everyone forgets, and honestly could fall into the Atlantic ocean and no one would miss. It's a fun place though. During some times during the year, the large farm fields are covered in white. No it's not snow, but snow geese that blanket the fields.
Thats a lot of food!
Normally I fly, but the last time I went out to visit I was stranded in Delaware for an extra two weeks. Then on the way back when I finally got a flight back to Chicago O'hare, I couldn't get a flight back to where I live. So I got on a plane with 5 other people, got delayed two hours, and then finally took off for Green Bay. Needless to say, no more flying during the winter months.
average winter day in da UP
It won't be long till I'll be trading the land of the north for Delaware permanently. I'm very close to graduating from uni, and thats when I'll say goodbye to this hellish existence. I will say there is going to be a few things I'll miss about this place though. For instance, one of the best feelings in the world is standing in the great lake of Superior, drinking a beer or beverage of some kind and taking in the seemingly endless expanse.
Sir Patrick, you're fired.
Goodbye shitty semester. I won't be missing you!
