We from Redwood Radio thought it was a good idea to finish off the old lore in a good way. This is why we made this newspaper, so that people can look back on some old lore before jumping in the new one. We hope you liked it! Big thanks to @Gandidoor for making the design Thanks to @DrMax for the interview and grammar help and thanks to all the Redwood Radio personal that helped to get this done!

Hello there DayzRP community! Its been a long wait we know, but we are happy to announce that the DayzRP lore wipe is officially here for the beginning of the month! With this new lore we will be doing a lot of different things here on the server so please take your time to figure out your characters, your objectives and how you want to play in this new world. Let me give you a TLDR of what is going to come. In this lore we will not be following the Bohemian lore from now on. DayzRP will have its own lore seperate from the official ARMA verse Lore. Anything found outside of DAYZRP is no longer canon here on the server. But do not worry, we have plenty of information on what the worlds of Livonia and Chernarus are built upon. For those that want the basics, and a basic understanding of our lore with ease to read, we recommend that you read the following: Timeline This is the official DayzRP timeline for the lore here. This is here to provide bite size stories/events that have evolved in the servers to the modern day. Here will show what the world was like and what the world will be in the future. We will continuesly update this thread with news/stories and events that happen in both Chernarus and Livonia. We hope you can fully document the events that happen ig from now to come. Livonian Whitelist Lore & Chernarus Whitelist Lore : These are the lore pages required to minimally read here to play in DayzRP. Use these along with the timeline as a simple guide to understand "What" the universe we have built for you and also "how" the outbreak come to be. They are simplified for ease but hope they are an enjoyable read. However for you lore junkies we have something a bit more special for you. History of Chernarus & History of Livonia : This is something that has been requested quiet a bit by the community for a while so we have managed to finally get it sorted. This is a general book for making Chernarussian/Russian/Livionian characters with what the countries are, factions, politics, culture and general history of these countries. While it is optional for players to read this, we highly recommend it for those that wish to play national characters as it serves as a great foundation for all you "national" characters in the lore. For those that have questions we will be linking the following Guide with FAQ regarding characters and the process staff and the community should follow regarding characters. Map edits: Throughout the server thanks to the incredible help of the Dev team and volunteers we have been able to create a different chernarus with faction skins, bases locations to try and give a different feel within chernarus. We are hoping that these server changes will continue as the seasons and stories evolve, however the world that we all now play is fairly different to that we have played before. Factions: As you have been able to see, we have created with the help of members of the community 3 different factions to start off the lore with. Each group has been notified on what needs to be done, how things will work and hopefully give you all an enjoyable time here in DayzRP. The factions at the start are going to be the Russian Federation, Republican Army of Chernarus and the Chernarus Liberation Front . Each with their own agenda and stories for this server. Now regarding foreign characters, we have made a small optional Tourism guide for those that might struggle to find their way in the lands of Chernarus, now the Republic of Chernarus inside the Russian Federation. With that all said, and with that all done..We the Loremasters and the DayzRP staff team are happy to introduce you to DayzRP Season one Dying Dayz

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (Vooruzhonnije Síly Rossíyskoj Federátsii) (Вооружённые Си́лы Росси́йской Федера́ции) _____________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________ Upon the integration of the Chernarussian Socialist Republic into the Russian Federation in 2018, the newly found oblast was taken under the 150th Rifle Division of the Russian Ground Forces. The oblast of Chernarus, under Russian control, sent enough soldiers to the military installations to have a rather full garrison of the installations in the area. With the potential unrest, and known recent history of the region led the Russian military to send three separate battalions in the previous country of Chernarus, the 320th Motor Rifle Battalion being stationed in the immediate area of previous South Zagoria due to the higher chance of unrest in the province. The region of South Zagoria specifically was under the protection of the newly founded 320th Motor Rifle Battalion. A battalion of approximately 840 active military personnel and another 480 reserve personnel assigned to defend the military installations of the region. Each military installation in the region was assigned by a company that fell under the battalion, having been roughly 80 upwards of 120 men depending on the size and capacity of the installation. The newly founded Battalion were given a handful of veterans of prior occupied territories, as well as a majority of any Chernarussian nationals now serving in the military in hopes of deterring any national uprisings against the troops in the region. The top brass were very stuck on the idea of not wanting a repeat of the 2009 conflict. The local militants, as well as the Russian Ground Forces in the area, were occupied during the quarantine of the third wave of the infection, prior to the viral mutation that led to the zombification of those infected were in charge of handling checkpoints throughout the region. The country, as most in the world at the time, was under full lockdown. No one was allowed to enter or leave the oblast - and the military was in charge of making sure that happened. _____________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________ By May 10th martial law was instituted, shutting down and forcefully removing and relocating citizens to government mandated evacuation and relocation camps set up around and near major areas of population. The use of lethal force was also authorized which was liberally applied to those deemed a risk to the public's safety, those who presented symptoms and those who posed a threat to the authority and sanctity of the armed forces. On the 31st of May, the 320th Battalion, under command of battalion commander Major Arkadiy Fyodorov Ignatev, was given a distressed call to arms. An all-hands order was given, initially being told that all active and reserve personnel to report to their assigned garrison. The order quickly changed after the news of these bases being overrun by the infected got to the Major, in which Novodmitrovsk has deemed the new rally point for all units in the area. A mix of unrest, confusion, and hysteria caused by the new outbreak of an unknown infection led to many soldiers to either die or go AWOL and defy orders to protect their loved ones. The order got out; those remaining in the battalion were to fortify the city centre of Novodmitrovsk and await further orders. Taking what supply they had at the closest establishment, they did what they could to contain the outbreak in the centre. The survivors were mustered and assigned to their positions within the quarantine zone. They were establishing a safe haven for the survivors of the region to seek shelter. Prior to the rage mutation of the virus, the region - as well as most regions of the Russian Federation received an excess of viral test kits. They were not allowing anyone into the quarantine if there was any doubt of them being infected with the new virus. They awaited further command from the Kremlin and up the chain of command. Waiting day by day in hope of news of relief or vaccines; but neither was ever received. Days went by, and the hopes and morale of the troops declined every day that passed. _____________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________ Major Goals: Establish control and maintain Novodmitrovsk Quarantine Zone. - [Completed] Contain Quarantine Zone 7 and provide refuge for civilians. - [On Going] Keep track of key civilians directed to the Quarantine Zone 7.[Day 50] Provide aid to civilians and establish the Quarantine Zone 7 as a ‘safe-zone’ for non-combatants. Chernarus Liberation Front (Chernorusskaya Osvobozhdeniya Front) (Černoruská Osvobozenecká Fronta) After the civil war was lost to the ChDKZ the Russians took more control of Chernarus and it’s assets. The ChDKZ leader Gregori Lopotev was instated as head of the nation. A new army was formed, the Republic Army of Chernarus, and the country was renamed the Chernarussian Socialist Republic. Amidst the extinction of the CDF and the NAPA in 2010 a single division of NAPA decided that they would go rogue, and set up a new and separate unit for themselves before it was too late. The main men behind this all came from nationalistic backgrounds and were very xenophobic by nature. This group of people were led by trauma surgeon Dr. Dimitri Stepanov, political activist Marek Svoboda, military officers Zeroislav Xizovich, Felix Rubensic, famous vodka-brewer Stas Boyko and cardiac surgeon Dr. James “Sumo” Maseksky. The order of appearance not relevant. In the beginning of 2011 the land began to slowly stabilize and the Russians gained more control. The CDF was no longer the governing military force in the country, and was replaced by the Republic Army of Chernarus. Russian menace spread its influence further to a point they claimed to be natives and rightful owners of our beloved motherland. Our Chernarussian brothers and sisters were oppressed in their own country. The nightmare everyone fought to stop dawned upon us. Faced with a seemingly impossible task, we decided it was better to die standing rather than to live on knees. It was time to re-organise and act. We decided to take a name for ourselves. Something to gather people like us under a common banner and vision. The choice landed on Chernarus Liberation Front. Over the next few years we expanded our ranks, grew in the shadows. We distributed flyers named “The Front” throughout the country to native Chernarussians, proclaiming “Chernarus for Chernarussians” and showed the real face of oppressive soviet presence. The people were not to be brainwashed by the former Soviet state. In 2015 we had expanded massively, and were already well on our way with the training of our new members. We focused on guerrilla warfare, stealth operations and gathering intel. The main source of income was drug trafficking and production, as well as other missions given by the locals who managed to get in touch with the Liberation Front. The flyers were still shared in the country, but now it had clear messages about who it came from. They were signed from the Chernarus Liberation Front. They also contained cryptic messages about certain locations in the country. These locations were used to scout potential new recruits. The last flyer was sent during the summer of 2015: “For all remaining forces in South Zagoria. Take heed and listen… Before the Russians and the traitor Lopotev came to our country, we fought for this land and took part in guerrilla campaigns against all aggressors festering here. Fighting foreign involvement at all sides. We do not accept nor condone any foreign power trying to establish itself in our beloved Chernarus. Our actions reflected those of the people’s hearts and we did what we believed to be required of us in ensuring their survival and rebirth in the years to come. As an organized combatant group our main goal was to fight any foreigners and their groups posing any threat toward Chernarussian ideals and inhabitants, and those who try to spread their alien influence over our cherished country. With our previous experience fighting the combined might of foreign arms we excelled in close quarters, hit and run tactics and scouting skirmishes. Our soldiers are the pulse, beating to the rhythm of liberation, which has kept this nation's hopes and dreams alive. The time has come to push the foreign scourge out of our motherland. We are the people of Chernarus and their fist!” In the end of 2015 we made a plan. We wanted to start ridding Chernarus of the russian sympathisers and supporters. The first step on the way was to overthrow Lopotev and take back what once was ours. On January 18th 2016 the plan was set in motion. On this day Lopotev was supposed to leave the country for a diplomatic meeting in Russia. The informants, within puppet government, sympathising with the Liberation Front delivered this secret well ahead of time. Even though Lopotev was heavily guarded, as our previous raids struck fear for his safety, an attempt was made to prepare ambush at the main and secondary path of travel. The informant within the government was a man named Mirco. Even though he was a native Chernarussian, he acquired a position as Lopotev’s secretary and was working there for four years. One of many of his tasks included being present at meetings to take notes... After Mirco delivered the information to us about Lopotev’s travelling route towards Russia, his leak was discovered by one of his colleagues. The leak was reported to Lopotev himself. This had a fatal outcome for Mirco and his family. He was publicly shamed and proclaimed a traitor to the state working with terrorist group. His family was imprisoned on false charges, while Mirco was publicly hanged in the main square of Novigrad. We heard the news of Mirco’s passing, and were adamant on continuing our mission. The mission was named “Remember Mirco”. On the 18th of January, Lopotev and his guards took an undocumented, alternate route through Zelenogorsk due to Mirco’s leak. Our forces were stretched thin and couldn’t react on time. Not all was lost though, Zelenogorsk apart from being a town, served as a train hub for military cargo. As such, we maintained surveillance on this strategic area. This day was no different, a lone, currently still active, soldier was on watch duty that day, just like any other day, as he really loved trains. The Svobodnik would receive a message on the radio from Major Stepanov. “Svobodnik [REDACTED], Lopotev is coming your way. He will pass through Zelenogorsk. Your new priority, take him down, if you get a chance. For Chernarus!” [REDACTED] listened and started scouting for the diplomatic vehicles. He spotted an armoured caravan approaching Zelenogorsk from the south. He frowned, his SVD was not enough to make a dent in a heavily plated Mercedes. He reported back to the Major. “They are using bullet proof vehicles, Major.” “He mustn't leave the area. Do what is necessary, we are on our way.” The vehicles entered the gas station just outside the northern premise of Zelenogorsk. The convoy stopped at the gas station, as the bodyguard sitting in the back with Lopotev had to use the restroom. [REDACTED] saw his chance and started aiming, but he was too slow. The door was opened and shut before he could react. He waited further. The bodyguard returned, and [REDACTED] had his aim ready at the location he last saw Lopotev’s head. As the bodyguard opened the door an explosion of dark blood spread all over the interior of the car followed by a loud bang from the 7.62 caliber rifle. The bullet entered the left side of Lopotev’s head, killing him instantly. The Svobodnik whispered: “Remember Mirco” After the events, we were immediately put into worldwide spotlight as terrorist organisation by the puppet government and the Russian Federation. Our plan, our mission directly led to Russian invasion. Irony… we heavily contributed to the doom of our once proud nation. After a few skirmishes, we were forced to go into hiding for well over a year. In the shadows, our hearts bleed as we observed the Russian Federation march into the country and putting their new puppet, Ivan Bernarus, as the spearhead of the nation. During the period we were hiding, we observed and took notes. We documented the movements of all Russian military troops we could find. But there were no attacks from our side. The last attack was a complete disaster resulting in many losses. After one and a half year of occupation from the Russian forces within Chernarus a Referendum was held. The choice was whether to join the Russian Federation, or not. The result of the “vote” was unanimously yes. This hit us hard, but we had to come up with a new plan. A grand plan. The plans were finalized in late 2018, and was a two year plan to overthrow the new government by promoting and reinstating a true Chernarussian leader, and to throw out the Russian Federation. To accomplish this we started a two year long recruitment process, along with hardcore guerilla training of personnel, as well as restarting the flyer distribution. The Liberation Front also went on smaller guerilla missions, continued surveillance and taking notes of important Russian figures in the country. In late 2018 Zeroislav Xizovich, Stas Boyko, Felix Rubensic and Dr. James “Sumo” Maseksky was leading a mission to take out a Russian outpost near the border north of Novaya Petrovka. The goal was to eliminate guards and destroy significant military cache. The mission was a miserable failure. The guards at the outpost were well aware and prepared for the incoming attack. Majority of the Liberation Front attack squad was killed. Xizovich, Rubensic, Boyko and Maseksky were arrested and sent to Moscow to serve a life sentence filled with torture aimed at breaking their spirits to reveal the names and locations of all the operators within the Liberation Front. The four of them has never been heard from since or shown signs of life. The Liberation Front had lost four of its leaders, along with 28 good soldiers that day. We were devastated by the loss, and the group decided to pull back into hiding for the unforeseeable future. In 2019 there were early signs of an outbreak coming. The flu that was controlled in the fall of 2018 seemed to come back stronger than ever before, seemingly in a mutated form. This outbreak was much stronger than ever before, and spread rapidly. The Liberation Front decided to continue laying low as the people of Chernarus were vaccinated with a new vaccine developed for the virus. None of us received this vaccine. The group had almost disassembled for the time being, only the highest ranking officers kept in touch with each other. In early 2020 the outbreak calmed a bit, and the Liberation Front came back together to start working again. We continued the same work as we had previously done and the plan to rid the land of the Russians were still in full effect. Due to the outbreak causing people to be more cautious and less outgoing, we had an opportunity to work more publicly without being exposed. This enabled us to gather even more intel and greater details than ever before. When the infection picked up even further, and quarantine zones were set up, our focus had to change. The battle against the Russian scum had become more of a second priority, as the safety of ourselves and the loyal people in Chernarus became of greater importance. In the spring of 2020 the outbreak was fatal. The country, society and everything fell in the crumbs to the deadly and contagious infection. The Front was in shock and awe at what happened, but attempted to stay focused on the already existing plans for the time being. As the infection spread we lost our main sources of income - drug production and trafficking and other less notable activities. In time we aspired to look to explore new paths of trade to re-establish ourselves. The dream was to, once again, to create commerce and let the citizens live their lives without the fear of the infected or bandit menaces, or to be subjugated by foreigners. With our income source dwindling we had a new challenge to face. If we were to fulfill our plan to overthrow the Russian government in our own country, we would have to act quickly. The government and their armies were focusing on creating quarantine zones, securing areas from the infected and transporting potentially infected civilians. The infection and the chaos opened a new door of opportunity for our cause. While the Russians were overwhelmed with the infection at hand, we managed to seize strategic military and logistic assets. The enemy was in disarray which made killing them an easier task. Each raid put a new dent in an already crumbling Russian presence. Each skirmish put more word about The Liberation Front and our cause swelling our ranks. With the infection as an ally, Russians were finally brought to their knees. This is where we stand now. We are the Chernarus Liberation Front, and we are going to make sure that Chernarus will rise to its former glory, no matter the cost. ---------------------------------------------- Rid Chernarus of the foreign invaders and reinstate a patriotic government [Ongoing] Sabotage Russian missions and assets [Ongoing] Sabotage RAC missions and assets [Ongoing] Spread rumours about the RAC and RF to the common people [Ongoing] Continue spreading news flyers across the country [Ongoing] Create improvised hideouts in South Zagoria as meeting spots for operatives and native Chernarussians [Day 20] Reach out to 50 Chernarussian survivors and establish relations and means of occasional communication [Day 30] Train 25 Chernarussian survivors in the arts of survival and hunting [Day 30] Scout South Zagoria for alien militarized presence [Day 50] Find worthy foreigners that are willing to prove themselves for Chernarus and fight for it's rightful place [Day 60] Arrange lectures and lessons for foreigners willing to learn the Chernarussian culture and ways of living [Day 70] Dogpig Olympics [Day 100] OOC Goals: Assist in developing and furthering the server lore Provide realistic, enjoyable and meaningful hostile interactions/roleplay Introduce players not familiar with nationalistic roleplay to how it works Reinvent nationalistic roleplay and take it back to the roots Include non-members in our roleplaying sessions (such as training and similar activities) ---------------------------------------------- Major (Major) Major Dr. Dimitrí Stepánov - @Hofer Major Marek Svoboda - @Goz Kapitán (Captain) Kapitán Joseph Masenik - @Stagsview Poručík (Lieutenant) Poručík Aleksei Smirnow - @Bryan Praporčík (Warrant Officer) Praporčík Viktor Petrov - @Jackfish Rotný (Master Sergeant) Rotný Stepan Kubicek - @Para Rotný Ondrej Zima - @Elmo Četař (Sergeant) Četař Ignaty Bondarev - @Murray Četař Kamil Novak - @Kordruga Desátnik (Corporal) Desátnik Victor Cernik - @Taurz Desátník Jasna Lanik - @Ron Desátník Radomir Reznik - @Burak Desátník Damek Novaki - @SynO Svobodník (Private First Class) Svobodník Oskar Polanský - @Conor Svobodník Karel Procházka - @DerrickStorm Svobodník Draholsav Kucaj - @Benry Svobodník Pavel Černý - @PaulB Svobodník Mirek Bruzek - @Dino Svobodník Gazsi Kaczmarek - @Finn Svobodník Scout Stepánov - @Brayces Svobodnik Bogdan Zdravenko - @Goz Svobodník Anya Petrasek - @Conor Svobodník Krystof Beznak - @McSheepface Svobodník Lucina Liska - @RileyChan Svobodník Kenny Kowalski - @burRP Vojín (Private) Vojín Vit Prokov @SaltySully Vojín Radzig Kobyla @Nonplayer Vojín Pyotr Jewiski - @Jewell Vojín Roland the Pigeon - @Roland ---------------------------------------------- Application: All applications should be sent to @Hofer. Republic Army of Chernarus [RAC] Respublika Armiya Chernorusskaya [RAC] Республика Армия Чернорусская [РАЧ] Respublika Armiya Chernorusskaya 34th Infantry Battalion "Bear Company" The Respublika Armiya Chernorusskaya was brought into life by the late Gregori Akula Lopotev, in ca 24/11/2012. (Read: twenty-four November two-thousand twelve) as the tool of his vision of a brighter Chernarus after the Civil War. The Respublika, or the RAC as it was later to be referred to, featured several insurgent and Lopotev loyalists members of the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star, shortened Chedaki which made for a very effective staff company. Their war-like bravery and courage was quickly transferred to the new conscripts and their heroic deeds were quickly shared among the ranks, all believed in Lopotev and he gave them a road to walk on. The RAC was born and quickly thrived on it’s conscription. Heroes, that's what it felt like for several members of the 34th, they had the privilege to be among those that were to cleanse and restore Chernarus, stationed in South Zagoria and eager to prove their worth to Lopotev. Their main objective in the years to come was to stop the spread of propaganda from the followers of the old ways.Terrorist Ideologies such as NAPA and insurgents from the former Chernarussian Defense Force (CDF) were no longer tolerated as they were proven to be extremely harmful to Chernarus. Lopotev made sure of that, and many of the 34th took part in the reorganization of the state to strengthen the Lopotev Regime as they legally searched and arrested many Chernarussian citizens and homes that were believed or had ties to harboring CDF or NAPA terrorists. Whom in secret preached and planned the demise of Lopotev, several of those who were caught pleaded insanity and as a result were sent on trial and where either deported for being national traitors/ sent to prisons in the south Zagorian region and IF they provided further details and swore in helping in the contribution to the new state, where considered to take part in a reformation program under the gaze under the Party. Chernarus under the leadership of Lopotev flourished like it had during the great industrialization. Things were finally looking up. But to all good things come an end as the terrorist threat grew and misinformation was spread of the men rose.. Rumors from the Chernarussian underworld made their ways to the civilization and one day were acted on as Lopotev was met with an untimely death. The shooter remains unidentified until this day.. A new dawn With the death of Lopotev a new Civil War threatened to rise as the population of Chernarus once again attempted to regain it’s old regime. The civilians began to riot, general stores ran out of supplies due to the sheer panic and were looted several times over the short span of a few weeks. The 34th were overwhelmed and only managed to stay afloat due to their Russian brothers in arms. After the riots were dealt with a new Pro-Russian loyalist by the name of Ivan Bernarus was raised to power. The 34th had eagerly awaited the replacement of their beloved leader and were quickly met with the referendum to make Chernarus part of the Russian Federation. Things moved quick, and new goals were set. Hearts and minds of the Chernarussian population were their top priority while remaining to rain down harshly on the insurgents that attempted to return Chernarus to how it was pre the civil war.. However, things would forever change for the RAC in mere months as the Russian Influence had made the 34th more and more obsolete, during their time under Bernarus they were deployed less and less as he began to favor other battalions of the Russian Federation, rather than the Respublika. Despite the 34th being unfavored by the Russian Federation they quickly managed to deploy to various field hospitals with the great risk that came along with the Frenzied Flu. The virus had proven deadly but that was the end of it during that time. As the virus raged through the country, the quarantine rules were heavily increased, having the reservists of the 34th being deployed alongside law enforcement to regulate curfews and quarantine zones then several of the lower enlisted fell victim to the disease, while the losses remained minimal then the situation began to look more grim by the day, a general lack of communication from the government ensured harsher rules being put in place in a time span much short than anyone would’ve liked, riots and fights broke out and by the time Martial Law had been put in place and the entire country was put in detainment camps or worse it then it was up to the members of the RAC to deal with the victims of this aggressive virus, be it by lethal force or containment. Minor Goals: Day 10 - Establish a foothold on the western region of South Zagoria. Day 15 - Establish our relations with the RF and where we stand with them. Day 20 - Have the word spread out about the RAC and all the perks that comes with supporting us. Day 30 - Have at least 40-50 signed up citizens. Day 40 - Several loyal RAC loyalists having been recruited. Day 50 - Have identified several operatives of the CLF and have established plans on how to take them out. Day 150 - Destruction of CLF. Day 200 - Reclamation day Always - Fight the resistance movements and make sure they do not bring back their old ways. Always - Maintain order and peace within our territories. Always - Continue being well coordinated and squash any infighting within the RAC. Major Goals: Establish control and maintain the RAC Forward Operating Base - [On Going] Direct 50/50 Survivors to Vybor/Local Evacuation Camp location for safety/aid - [Day 30] Secure disarming zone around Vybor Military and Vybor Evac Camp - [Day 5] Perform routine patrols around the disarming zone - [On Going] Locate and aid civilians by any means (30/30) - [Day 30] Secure and Investigate Military Camps from civilians/other military groups - [Day 15] Investigate local groups and movements, report back to Leadership - [On Going] Assure the populace that RAC has the situation under control - [On Going] Investigate other Factions and determine their true motives - [On Going] Deal with anti-government groups through force as they present - [On Going] Provide a military force that isn’t focused on the average person in terms of hostility. What is the Lore? The lore is the official timeline of events and characters that have evolved in this world. The DayzRP world is based upon real life however with it’s own spins and takes on events that have transpired. The lore in itself is there to help you, the players, build your characters around the environment of DayzRP. It is a way to ensure people do not have conflicting characters, ideas or understandings within the server while also providing a creative foundation to build your stories. However this does also mean that all players, new and old, are required to read and follow the lore. This to ensure such as the following example do not happen: We do not want to have John Doe going around pretending to be from the Lands of Rothnear and another person going around claiming he is from The United Socialist States of America that was formed in the year 1934 when the USSR declared war against America. All players and characters are required to adhere to the official lore. The game Dayz has for a long time been part of the Armaverse and for a long time we have respected the Armaverse Lore. However in this current version of the lore we shall NOT be following the Armaverse Lore. Things will be altered, details will be conflicting and left to our own expression. So anything that is found from outside sources away from Dayz about Chernarus/Livonia or any future possible maps that are added to our servers will NOT be canon information. All information for the Lore will be found as official Posts by the Loremaster team or underneath the Lore tab on the website. With that all said, we do hope you enjoy roleplaying here in DayzRP and if you have any questions, feel free to contact a Loremaster and they will gladly help you. To the East of Black Sea and to the north ends of the Green Sea lies South Zagoria, one of the three regions of the Republic of Chernarus, a land home to a tumultuous history ripe with bloodshed, war, and political strife and now a recently reintegrated Federal Subject of Russia. The capital of the region is centered around Novigrad and has a population (at its peak) of 3.9 Million, making it home to a majority of Russians and Chernarussians. Within Chernarus, the official languages are Chernarussian and Russian. To the north of Chernarus over the Black Mountains lies mainland Russia, and to the west of Chernarus are the desert-like lands of Takistan. Both nations have had their part in the construction of Chernarus' history throughout its development.. The Green Sea lines it’s East Coast, allowing port access and trade to flow into the country. Chernarus is the newest member of the Russian Federation however prior to that it was an Independent Post-Soviet Republic, in early September of 2009 tensions between the newly formed Chernarussian Republic and the Ethnic Russian Separatist group known as the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star, often simply titled ChDKZ or phonetically known as Chedaki, saw a resurgence in violent activity. While the Chedaki had always had a presence in Chernarus, especially after the fall of the Soviet Union, it wasn’t until the catalyst of the apprehension of their commander Gregori Lopotev who pushed a violent uprising against the Chernarussian government turning into what is known historically as Chernarussian Civil war between both of the ethnic groups with the intent to forming a Pro-Russian Socialist Soviet Government under the Russian Sphere of Influence. While short (1st of September 2009 - 13th of January 2010) the war was a violent and bloody one, with both ends committing horrible crimes against humanity which gained international media attention and foreign intervention both from NATO and Russian forces. The war itself was seemingly thought to escalate further until NATO forces backed out and Russia fully committed to protecting their fellow ethic brothers, ending in a clear victory for the ChDKZ which helped to lay the foundations of the Chernarussian Socialist Republic (CRS). With the civil war now won and with the arrests of Military leaders and Politicians underway, the dissolvement of the Government took place with the Support of the Russian Federation Gregori Lopotev who was instated as the new President of the Newly formed CSR. Organizations such as NAPA were internationally recognized as terror organizations due to factors such as the Moscow bombing which resulted in their leaders arrest major disarmament and imprisonment. The Chernarussian Defence Force (CDF) also had many of their leaders arrested resulting in the disbandment of the army and the installation of the new army (Armed Forces of the Republic of Chernarus (AFRC) under the former ChDKZ commanders Loyal to Lopotev. Over the next few years, the regime under Lopotev implemented drastic changes in the country and its structure. Changes that not everyone was happy with. While Lopotev proved to be a strong leader he made many enemies due to his radical choices. Rumors of underground organizations with the goal to bring Lopotev to fall began to surface. Eventually it seemed as though they succeeded, with Lopotev assassination on the 18th of January 2016 by a young nationalist within the ranks of the Chernarus Liberation Front (CLF). With Lopotevs death, a new leader for the country was initiated on 27. April 2016 - pro-Russian loyalist Ivan Bernarus. Keeping some of the changes implemented by Lopotev and continuing to work close with Russia, the country underwent further development. Eventually the path was cleared for a Referendum to take place - with the aim to have Chernarus be integrated fully into the Russian Federation. In October 2018, the official documents were signed by Putin and Bernarus, finally making Chernarus part of the Russian Federation. If you wish to learn more about the country that is Chernarus. Please feel free to read The “History of Chernarus” To learn more about the canon information on the country. This is not a requirement for the whitelist, however is highly recommended if you wish to play Chernarussian/Russian Characters here in DayzRP as it goes into far greater detail about the lore of this world. To help you understand the perspective of the lore and the world in Chernarus. Here are some videos from the perspective of the Russian Media and the CSR from 2009 to the first signs of the new outbreak: These videos would not have been able without the help of Pijka. His help on the videos is greatly thanked by the staff team. In January 2020 the familiar Caedesviridae infection, also locally known as Frenzied Flu, experienced a rapid resurgence. Putting a strain on healthcare and hospitals countrywide. Many elderly, immunocompromised and youth fell victim to the devastating mortality rate of the infection. To try and counter it’s rapid spread, emergency pop up and field hospitals were deployed by the government in high populated areas to help and deal with the influx of those affected. The Government of Chernarus detailed that her and her people were fully aware of the rapid onset of the situation and despite the tumultuous events, but despite it all everything was tightly under control. Life continued on as normal as possible - even releasing those that do not need intensive care back into the populace to help bolster the economy and defense. Three weeks after the initial outbreak, in February, the infection started a rapid spread throughout the region. The situation deteriorated rapidly. More extensive measurements were taken involving the closure of many stores, non-vital, or nonessential jobs and labor were placed on hold. Quarantine was initiated alongside a heavy police presence to ensure the populace followed government mandates. As time passed, military detachments were dispatched to various towns and cities, making sure to enforce curfews and regulations. By March 4th, 2020 armed military roadblocks were quickly set up to restrict access and monitor those who were attempting to leave or enter quarantine zones. All travel countrywide ceased, except for some European foreigners, many travelers were not permitted to depart from the country in fear of spreading the infection or misinformation regarding Chernarus’ control on the situation. However it would not take long before the borders closed down completely, leaving many foreigners stranded in the region. The refusal to allow individuals to leave, and the overwhelming stress on the populace both native and foreign cited an increased sense of restlessness and unease. A general lack of communication from the government, the forced armed lock-downs, roadblocks and quarantines alongside the lack of appropriate access to aid and information regarding the state of the region and its people culminated into a fear led rise in tension between many different factions within the country both domestic and foreign. By the end of April 2020, rumors flooded in from throughout the cities and towns - detailing cases in which prior released infected individuals deemed well enough to be sent home had become increasingly violent, even attacking fellow citizens without provocation. Riots and small scale disputes broke out throughout the entire region and as the public started to revolt against the government and military forces set in place. By May10th martial law was instituted, shutting down and forcefully removing and relocating citizens to government mandated evacuation and relocation camps set up around and near major areas of population. The use of lethal force was also authorized which was liberally applied to those deemed a risk to the public's safety, those who presented symptoms and those who posed a threat to the authority and sanctity of the armed forces. Harsher restrictions on border crossing were also monitored and individuals attempting to leave were detained and sent to the various camps by force or dealt with accordingly on site. As of May 31st the major evacuation and relocation camps set up around the major cities started to feel the pressure of having to handle so many individuals and started to become abandoned, the people seeking assistance and respite elsewhere despite the risk to themselves and others. Government forces still remain in the region, attempting to assert some semblance of control over the deteriorating situation. The world as we knew it has changed, a new era of human life has started to emerge from the rubble of the past. How it will change in the future depends on mankind's desire and sheer will to survive.

All good things must come to an end, and so does Redwood Radio aswell. It all started with me and @Basko back in May 2019. We had the best idea to start a radio group where we would play live music over the ingame radio. Along the way we picked up a lot of other players and received a lot of good roleplay. Ready to get music to the people of Chernarus we started small, only doing 1 hour sessions on the ingame radio. Eventually we attracted some more people and started to do Podcasts aswell Over the year we have been active on the server we met a lot of different people. For a short time we could actually keep up with the ingame music, but everything changed around October 2019. Radio's were getting bugged and we had to change our way of bringing music to the people. Ending the ingame radio was a sad time, but we had our new way of sharing the ingame experience. Doing Podcasts every week, having interviews with ingame characters and playing some music aswell. We used this to also reach a bigger audience. People that could not get ingame could enjoy them aswell. Others did not have to relog or not use their radio's anymore. Over this year we had a real good time. Doing this again sometime? I would like to thank all the people that have been part of Redwood Radio over the year. This includes the following: @Basko, @Billy, @Uhka, @Conkick, @Oryx, @Gandidoor, @Edwardou, @Venob0ss, @scarecrowb24, @Winter Lianne, @Pepper, @Ostara, @Groto, @DerrickStorm, @andysuter, @Burak, @Knight, @Daisy, @Tewudin, @SynO, @DrCrazyGamer, @Mr Smoking Dog, @Bastage, @Comrade Politruk, @DookieCS and @Mikey These are all the people that kept Redwood Radio going over the last year. I would also like to thank the people that have roleplayed with us and interacted with us. For you all I have made a special Rewind video: o7 to everyone and see you next lore!

Hello Gamers! I know that Livonia is hated by many and loved by some. I personally like it and having had my first RP experiences with this community on Livonia I have a bit of an attachment to this map. So I decided to give a reason for the sudden abandonment of Livonia with this video. you can hear a radio message broadcasted from seemingly far away, the signal keeps cutting out and you hear lots of static noise, finally Cpt. Krieger's deep and robotic voice pushes through the static "Livon... tzzkk.. been overrun! RETREAT! ..tzzzkk... Safe yourselves ...tzzkk... RUN!" the transmission cuts out again and the voice has completely stopped, once again, silence returns...

Imperialists and oppressors say they protect freedom, but instead belittle our homeland and its citizens and deny our freedom to choose our own path. Such is Western hypocrisy. Be ruthless, for Rodina and the bright ideals of our cause! - Mikola Bardak Chernarus (Чернарусь), officially known as the Republic of Chernarus (part of the Russian Federation), it lies east of Takistan, the border close to the Svetlaya river, the Green Sea to the south and east and fellow Russian Oblasts to the north. The former border of the Chernarussian Socialist Republic to Russia in the north is located along the black mountains. The Republic of Chernarus has a diverse landscape that ranges from the mountainous and rocky coastlines of the South Zagoria region covered by temperate forests, to the semi-arid and dry conditions in the west. It has a size of 5450 km² and an estimated population of 3.700.000. Most of the biggest cities, like Chernogorsk, Primorsk, Miroslavl and the capital Lopotevgrad are located at the coastline. Here is a map representation of were Chernarus is located: The current flag of the Republic of Chernarus was first used by the Chernarussian Socialist Republic under Lopotev. It’s design takes influence from the former Chedaki flag. The green is a symbol for hope towards a better future. Black represents the determination during the Civil War and the defeat of the enemies of the Chernarussian Socialist Republic, while red honors the sacrifices that were made, the heroism of those fighting for the greater good and revolutionary patriotism. The star within the crest stands for the communist Ideology. Chernarus was first settled by the Scyth people in the 5th century B.C. The tribes settled along the Burnaya and Svetlaya river, as the fertile land surrounding the water sources offered them the perfect foundations. The Scyth people remained in the region for a few centuries, until the first slavic tribes arrived, which absorbed and assimilated the remainders of the Scyth tribes in the region during the early medieval age. The Slavic tribes settling in the region consisted of western as well as eastern Slavic settlers. It is assumed that the western slavs arrived in the region before the eastern Slavic tribes, who eventually moved into the region during their practiced “slash and burn” agriculture, that had them moving on from their previous settlements every few years in search of more fertile land. Both tribes ended up making a more permanent home for themselves along the Burnaya and Svetlaya river. During the 9th century, christian beliefs started to spread and be adapted by the Slavic people. As orthodoxy beliefs spread, the foundations for the first Chernarussian nation were laid. The western Slavic tribes started to push to unify the tribes. One man in particular Hynek Jireček managed to unite the people behind him, leading to the name Cherna Rus being mentioned the first time in 1192. It is not quite clear where the name derived from exactly, but it’s suspected part of the name sake were the Black Mountains close to the river region. Following the unification of the tribes, the newfounded Principality of Cherna Rus was ruled over by dukes, Jirečeks family/bloodline, in the 11th century. Traditionally it was bound to Russia due to raiders that posed a danger to them from the south-west, but they very much still governed themselves. During the same period, the young nation also got into various smaller conflicts with their neighbours to the west, the country later known as Takistan, over the fertile land along the Svetlaya river. It only furthered the unification of the Chernarussian people against a common thread though. After willingly joining the Tsardom of Russia in 1783, Cherna Rus started to prosper. Novigrad became the capital of the region and many coastal towns started to flourish, as they opened up trade routes across the Green Sea. The first few attempts of urbanisation and industrialisation also bore their fruit during that period of time. People were moving from the countryside into major cities along the coast and rivers, helping them expand even more. Among the cities at the coastline, Belozersk in the north of the region started to flourish as well as it was the main trade hub towards the mainland and across the black mountains. The shared culture of the west and east Slavic tribes that formerly settled in the region, as well as their shared efforts in their fights against their western neighbours led to them forming a strong bond between the people. Despite that, even though they were now ruled by the Russian tsar, the people known as “Chernarussians” wanted to keep their own language and script. While some groups were adapting and welcoming the change, mainly ethnic Russians, but also a few ethnic Chernarussians, especially in regions like South-Zagoria and regions close to the black mountains and around Belozersk, as they were under a heavier influence of the tsardom, there were also groups openly opposing the changes and the fact that Cherna Rus joined the Tsardom of Russia in the first place. Even though this caused some slight annoyance and smaller conflicts between the people in the region, these conflicts never escalated into something violent. In general the different ethnic groups still coexisted in peace and due to the economic boost the region went through under the Tsardom and the general advantages it brought along, most people's anger about the tsar approving and pushing towards a change of script and language, was quelled. The Chernarussian people were doing fine for about the next 130 years, coexisting peacefully with the Russian population until the first turmoils in Europe started 1914. Once Russia entered the war, the region was affected greatly and an era of trade and wealth came to an abrupt end. As the Ottoman empire conducted raids in the Black and Green Sea, Russian ports fell under attack, ports in the Chernarussian region were no exception. The war also made trade across the Green Sea impossible, leading to a declining income for the coastal cities. Combined with the high costs of war and the high casualties, the economic state of the entire country and the Chernarussian legion was worsening. People started to lose their jobs and hopes and the populace was suffering. The desperation of the people drove many towards a more radical mindset - be it traditional and nationalistic movements, or communist movements. Over time the communist ideals started to gain more followers among the people though and tension throughout the entire nation was high. The different views the people had started to manifest themselves even more in the following time, with the war still going on and a revolution on its way, the people of Chernarus were split. While some people supported the white army, others supported the idea of communism and the Bolsheviks. There were those that had opposed the Tsardom to begin with, and saw the revolution as a possible means to split off from Russia again - seeing it as an “enemy of my enemy” kind of deal, others saw the tsar as a “lesser evil” and sided with the white army. Again it was not just the Chernarussians affected by that - the ethnic Russians were just as split, some being loyal to the tsar, while many others joined the Bolsheviks in hopes of being able to change the situation the country was in. While still suffering from the war, the nation also had to deal with inner turmoil, as the opposing factions clashed also within Chernarus. Nevertheless, the end and outcome of the revolution was welcomed by the majority of people. Most had a positive outlook on things and were full of hope for a better future. Celebrations were held throughout all of Russia and the Chernarussian region. There was time to recover after the war, rebuilding of destroyed port towns and the revival of trade. As the USSR was founded in 1922, Chernarus stayed part of the newfound union. The Russian language and cyrillic were taught in school, facing less opposition than under the tsar. Under Stalin, Chernarus was affected in a similar way as the rest of Russia. With Stalin's plan for building a socialist economy and further socialism in one country, Russia as a whole underwent an intensive program of industrialization, as well as extensive changes in it’s agriculture due to the collectivization of farms. The decision led to famine plaguing the whole country, hitting the Chernarussian region as well, rekindling the unrest among the people. However, groups opposing Stalin's regime were quickly oppressed. With the great purge and mass repression in the years of 1937 and 1938, thousands of people were executed throughout Russia, hundreds alone in Chernarus. From political convicts, opposing parties to religious leaders, as state atheism was promoted and religion was branded with a social stigma. Some religious groups tried to protest these changes at first, but once the first religious leaders were persecuted, they were silenced, meeting up only in secret. Those people that were not lucky enough to face death were deported to Gulags, where they were made to work or rot away. One of those Gulags, built into the remnants of an old fort, can be found along the coast in the South-Zagorian region. During this era, quite a few industrial towns and sectors started to emerge, standing up until this day. Some prime examples are the industrial sectors in Novodmitrovsk and Chernogorsk. With the second world war starting in 1939, the Soviet Union eventually found itself at war with Germany after the launch of operation “Barbarossa” in 1941 and campaigns in the Black and Green Sea. While the Russian fleet in these waters was superior compared to the enemy's fleet, they were overwhelmed by air strikes conducted by the Germans and german reinforcements were reaching the Black and Green Sea over the Danube river. Since Chernarus had access to the Green Sea, Novigrad became one major port and an important position in the war. However, due to the massive battles at sea as well as the german army advancing on land, the region fell completely under german control in August 1942. While there were few that were actually welcoming the invaders, many people opposed them and Chernarussians and Russians were once again united against a common enemy. In January 1943, the invaders were successfully pushed out of the region again and the course of the war changed. The port towns had suffered the most during the war, having faced major destruction due to the naval war and air strikes. The following years were spent recovering from the war and rebuilding what had been destroyed. While there was a mutual respect and friendliness between the Russian and Chernarussian people, the Chernarussian folk was still a proud people, not necessarily opposing communism, but from time to time there were still groups and people being vocal and pointing out the national rights of Chernarussians, such as their culture, language and script, as politics were aiming to further integrate Chernarussians into socialism. Groups and people that occupied themselves with Chernarussian culture and/or history were under surveillance, sometimes even facing imprisonment if deemed as dangerous. After Stalin's death, during the De-Stalinization and “thaw”, many prisoners were released and reintegrated into society and there was some easement of the oppressive politics. The country's economy was still growing under the impact of industrialization until it’s growth slowly stagnated in the 10s-80s. From 1985 and onwards, the politics of glasnost and perestroika under Gorbachev were leading to separatist and nationalist movements. Chernarus was not spared from those movements and groups that had seemingly been lying dormant during the past years started to resurface, pushing for an independent Chernarussian state. When the Soviet Union fell apart in 1991, a referendum was held, with the outcome leading to the creation of the independent Chernarussian Republic. As the USSR fell apart, the independent Chernarussian Republic was founded - a democratic state, the first president being Petr Černý. Things were running well in the first few years after it’s foundation. Economy was slowly recovering and a new currency was introduced in 1992 - the Chernarussian crown. The country also has its own military - the Chernarussian Defense Force, or short CDF. Following Petr Černý, Radek Kozlov was voted for to take the president's position, holding it until the Civil War in 2009. The flag of the Democratic Chernarussian Republic Despite the majority of the people having voted for an independent country, tensions in the country were as strong as never before, as there were still people who would have preferred to stay part of Russia, believing they would have been better off with that choice. In 1997 the Working Man’s Defense Alliance was founded by Gregori Lopotev, organising protests for better pay and working conditions. They weren’t fond of the current government and instead followed communist ideals. The group was dissolved about two years later, but was the foundation that the ChDKZ - the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star, was built upon. In early September of 2009, the tension between the newly formed Chernarussian Republic and the ethnic Russian Seperatist group known as the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star, resurged in violent activity. The apprehension of their commander Gregori Lopotev pushed the movement towards a violent uprising against the corrupt Chernarussian government, leading to the Chernarussian Civil War, later known as ‘Liberation War’. While the war only lasted for a few months, from September 2009 to January 2010, many war crimes were committed on both sides, one of them being the Moscow bombing, known to be instigated by NAPA, a nationalist terrorist group aiding the Chernarussian Defense Force in the war. Following the Moscow bombing, Russia joined in to help their brothers, but with Russian involvement, NATO got involved themselves as well. Displeased with the involvement of NATO, Russia threatened them to back out of the conflict, which they eventually did, retracting all of their forces that had been in Chernarus. Meanwhile Russia fully committed to protecting their fellow ethnic brothers. While most of the war itself was fought on the grounds of South Zagoria, many infamous battles happened throughout Chernarus such as the Battle of the Pit (Kirovograd) or the infamous siege of Miroslav. The northern borders of Chernarus and cities such as Kirovograd became strong points for Russian/Seperatist control while in the south like the cities of Novigrad and Miroslav became beacons of nationalist/government forces. -Aftermath of the Battle of the Pit (Kirovograd) in December 16th 2009. One of the most bloody battles of the war and a deep wound in Chernarussian History. The war waged on until the early days of the following year, only to result in a final victory in Novigrad with a joint effort of the CHDKZ and Russian Forces finally storming the city and capturing the Opposing government forces. In the siege of Novigrad the President of Chernarus and many of the major Generals of the CDF forces where captured in multiple Soviet Bunkers around the city leading to the final end to a bloody civil war, commonly known now as the Liberation War. With the Civil War being won by the ChDKZ and Lopotev and the foundation of the Chernarussian Socialist Republic, the nation was again subject to crucial changes. The former government and the Chernarussian Defence Force were dissolved with the help of the Russian Federation and military leaders and politicians were arrested for their war crimes. Among those facing trials were Radek Kozlov and two high-ranked members of the CDF - Mikhail Barta and Dmitri Gregorz. Whom where executed in prison the following year by the newly formed Government. The National Party - NAPA was internationally recognised as a terrorist organisation due to the Moscow bombing. The choices in terms of NAPA and CDF soon became more radical, as people were imprisoned or forced into exile. Gregori Lopotev was instated as the leader of the new Chernarussian Socialist Republic (CSP) and while the CDF was disbanded, a new army was installed. Under former leaders, loyal to Lopotev, the Republic Army of Chernarus (RAC) was founded in November 2012 and with the introduction of compulsory military service, quickly grew to stable numbers. -Picture of the newly formed 34th Infantry Battalion "Bear Company" on parade in the city of Lopotevgrad. The nation underwent further drastic changes in its structure, the change being all the more visible to the public as towns and cities were renamed after the heroes of the Liberation War, with the capital itself - Novigrad, being renamed to Lopotevgrad along with a couple of other cities to represent the glory of the revolution against the CDF. Within this period was a time of great migration for the Chernarussian population as many decided to leave their homelands and migrated to eastern/European countries for a new home and life to escape from the new Regime that was being founded within the CSR. In fear of being seen as a traitor or a possible threat to the new Regime. With this there was a mass migration of Ethnics Russians from the south of Russia moving to fill up the sectors where Chernarus was lacking (Doctors/Scientists/Buildings/Working force 3rd sector) to help rebuild the Chernarussian Economy as a part of a trade deal and effort to improve relations further with both nations. In 2013, the era known as Hrůzy “Terrors” (for the Chernarussian Nationals) began, as Lopotev hunted down, imprisoned or eradicated any possible war-criminals and sympathizers throughout all of Chernarus. Due to Lopotev’s harsh treatment of former NAPA and CDF members, the numbers of ethnic Chernarussians in the country declined, while ethnic Russians were welcomed with open arms, Lopotev actually inviting Russian citizens into the country himself. With the help of these new migrants, the country started to flourish again, recovering from yet another war. After the war, Lopotev was working closely with Russia, but ultimately wanted to fulfill his own goal of a fair socialist republic, not rejoining the Russian Federation, but only keeping them as close allies an unexpected turn for many of the Russian Federation as it was understood a war of unification rather than one of a regime change. With his acts against all possible former CDF and NAPA members, Lopotev made himself a target to the remnants of those groups. Rumours of underground organisations with the goal to bring Lopotev down started to spread. Eventually, these movements succeeded in their goal. On 18th January 2016, Lopotev was assassinated by a young nationalist in the ranks of the CLF - the Chernarus Liberation Front, in Zelenogorsk. -Weapons and Mask found by RAC forces used by the nationalist Assassin during his capture and Arrest The assassination on the county’s leader almost sparked a new Civil War. Riots throughout the cities across the country caused instability, militia groups started to rise again and the Republic Army of Chernarus was leaderless without Lopotev’s command and overwhelmed by the entire situation. To prevent another Civil War, Russia decided to intervene again by sending troops, as well as instating a new leader with the support of the Russian Loyalist faction within the Lopotev Government faction. On April 27th 2016, Ivan Bernarus, a Pro-Russian loyalist within the RAC forces came to hold the office of the president of the Chernarussian Socialist Republic. As the nation once again continued to work closely with Russia, it underwent further development. More Russians started to migrate into the country, settling in the big cities. More of their culture was adapted as well. Eventually, the path was cleared for a referendum to take place with the goal to integrate Chernarus into the Russian Federation. The result of the referendum was an outstanding 87% voting yes. With Chernarus being welcomed as the twenty third republic into the union, new changes happened. Over the following years, the RAC were to be integrated into the Russian Forces, while the currency in the region was replaced by the Russian Ruble again. Other countries were deeming the annexation of Chernarus as illegal, the members of NATO were anything but happy with everything that happened but where powerless to act against the will of the Russian Bear only enforcing further Sanctions on the Russian Federation in doing so effecting further the Chernarussian people. This period of "peace" was only to be short lived as soon as the Russian Federation began their "Russianization" of the Chernarussian nation, with nationalist outraw still in the heart of the Chernarussian lands and an unexpected invisible enemy at the doors of this nation and the world. Chernarus would once again find herself in conflict/paranoia/confusion and worst of all....Division and death.

When a strange flu first emerged in the slums of Istanbul in December 2018, no one could have estimated what it would lead to. As weeks and month passed, the later known as “Frenzied Flu” started to spread across the globe. The nations struggled with it all in their own way, instating quarantines and curfews and whatever was deemed necessary to make sure the health care system was not pushed to a breaking point. Reappearing in waves, the second one happening in 2019, the flu changed the lives of those affected forever. As it now stands, the world is dealing with the third wave, with a sudden mutation, causing those that were affected to have violent outbursts and attacking the people around them, while not responding to any demands made by police or military forces that tried to put a stop to this madness. The Frenzied Flu has a strangle hold on the regions of South Zagoria and Nadbor, two Countries opposite from each other both vastly affected by this new highly deadly infection. As efforts are made to attempt to control it different Factions are represented each with their own agendas and goals. Chernarus Liberation Front or CLF are a guerrilla tactics based pro-independent Chernarussian movement whose fight is for the freedom and independence of Chernarus from foreign controlling forces and Russian influenced regime that had taken over from the winning of the Harvest Red operation that lead to the bloody civil war. They are considered extremists and branded as a terrorist organization by the ruling government of Chernarus. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation or RF are a sub-sect of the Russian military brought in to help establish control and dominance over the unrest and unease in the South Zagoria region. Fearing another bloody civil war or a bid for independence during a vulnerable time Russia has sent in it's own ground troops in order to ensure that their ideals remain among the populace and it's people by any means necessary. Republic Army of Chernarus or RAC is Chernarus' own military, re-branded from their infamous former alias as the Chedaki and established as the ruling military force in the country. The RAC works to maintain control over the land, it's people and the infection while dealing with extremists and influence from Russia. While semi pro-communist the RAC still hold onto their heritage and desire for Chernarussian roots, believing they can serve and protect their own lands and do not require assistance from outside forces. Livonia is a mainly peaceful country not quite with the same bloody history as Chernarus. Their major defense is their own military known as the Livonia Defense Force, or LDF. They share ties with NATO and the UN easily gaining support for their goals via these connections. Though unrest still remains in the lands, the monarchists wish to see a re-establishment of the royal family and a move away from a president led regime and during a pandemic such as this it seems ripe with opportunity to put these plans into motion.

Greetings DayZRP Community. We are excited to announce an upcoming lore wipe which has been in the works for quite some time now by our dedicated Loremaster team. Lore wipe is a complete reset of the in game universe which now has been running since July 24th 2017. The current lore has passed day 1000 and we feel as if it is time to start fresh with something new and unique. To accomplish that we have chosen to do this lore wipe in a different way than in the past, it is a more planned and structured approach, rather than deleting everything and hoping for the best. This is done by dividing the lore progression into easily trackable lore seasons with specific goals and strict deadlines, each with its own story. Our new lore will be fundamentally different to the one we currently have, but we are not yet ready to reveal the details surrounding it. The one thing we can say is that we have chosen to ignore the Bohemia lore from a certain point in time and created our own unique one. More details will be revealed at the same time as the date for lore wipe draws nearer. Here is a preliminary schedule for the lore wipe and afterwards we will include a few sections for groups, characters and seasons with most important questions covered. We have picked June 1st as the date for the lore wipe. This means that you will have around three weeks from the time this is posted to wrap up your stories, ties and goals with the current characters and groups in the current lore. On Sunday May 31st we will hold a large lore ending event in game. Once the event concludes you will be given around an hour to say IC goodbyes to your friends and groups. Once the IC part is finished, a PvP event (aka KoS hour) with prizes will start which will last an hour or two, depending on interest. After finishing and giving out prizes for PvP event and a few MVPs for accomplishments in the old lore, the servers will shut down for the rest of the night. On the morning of June 1st, with the servers still offline the following will happen: All current groups will be archived All current character pages will be deleted If you have something in any of the above you’d like to save, now is the time to do it. Once the old lore content is deleted, an announcement containing the new lore will be posted and ability to create new characters unlocked. Due to the massive influx of new character pages there will be after the wipe, we have expanded the Support team. During the first weeks we will have a character page backlog to review. Be patient and please report the character pages you find after the lore wipe if you find anything that is out of order. Groups Once the lore is posted and character creation opened the servers will start up with the new lore in effect. This will mark the beginning of the prologue of the new lore. The prologue will last throughout June and will apply some restrictions for players. During the first two weeks of the new lore no group ideas can be created. This is done for players to get accustomed to the lore on a personal level, to add to the atmosphere of the outbreak by forcing people to play as vulnerable individuals rather than powerful groups and it wouldn’t make much sense for groups to appear so early into the outbreak. You will however be able to join a few lore factions during that time, which the Loremaster team has created. These factions are run mainly by staff members or select community members in the beginning. The factions are there to further the lore and to bring both fear and prosperity to Chernarus and Livonia. Once the two week period is over the players will once again be able to create group ideas and start forming their groups in game. No groups will be approved before July 1st, when the first season of the new lore starts. Seasonal lore progression On July 1st we start the first season of the new lore. The seasonal content is pre-planned by the Loremaster team and consists of a major plot line furthering the lore. These events might be short or they might be permanent throughout the season. The outcome of the season will be decided by the players and the outcome will affect the next season. Each season lasts exactly three months and has strict deadlines and they are aligned with regular quarters of the year, so season 1 will start in Q3 2020, season 2 in Q4, etc. Each season's summary as well as their outcomes will be documented so that players joining later on or mid season will be able to quickly catch up to current events and state of the in game world. Why lore wipe? Nothing will change and everything will be normal after a few weeks In the past this might have been true. But there are several reason why we choose to do this now: The Loremaster team will have their own lore to tinker with. They have made the ideas and they know why it was made. The concept is unique, which will allow them to work freely on it. Seasonal content and starting restrictions will change the server dynamic over time, introducing new threats, new enemies, new friends and new events. We have a lot of new players in the community who suddenly pop up three years into the outbreak. These players might feel more at home and more welcome being here from “the beginning” and the infection being relatively recent. @Roland doesn’t like 4 digit day number on home page What about May? What’s the point of playing now? We hope that the community will bear with us while we finish up the last details on the new lore. Not everything is completely ready yet. Please do not bother the Loremaster team unnecessarily, or ask about the details. We will not share any details about the new lore until it has launched. In terms of the plan for remainder of May, the following will happen: New large patch within the next week or two, which will remove base building as we know it and replace it with MoreDoors and also add new mods, items and vehicles. You will have time to get accustomed to the changes before the lore wipe. There’s no point wasting time creating new long term storylines, new groups or anything from this point onwards. All groups currently in group ideas will be approved or denied after this announcement. The group ideas section will then be locked. We are excited about this idea and we hope that you are too. We believe and think that this will change the gameplay dynamics going forward, as well as giving the staff team more freedom to be creative. Enjoy the last month of the current lore and we’ll see you on the other side come June 1st. TL;DR Lore wipe schedule May 31st Lore wipe event PvP event (KoS hour) Servers go offline June 1st Lore is wiped, new one is announced and posted Existing character pages deleted Existing group threads archived Servers go online with new lore in the afternoon Prologue start June 16th Group ideas submissions open July 1st Prologue ends Season 1 begins Group idea approvals FAQ Will I be able to take a group from the old lore and re-use it? It is possible. But you will have to modify the group to fit the new lore. Staff retains the right to deny any groups from the old lore at any point if the group no longer fits the lore or timeline, or the idea has been overdone or was force archived in the past. Can I use lore factions such as the UN? No. These are restricted to be used by the lore masters and staff for lore seasons. Can I remake an old character that was dead/deleted and replay them? Yes. But as with groups you have to alter the story to fit the new lore. Not all characters will fit naturally. Do I have to re-whitelist? No. But you have to accept the new lore on the lore page. Will there be any rule changes? No. Can I play with members of the community I know from this lore? Yes. But you need to make sure your characters have a history from before the new lore started if you’re going to know each other well already. If not you need to arrange a meeting in game. Will my item store purchases be available in the new lore? Yes. I paid for a group clothing/armband what will happen to that content from this lore? Group clothing will be discontinued. We will continue supplying groups with free armbands. Contact @Roland for a partial refund on your group clothing. But Chernarus is thriving. Why are you doing this right now? This lore wipe has been planned for a long time. At the time it was decided, Chernarus was still dead and Livonia was thriving. The server dynamic changes all the time and there is no way to predict it ahead of time. Will old players previously banned be able to rejoin the community for a fresh start? No. They will have to go through Amnesty as normal. Amnesty is still a one time thing. Why did @Hofer change? I don’t know. Ask @BabaRP.

"The fields will be sowed with the seeds of our revolution, blooming eternally evergreen, growing in unyielding strength. For the earth has been watered from the bloodshed in the face of unjust oppression and the land has grown hungry, yearning for more. We shall answer it's call, but not with our own. Not any longer." -Kosma Danoowski (Spring of Nations 1848) Speech after the defeat of the local Prussian Guard in the Capital Livonia (Ливониа), officially known as the Kingdom of Livonia (under the Queen Elisia Casamir I), is located in the Baltic Regions between the states of Russia (next to Kaliningrad), Belarus (To her south-east), Lithuania (to her north-east) and Poland (to her south-west). A rather small region known for their mass open fields and illustrious forests with the river Biela and Krust with a territory of 45,300 km² and a population of an estimated 7 million people living in the country. Livonia is seen as Europe’s 33rd largest country. Here is a map representation of were Livonia is located in Europe: This is the modern-day variant of the Livonian flag. The tricolour of the flag (blue, white and yellow) was first seen in the initial uprising of 1848 during the spring of Revolution, each representing a symbol of Livonian aspirations and desires. The royal insignia of the House of Casamir is a modern-day adaptation and was implemented with the Casamir Restoration of 1992. The blue represents their desire for liberality and independence, a common trait throughout their history. White for harmony and desire of unity of the north and the south and the gold to represent the wealth of the Livonian lands and people. The people of Livonia have a vast and long history within their lands. While there is little to no information on the Pre-Dark Era, the earliest known written document about Livonia along with Lithuania was in the Quedlinburg Chronicles. These were done by Saint Bruno where they were quoted as the “Litua” in Latin. These people were groups of multiple different tribal groups: “Old Prussian/ Sudovians and some early Lithuanians. The modern day name of Livonia and the Livonian people was first seen by German scholars from the HRE (Holy Roman Empire) for the crusader state known as the Livonian Order and the later known as the Livonian Confederation (They have very little to do with the Livonian order besides their ties to the Teutonic order). However, it was originally seen as part of the territory of the Teutonic Order. The Sudovians were known as fierce folk, often used as mercenary forces for many nations around the area and especially for the early first “Rus” along with other Germanic clans against the Romans after the fall of the Roman Empire. They were heavily skilled in warfare along with a strong hunter/gatherer upbringing due to the vast forestation and wildlife in the Livonian region, even taking an active part in the Prussian Uprising against the invading Teutonic Crusaders. Livonia during this period, took part in a series of uprisings against the invading Crusaders and became one of the main frontmen against the invaders, here we see famous legendary figures such as Eliasz Tarnow and Elisia Sephenov, fighting against the invading forces. They met with initial success against the Crusaders, the early “Proto-State” of Livonia was formed in the year 1237. However after multiple rebellions and conflicts, the Teutonic crusaders managed to get the upper hand against the Sudovians with the killing blow at the “Battle of Stokowsko” between Prussian knights and Sudovian foot soldiers in 1283, where finally Eliasz Tarnow was killed on the battlefield. It is said in local legends that as the battle was ending, the last 50 of the soldiers were offered freedom if they would convert as they were surrounded. They were each offered a cross as a sign of conversion only to see them all drop them on the floor and spit on resulting in the known “Horned Stampede” were the remaining 50 men along with Eliasz charged against the Crusader forces as a last act of defiance. This is the mythical reasoning behind the creation of the modern-day version of the flag of Livonia, representing that defiance and warrior culture and a stag from the Tarnow family line -Teutonic Knights while charging against the Sudovian Forces at the Battle of Stokowsko (1283) The battle resulted in the annexation of the lands of Livonia into the Teutonic state and the transformation of these lands into Catholic state. With mass German migration, integration and conversion of the locals and mass exiling to make room for the new Germanic population. After the Prussian Rebellions, Livonia became part of the Teutonic state from the year 1285, part of the crusader state where fortifications were built against the Luthianian and polish borders against external threats of Christianity. Successful at first and with the adaptation of Teutonic tactics into their warrior culture and Christianisation of the lands even production of a Grand Master (Borislav Ottovisk), however it only lasted for so long. In 1577 the Danzig rebellion hit the Teutonic order resulting in war between Danzig and their allies (Poland) and Teutonic forces. It resulted in a loss for the Order and in Poland annexing the territory of Livonia and formed the Duchy of Livonia under the new The Duke Adrian Branzow as a vassal state for the resulting Polish victory against the Teutonic Order. Livonia formed part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth during their union in statehood. It proved to be a period of prosperity and mass migration for within their territories. While Livonia was never fully annexed into the Polish or Lithuanian kingdoms and maintained their feudal lineage of the “Branzow '' it was respected as a semi autonomous state within the Commonwealth. Having the same rights as both of the other nations had during that time. The Livonians began their fortifications (Castles) against the possible invasion threats of the newly created Prussian’s against their borders, along with training of an advanced military of Pikemen to combat alongside the Polish Winged Hussars. In this period, the castle of Branzow was constructed along with other castles in Livonia on the Prussian Border. Livonia formed part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth during their union in statehood. It proved to be a period of prosperity and mass migration for within their territories. In this period, the castle of Branzow was constructed along with other castles in Livonia on the Prussian border. Livonia also in this period became an important trade node within the Commonwealth, a centerpoint between both the Lithuanian Capital and the Polish Capital of Warsaw and the Biela river, connecting important trade-cities such as Topolin and Sitnik. Much of the trade from within the empire had to come from their territories, especially through the newly formed capital of Andrzejow. It was a period of prosperity for the region, where many of the cities would have mass growth and trade roots would be established within the region. Livonia was a major producer of iron/cattle and grain for the Commonwealth due to their vast fields and rich iron sources within their territory. They became a major supplier for the war efforts within the Commonwealth, especially in the territories north near the Lithuanian border and the rich fields of Nadbór. Soldiers and trade were vital in many wars that went through the region. The infamous northern wars between The Polish Commonwealth, Russian and Denmark against Sweden and also the religious wars in the HRE, Livonia maintained their warrior culture traditions and were infamous for their pikemen and soldiers. Forming mercenary groups such as the Hajduk (not to be confused with the Polish Hadjuk), the Czerwony Orzeł (shot and pike unites) and Zółty Jeleń (mercenary unite directly hired to protect the Duke of Livonia). These were some of the major mercenary groups from within Livonia, well trained soldiers who not only fought for the Commonwealth, but were rather popularly recruited by other states during wars. The Livonian people maintained their reputation as warriors, not on the level of the hussars but with their tactical skills on the battlefield, but in the end, they found themselves along with Poland and the HRE (Holy Roman Empires) on the side of the Catholic League fighting in iconic battles such as the battle of Humenné and the battle of Frankfurt an der Oder. However, this period of prosperity would only last so long. As the Commonwealth would begin to decline, so would the “autonomy” of the region itself. States such as the newly formed Russian Empire and Prussia would show great interest in the region. Russia due to its trade ties inland and Prussia due to its connections with her mythic Prussian lands. As the Commonwealth began to fall, the lands of Livonia were finally split up with their old rival and a new power in the region (Russia) in 1795. where the north-east would form part of the Russian Empire and the south-west would form part of the new Prussian state. From the separation of the lands in 1795, Livonia began a cultural identity crisis from within their lands. With their territory split between two major forces, the people were split into two separate blocks. The south block formed part of the Prussian state where the north would form part of the Russian Empire. With attempts from both ends to indoctrinate the Livonian people into each state's culture, there was a common misunderstanding from both ends that believed that Livonia was just another “Polish” territory. However, this division of statehood would only last for a short period of time as once the French revolution hit Europe, as part of the treaties of Tilsit (1807) where Livonia (united) was her own independent kingdom along with the newly formed Duchy of Poland under the ideals of the French Revolution (nation and freedom). In 1808 there was the first ever constitutional monarchy (along with their first ever monarch “Otto Casamir I”) upholding the ideals that revolution. This freedom however only lasted for so long as once the Napoleonic Empire fell, pre-revolution borders of Livonia were drawn once more, resulting in divided people with the elimination of the newly formed constitution. But the ideas of the revolution and nationalism did not leave the hearts of the Livonian people. Like many other countries that were part of the Napoleonic Empire, the changes implemented into Livonian lands had already taken their toll. The idea of a “united” and independent Livonia stretched through both ends, taking great influence from the Germanic Romanticism movement. The concept of a Livonian state began along with the rebirth of Livonian literature and translation of old “Prussian/Livonian” texts into modern-day Polish/Russian with the idealization of a Pre-Commonwealth Livonia state with local heroes, legends, myths and battles. It was a cultural booming period of writers within Livonia. But this was mainly seen on the German side. On the Russian side, there was a lot of oppression and heavy attempts to “russianize” the territory as they did with many other territories within the Russian Empire. During the 19th century, there were multiple nationalist uprisings from within the Livonian territories. The most famous was during the Spring of Nations (The revolutions of 1848 were on both ends Livonian nationalists rose up against their oppressors and attempted to formed a liberal Livonian state, led by famous revolutionaries such as Adrian Czar, Kosma Danoowski and Sara Brzoza. With initial success and supporting the Polish revolutionaries, these people wanted to bring back the initial constitution of 1808, along with the restoration of the monarchy under Friedrich Casamir (son of Otto Casamir). -Flags of the Revolutionary Countries 1848 It seemed that there was going to be a free Livonia. However, once the Polish rebels from within Prussia fell, the Holy Alliance (Russia and Prussia) joined forces and squashed the rebel forces resulting in mass execution for the rebel leaders that rose up against their overlords. Sara Brzoza, a woman revolutionary and lover of Adrian Czar is treated as a martyr till this day in Livonian culture for her participation in the war and her literature during her imprisonment: “Nations, unity and freedom should not be dictated by Kings and Emperors they should be dictated by equal men.” -Sara Brzoza, During her imprisonment in Saint Petersburg 1851 Depending on the region inside Livonia, the industrial revolution did not properly hit Livonia like the rest of Europe. Since her territories were split between Prussia (in the future Germany) and the Russian Empire, there was a minor scale industrialisation on the German side of the border. Due to the connection to the Biela river, trade still flew in from Königsberg (now actual Kaliningrad) and the discovery of coal mines near the capital. Coal was transported through the Biela river up to Königsberg. Bit by bit, the south end of Livonia became a coal source for within the German Empire with the first railroads constructed (1861) between the capital of Andrzejow and the mining sector to the south following up to Biela river finally to Königsberg. The first ever city-to-city railroad (the Andrzejow Line) in 1891 was a continuation of the imperial railroad that connected from mainland Prussia all the way into Russian controlled Livonia to the city of Stokowsko and from there up the Baltic coasts. This was to ease transportation between both empires to show off both German and Russian might of the era. It was also seen in the nationalists’ point of view as further unification of the lands and ease of communication and travel for the Livonian people.. -First car production lines in Livionia in the Capital Andrzejow However, the north end of Livonia did not feel the effects of the industrial revolution. There were some basic iron/steelwork factories that were built to the northern borders to make steel and iron, but much of the production was sent into the Russian homeland. The north focused on a more agricultural effort. Focusing on their cattle (mainly the local breed of cows) and grain and potatoes for the empire, producing 9% of the national grain income and a 5% in the potato production in Russia. During this period of “industrialisation” within the territory of Livonia, the nationalist/liberal movements inside the country had taken multiple drastic changes. Due to the lack of industrialisation on both sides of the territory, most of Livonia did not have a “strong” Marxist movement inside the country. As most parties were banned from within the Russian border and movements were censored, a lot of the nationalist/workers/liberal movements for Livonia happened from within the German side of the country. Parties such as the Przywrócenie Kazimierza (Casamir restoration; A monarchical party trying to restore the Casamir dynasty), the Partia Demokratycznej Wolności (PDW; Democratic Liberal Party), Livonian Ruch Społeczno-Marksistowski (LRSM; Livonian Social-Marxists Movement) were major players in the south, while in the north -in the Russian controlled territory-there was a heavy anarcho-communist movement. A far more violent movement than in the south end of Livonia such as infamous groups called the Czarna Ręka (The black hand) and the Dzikie Orły (Feral Eagles; an extremely strong anarchist Anti-Russian militia) On the Russian side of the border, they suffered multiple terror themed attacks inspired by Russian anarcho-communism, attacking both ends of the border. The Dzikie Orly being one of the more violent groups in the region, responsible up to 2000 recorded deaths from their initial creation in 1856 to their eventual disbandment in 1901 were they grouped up with the Czarna Ręka focusing more on an anarchist Livonian state, rather than anarcho-communism. This was a period of oppression but steady radicalisation within Livonia, only to finally bear fruit once the great war began. Livonia found herself fighting against each other during the Great War. Both sides of the same coin, they found themselves drafted to fight opposite ends both with the promise of freedom. The German side promising an independent Livonian state with the reinstatement of the Casamir dynasty and the Russians promising a new Duchy with a local war hero put as head of state. Livonia found herself as one of the major battlefields in the war in itself. Its territory open fields and very little mountain terrain. Livonia was a prime example for mobile warfare between the Russian and German states, constantly under attack from the north-west side of the Prussian border and invasions coming from the south. The Biela river had a huge strategic importance for both ends as it was a source into the Prussian homeland and a defensive position for the Russian empire to stop the advance into the Baltics and their iron reserves. The war was a constant back and forth, like most of the eastern front. However, in the year 1915 it was clear, trench warfare was going to be the outcome for most of the war. Towns and cities such as Gliniska and Brena became important Russian strongholds in the region, while cities such as Murantyn and Topolin became German strongholds with the formations of a series of trenches networking all the way from Topolin up to Sitnik. -The Livonian Forces massing for the Russian Front Tarnow (1915) Eventually with the outbreak of the Russian Revolution and the moral of the Russian Army flustering, the German Army managed to break through the entrenched Russian forces and push past the river, eventually managing to conquer all of the Livonian territory resulting in finally unification of the Livonian peoples under 1 banner. The formation of the Livonian state became official in the treaty of Brest-Litovsk (1918) resulting in the creation of the Kingdom of Livonia underneath the Great Great Grandson of Otto Casamir (Otto Casamir II) as new king of Livonia. Here they also made the constitution of 1918, following the ideals of the constitution of 1907 but adding universal suffrage (male), freedom of expression, meeting and movement and the recognition of a parliamentary government under the influence of the German State (Parties such as the PDW, PK, LRSM and the newly founded PRC (Communist party)). Livonia’s National independence came on April 18th of 1918 but her official independence day is May 27th. Her first official Party was led by the PDW under their first president Levig Konosow. The newly formed state also had formed their official national military the LDF (Livonian Defence Force) and began using the German Papiermark (Later known as the Reichsmark) as official currency for Livonia due to her Economical ties to Germany. They were sided on the side of the Central Powers during the war, but did not actively take part in the war due to the creation of statehood. As the war ended and in the Treaty of Versailles, Livonia was recognised by the Entente as an independent state and was able to keep the borders that were drawn after the treaty of Brest-Litovsk. However from the conception of her independence, Livonia found herself already at threat from external invasion by the newly formed USSR and the invasion of Poland (Polish-Soviet war of 1919-1920). Livonia even though her territories at that moment were not in threat joined with the Polish alliance against the newly formed Revolutionary Army and fought against them in the battle of Warsaw. Supporting their former brothers in arms in a bloody battle that ended in Polish victory. With the war ending, Poland recognised Sovereignty` of Livonia and the forced recognition by the Soviet Union of the Livonian State. Livonia also found themselves after the war with the newly formed USSR as an invited member into the League of Nations. -Livonian Defence Force (LDF) in the fields of Warsaw before the Revolutionary Army Offensive (1920) One of the main interesting factors of Livonia is her time during The Great Depression. Like Poland, the country was originally hit hard by the economical crisis however the country itself recovered rather quickly thanks to the support of their fellow Baltic countries and Poland itself coming out of the depression with a stable economy. Livonia during this period of time became one of eastern Europe's Becons of democracy off the former Russian states. Taking influence on the style of Goverment in Czechoslovakia, however it was not without her troubles during that period. Like the rest of Europe, due to the Great Depression there was a rise in the Radicalisation of both political spectrums. On the Left the PRC (Livonian Komunistyczna Partia) with the support of the USSR found great strides down south in the industrialised sectors of Livonia, especially along the River cities. While up in the north (And some parts of the south) they would see the creation of Paramilitary/Nationalistic/Religious groups that would be radicalised in the defence of Livonia. Groups known as the Wiara i Dziedzictwo (WD "Faith and Heritage"), an extreme monarchical organisation in favour of an absolute monarchy and preservation of the Catholic Faith/Livonian Traditions of the king and the Liga Nowych Ludów (LNL "New Peoples League") A Proto-Livonian Paramilitary organisation that was influenced by Italian Fascism and Germany and the intent in keeping an independent and free Livonia. Livonia, like Poland was threatened on each end of Europe. From one side, the USSR wished to regain her old borders and reclaim her territories of Northern Livonia and in addition south Liviona also, forming a Communist Republic under the ideals of the USSR. On her western front, she found herself also part of a territorial claim of the newly formed German Reich. With a small population of Germans living on the borders of Königsberg, Germany had promised to protect all Germans and to unite all Germans under one banner also with the ties to the Teutonic Order and the old Prussian lands, German saw Livonia as Lebensraum and a core part of "Greater Germany". With all these enemies from within and outside Livonia found herself allying with Poland in a mutual defensive pact while also finding themselves pushing themselves closer to the Entente and forming an alliance with Great Britain and France after a failed attempt to unite all Baltic states under one strong banner against any external threat. As the war Began, and with the invasion of Poland, Livonia kept their promise of mutual defence and declared war against Germany also. However, even though the Livonian like the Polish Troops defended their territory with honour due to the far more advanced German tactics and then the future help of the USSR, both Livonia and Poland found themselves fully occupied and annexed into each state. Livonia lasted only a couple of weeks after the fall of Warsaw but finally surrendered as the German Troops were beginning to siege Andrzejow. They officially surrendered on October 17th of 1939. As part of the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, Livonia found herself fully part of the official "Greater Germany" and had enforced and placed the Nazi Party in full control of the region itself with the elimination and persecution of all former Livonian diplomatic/Armed forces ties to the country. The King and important political figures had managed to Flee the country thanks to the help of brave soldiers of the LDF and managed to flee to Great Britian, shown as a symbol of a resistance leaders of occupied Livonia. -Resistance efforts and enforced repression by German troops on an Anarchist Hideout (1943) However Livonias fight in the war did not end there. Groups such as the PRC, Dzikie Orły, Czarna Reka and ironically the Liga Nowych Ludów found themselves as strong resistance groups against the occupation of Livonia, coursing violence against the German occupiers, destroying infrastructure, communication lines and murder of high value targets throughout the lands. Each with their own course and motives behind it, but united against the German Occupation. The most important uprising was the communist, what had been steadily been growing support through an underground network though the years of occupation, with that there was an uprising in Livonia in September 1944 with support of the Red Army against the Occupiers in the city of Stokowsko what later spread to the Capital as a means of attempt to bring the Communist Revolution to Livonia and join forces with the Red Army, inspired by the uprising in Warsaw earlier that year. Unlike the uprising in Warsaw, the Communists found far greater success in the uprising and managed to capture the cities and hold them until Red Army forces could further solidify their grasp on the Nation. From here, was the birth of the First Soviet Socialist Republic of Livonia (Livonian Radziecka Republika Socjalistyczna) otherwise known as the LRRS) As the war came to an end in Europe and with the new rise of power in Livonia. Many former Rebel cells inside Livonia (such as the Paramilitary Wing and the Anarchists) found themselves going underneath further oppression and made illegal within Livonia with the new rule of a Soviet influenced Government and with the continued exile of the King and former war cabinet. This did not come without Diplomatic disapproval of the allied nations as the return of the king was a promise of the allied powers to Livonia, but it became a sacrifice in Soviet appeasement after the end of the war, with the King Ending up living the rest of his life with his family in Austin Texas Livonia became a prime example of a state under Soviet control and influence and even formed part of the Warsaw Pact, becoming firmly part of the 2nd world. Livonia did suffer though through the change of course during this period. Many of the rebel groups inside Livonia where still heavily armed organisations and continued to course extreme amounts of trouble for Livonia during these many years of rule within the Soviet Block. The most active groups (Terror wise) were the Dzikie Orły and Liga Nowych Ludów, both of these groups heavily armed and classified as terror groups underneath the Soviet Regime. During this time-phrame, they would see multiple attacks on the north and also along towns and cities in Livonia. The LNL being the most violent this time period was known as the "Winged Terror" attacks such as the bombing in Kolembrody (1975) or the mass shooting of 12 police officers in Sitnik by the in Dzikie Orły (1984). However the most violent one was carried out in December 14th 1951 by the LNL where there was an attempted coup d'État with the help of former sympathetic generals of the Livonian Army in the Parliamentary building, this resulted in a standoff and firefight between the Soviet forces and the the LRL. In the end after negotiations broke down, the Red Army Forces stormed into the Parliamentary building, but it resulted in the deaths of 23 politicians, 13 army personal, 32 civilians and policeman and 13 members of the LRL with another 23 arrests, all resulting in a swift execution after their attempts in a Coup d'État, to this day the events known as Krwawy piątek (Bloody Friday) But not every movement inside Livonia was Violent. Many political parties went underground or operated outside the country, many groups setting up newspapers in countries such as France, America, Great Britian and even West Germany at the time. Even through all these hardships, Livonian began a heavy period of industrialisation in their lands. The new communist party taking advantage of the already put in place infrastructure and networking within Livonia, she became one of the more heavily industrialised states within the Warsaw Pact, recovering rather quickly from WWII. This also found the redesign of gridwork cities within Livonia, construction of Soviet Styled and themed building blocks and cities through the Livonian lands, while also trying to maintain their illustrious countryside (Used by the Soviet Union and the Livonian Defence force as practice grounds for training their troops on open tertains). This was a time of progress, slow and corrupt within Livonia, but a stable progress the country had not seen for many years. But every Empire has to fall, and soon it was time fo the end of the Communist Regime. Unlike their neighbors to the southwest, Livonia took a cautious approach to post-Soviet politics. In the wake of Glasnost, Perestroika, and the dissolvement of the Soviet Union, Livonia held its first free parliamentary elections in 1991, two years after other countries in the region began their own political discourse. Previously suppressed political ideologies began resurfacing, though the long-standing rule of communism in the region drove the country towards a rise in democratic and monarchial ideas. This political push in Livonia saw the establishment of a Constitutional Monarchy by the year 1995. Stepping into power together, the Casamir dynasty, under King Gustav Casamir, and the Partia Demokratycznej Wolności began Livonia’s transition from a country crippled by the Soviet Union to a thriving, active democracy. Following the close of the 20th century, Livonia stepped into the realm of European politics confidently, joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization on June 4, 2000 in a bid to strengthen their military and their relationships with allies worldwide. In this time, the country also witnessed its first peaceful transition of power, as Queen Elisia Casamir I stepped in to fill the vacuum left by the natural death of King Gustav Casamir. Under Queen Elisia, Livonia thrived whilst undergoing massive change. 2004 saw the country’s admittance to the European union alongside neighbors Poland and Lithuania. Now holding membership in two major world organizations, Livonia’s identity shifted, specifically in the rural areas of the country. Rural towns saw their citizens relocated across the Nadbor region and their buildings demolished, turned into simulated war environments for military training for both Livonian and NATO troops. Economy boomed as the Livonian military was hired out to allies for assistance in external conflicts and membership status in the EU slowly began showing its benefits. The country also underwent a cultural revitalization. In the early 21st century, Livonians returned to their roots with massive support for the monarchy and a resurgence of the Catholic faith. Ultimately, the country was as strong as ever. The monarchy ruled peacefully alongside Parliament and the Catholic church saw a rise to political power in 2007. NATO and the EU saw militaristic and economic booms in the country. Livonians settled into a peaceful and prosperous life, a far cry from the uncertain and dangerous landscapes of just a few decades prior. However, while the country was mostly at peace, not everyone was satisfied. Pockets of political dissonance appeared across the country and whispers of the past surfaced along with them. This dissonance culminated in the first and only major act of violence in the country since 1991. In 2014, an unexpected appearance by the Czarna Reka was accompanied by a plot to assassinate Queen Elisia with a young member of the black hand trying to shoot down the queen during her annual birthday parade throughout the city. With a couple of the guard hurt and one officer killed, After the dust of this would-be assassination settled, Livonia picked up where she left off: a thriving country in eastern Europe however her dark days of anarchistic movements begin to show flourishing throughout the countryside and the cities, leaving a air of doubt throughout the lands.
