ALL MEMBERS OF THIS GROUP WILL BE KOS-ABLE AT ALL TIMES. THAT MEANS THAT BY JOINING THIS GROUP, YOU VOID YOUR RIGHT TO REPORT ANYONE FOR KILLING YOU ON SIGHT. ANYONE MAY KILL YOUR CHARACTER AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON, OR NO REASON AT ALL. The Peacebreakers. A name that brings war to mind. A name that betrays the tranquil blue of a peacekeeping operation long past. The insignia, a globe intersected with crossed blood-red swords, yet flanked by wings. This collection of deserters, survivors, engineers, soldiers, and leaders could be misconstrued as anything other than what they truly are. Brothers and sisters, united against the one true enemy and any that would do harm to those who do not deserve it. The shield that halts the sword mid-swing. The wings that carry the disheartened. The swords that cut down any that stand in the way of safe and prosperous civilizations. The Peacebreakers, UN deserters that left their corrupted peacekeeping brethren behind to form a new faction. One that would strike down the complacent leadership of the UN, protect those in need, and face the Corporation head-on. They protect what's theirs, yet give freely to any that require aid. They protect the ones that stay within their shield through the night, keeping them inside for their own safety, and only allowing them to leave once the sun rises and shines on a new day. Not only to keep them safe from the infected masses, but to save them from the masked men that lurk in the shadows with needles and knifes. The UN was wholly unprepared to handle the epidemic that consumed the world in a matter of weeks. They were sent to where the virus originated, but they were too late to contain it. No amount of peacekeeping and global intervention could stop this. The virus circumnavigated the globe and left humanity limping and broken. The UN didn't fare much better, the chain of command was broken apart and most peacekeeping groups throughout the world were separated from each other. The first month and a half after the outbreak began in earnest was spent trying to eradicate the infected, yet any civilians were left to fend for themselves. The peacekeepers of the UN saw them as distractions from their new goal, reclaiming the planet. Eventually, tensions grew between leaders in the Chernarus group. The Non-Commissioned Officers in Primorsk gathered all of their like-minded brothers and sisters and sparked a coup. They turned on their superiors, who had become docile and complacent with how they were treating the uninfected and the Corporation, had them stand "trial," and executed them. In one fell swoop, a large amount of the UN in the camp separated to form what would become the Peacebreakers. Each and every man took a vow that day to do exactly the opposite of what the peacekeepers had been doing since the beginning of the infection. They searched for traces of corporate task forces in the southern regions of Chernarus and eventually settled in the abandoned UN facilities of Miroslavl some months after they turned on their old leaders. They began running operations to disrupt the Corporation's plans now that they had somewhere to call home. High walls separated the large compound of Miroslavl, named November-Yankee after the old UN headquarters in New York, from the rest of the world. Every day, it seemed like the Peacebreakers had their men training. The walls allowed them to train with firearms, courtyards allowed for storage and other types of training, the many tents that remained gave them plenty of room to house men, and various repurposed buildings gave them areas to plan their next moves. For months they remained in the compound, bleeding the city dry of anything it had left after the looters and marauders took their fill. Cavalry-Scouts hunted the plentiful livestock and local game. Engineers and food-biology specialists worked together to build up farms and gardens within the walls. The situation was finally ideal for them to begin working toward their true goals. More and more people gathered in the relative safety of the camp and contributed to the growing society. No longer was it just a place for the Peacebreakers to build their strength, it was a port in the figurative storm for the people of Miroslavl and the surrounding area. The camp enforced strict laws and an even stricter curfew, but the people there were safe. Thieves were sent to the gallows, while law-abiding and upstanding citizens were given opportunities to work at government positions. Some were diplomats, some decided to be simple pencil-pushers. Nearly everyone who was there to stay found some way to contribute. A year and a half was spent remaining in the compound and gathering strength. More men were needed if they were to accomplish what they were now setting out to do. In the early hours of November 8th, a small selection of soldiers and engineers set out with plentiful supplies in one of the group's few vehicles. Their objective was simple; Establish Geneva at a defensible town to prepare for reinforcements to arrive. Major Roland Pentz took his detachment first to the town of Kamenka, a coastal village that crowded along the highway. With Kamenka a barren and indefensible location that lacked the soil for planting, the Major decided to move inland somewhat to the town of Pavlovo. Pavlovo was a little hamlet in the western regions of South Zagoria, its flat ground and tight-knit design was perfect for constructing walls and towers. The essentials were tended to first, a perimeter to keep the infected out and a small patch of crops to keep the men fed. The story brings us here, at long last. With Geneva well on its way to becoming a bastion of light in the forever dark wasteland of South Zagoria, it was time to begin focusing on the prison complex to the south. Maybe. Depends on how well it runs and what the server limitations are. Not here though, on a separate website/community.

How about no. It’s a survival game. Night time is suppose to give people some time to RP the more survival things that aren’t screaming and shooting. Learn to not just initiate or firefight for one hour or so and have some relaxation around a fire I find combining both play styles is the most fun tbh. Just get a flashlight or night vision if you feel like you have to travel at night. I get that’s not everyone’s cup of tea but as a community we should try to have a little bit of everything for everyone. Not just having a majority of one thing. Diversify.

Hello staff, nice to see you! I have a few questions regarding a recent report, this one to be exact: Now before I begin I wouldn't really like to have my time wasted by a shiny red, purple or even green name reply with something completely redundant and non-constructive. We are a community after all and as a community member I would like to engage openly with our staff. If you are a member of staff who would like to respond with something that isn't constructive, at least include a meme so the members of the community who dislike me can beanz it. I'll start with the verdict. There are some parts of it, when matched with the PoVs and comments made by both parties, that do not make sense. I'll highlight them for you! - "Joah does just that by shouting "put your fucking hands up right now!". Half way through the initiation, between the word "fucking" and "hands" to be exact, NorwayRP turns around and aims his weapon at Joah. Because of this Joah, Duquesne and Pips all begin to open fire on NorwayRP ultimately ending his life." At this point I will turn your attention to two timestamps in two videos and a very low res image that do not match up with this statement: Please feel free to slow the video down to make sure what I am stating is correct. At 1:09, the timestamp, we hear the initiation. Now before that initiation is finished, more specifically between the words "hands" and "up" one of the accused shoots. Now, as mentioned in the report this was a bit hasty and since he didn't initiate anyway, was a rule break. Cool. You can further see evidence of the premature shooting in this video, timestamped for your viewing pleasure, here: I again implore you to slow down your video as this low res vomit is hard to comprehend. At 0:11 you can clearly see bullets striking the floor behind Norway before he turns. I will provide some low res screenshots from this footage just to make sure you don't miss it. Now, this is a real mess to look at. Honestly, it makes me sick. However, I have embarked on this journey and I intend on finishing it. The pictures are there to use as a little bolster to my previous mention of turning only after the attempted invalid kill. Now after the FULL clarification and picture of what happened, the moment you've all been waiting for, the questions for staff! Our brother in Valhalla, Norway, was banned for lying a report. I would ask staff to please tell me where, in his PoV, was the lie? A snippet from the verdict in question: "From the get go in this report you state that you were in full compliance until shot at." However, in Norway's PoV he clearly states this: "Having no clue who they were decided to start shifting back until I was initiated on by Joah, I was going to comply up until I was shot at which point I pulled my FAL and tried to fight back seeing as it was pretty clear they had no intention of taking me alive." So, where is lie? Saying "I was going to comply", hinting the intention of complying and then claiming he was going to provide "Full compliance" is a stretch. I personally do not see the lie. This is an issue for me and quite a lot of other people. Will I also be hit with lying a report because of a mistake from staff? Could I also be permanently banned because of a mistake not on my part but on staffs? These are all questions I have asked myself leading up to this thread. So, just to reiterate the main question here, where is the lie? Edit: @Roland Can you please direct me to where that is stated? I cannot seem to see it. I am also not report/appeal lawyering, as you can see here "This is an issue for me and quite a lot of other people. Will I also be hit with lying a report because of a mistake from staff? Could I also be permanently banned because of a mistake not on my part but on staffs? These are all questions I have asked myself leading up to this thread." I am worried about my own status on this community based on the outcome of this report

It has already been explained in the verdict? The lie is the fact that he stated in the report that he was shot first, before initiation. As seen from video (which admins have NCIS ENHANCED and analyzed thoroughly) that's not the case. I would like to remind you that "Ask staff" forum section is not for report or appeal lawyering.

I had a great time tonight with some simple roleplay, with good people in stary sobor, we had all sat down in the church and built a fire, then we cooked some food or broke bread you could say and got ready for the long night ahead, I started by reminiscing with my old Friend Dr. Red and slowly everyone told a story of how they had gotten to where they were now. Some deep thoughts were shared along with great words of wisdom. EXQUISITE Roleplay guys. I really loved it. @Craynorine @VeraBlue9669 @Rederaz

Night time is there for a reason. Same as hunger, thirst, sickness, threat of infected and wildlife, not forgetting the people around. Find a flashlight, flare, chemlight or hell. Make a torch. Travel at night, or hunker down for it. This is a survival game and an role play server. Night is part of it. If you can't navigate at night time, well. I suggest staying put or practicing it. It's easy! even without nvg's.

Yes. You cannot carry over information from one character to another. It is covered in the first point of the metagaming rule, rule 3.5.

We found 4 cheyteks in a span of 12 hours... Maybe limit certain spawns- bring up the AK spawns(since Chernarus.. eastern bloc..) and lower the spawns of other guns?

No. Just no. It's a survival game for a reason. Roleplay as you would if you were an individual in an post-apocalyptic scenario at night. You'd hunker down in a secure location with reliable people, or you'd have the appropriate gear and willing to take the risk to travel around. Frankly, I find it immersion breaking when I see players running around at night without a lightsource (or NVGs). I almost wish the night-cycle were longer.

As far as I know, night time is 1 hour long, daytime is 3 hours. You have some consecutive unlucky timing when joining the server. In my opinion its ok like this, cause I really missed night time and the eeriness of night (especially in the woods) back when server only had day time.

I'll be honest, this night time roleplay all of you talk about is news to me. All i see at night is guys sprinting at me with NVG's and robbing me.

@Saunders it's all good mate, shit happens. We had a blast playing on deer isle and are very much looking forward to the new map. Not sure if we will play the old map that much as a group seen as most of us have played it way to much, deer isle was a breath of fresh air and I enjoyed the rp that we had from the locals and exploring the landscape. To all the groups on deer isle thanks for the good time and great rp. Cavaliers loved the way your group dressed and roleplayed, yellow arm bands (sorry don't know your name as you had a lot lol) the roleplay in the meeting when our groups first met got me invested. Harry (no idea who you are) your character was so fucking funny that I could not stop laughing. @Fenrir sorry we did not get a chance to meet, I did hear about your group and was looking forward to meeting you guys. Blue armband guys what can I say... You saved my ass from hungry wolfs on day one and took me back to your place for shelter our storyline was just getting started, Gutted. Pete you are to nice lad haha don't change, we all loved your character. I know I am missing some people out and I am sorry I met so many people that I can't remember all your names. Well guess that's that. Gutted it's over but glad we did it again. Now to wait 5 years for new map haha Wish you all the best guys take care.

As others are saying, an hour of night time isn't that long. For me at least, the night allows me to have a "break" if you wanna call it that where I can just sit down somewhere and just chill with whoever I'm with. If I'm alone during the night then I'll either sit down in a building with a fire going waiting for people to come and join or go out and run in the darkness. With the way the time is set to right now, I feel like it's fine the way it is now. Maybe add an extra hour to the day shift tho
