Hassan crouches in a farmhouse as the sun begins to set, open fields behind him. He lets out a sigh as he folds up his prayer mat, and pauses. Reflecting on the day, he reaches for his radio and takes a breath, before beginning to speak as he pushes the PTT. "Hassan here. To whom it may concern...to the people I just assisted. I am truly sorry for what was experienced by the victim of the events, the actions of the perpetrator were truly unforgiveable. I am glad I was able to do what I could to tend to the affected's wounds." However, I must make clear my conscience, as I did not reveal the full truth. I knew the perpetrator. I was one of the people who lived with him at the camp we visited. We shared water, broke bread together. I helped mend his wounds when he was punished for his apparent crimes. We believed them to be slander. "Clearly, given his actions after...we were wrong. And an innocent was hurt because of it. For that, I can only apologize from my heart. It pains me deeply to see such cruelty done to a person. And to know that he was under our roof the entire time, capable of...that...it is unthinkable, unforgiveable even. Had we known that he was such a monster, we would have handed him over long ago. Bias and prejudice clouded our judgement. This will not happen again. That monster deserved everything he got. There is a special place in hell waiting for him. To the relatives of the affected, I can only ask for your forgiveness. If there is anything I personally can do to make amends, then I will do my utmost to right this wrong. Please do not hold this against my friends. They were as in the dark as I was. I am sorry. Hassan, out." He runs a hand through his hair, collapsing back to lean against the wall, exhausted and completely emotionally drained. His thoughts wander to the poor girl, her cries and the look of complete terror on her face that he knows will not leave him for a long while.

From today's experiences, I've got a bit of feedback Good: -Handled situation rather well, few mishaps here and there, but as an overall picture- it wasn't a complete failure. -Good RP with hostages, made your robbery intent pretty clear and what you are expecting from this place. -Fun to run around with and really assert dominance as a major Chernarussian faction. Bad: -Make sure you have someone RPing with the hostages at all times. We delegated 2x people to the hostages for a reason- you are only to RP with hostages unless mission critical you are needed to fight. -Be careful on shooting. Being too fast on the gun is going to end up in reports. Better play it safe and re-initiate(CLEARLY) to your victim. Overall; was fun to play with you lot, hopefully we can progress together as groups in the future and help eachother both OOC and IC.

Russia follows the convention, only not going in to recognize protocol III (new symbols) from my understanding. As nationalists you want independence for your country. As terrorists you will use any means to get that control. At the same time, why would you care that there is a hospital willing to treat everyone? A terrorist organization would have problems being able to find actual doctors willing to treat them. Especially in a country that has both worked with and is at war with your homeland. Thus you've likely been left to not having medication, proper treatment and botch jobs. a lot of your people would have suffered and be in extreme pain. Why would you want to attack and demand things of place that's actually willing to solve all of those problems for your people? Make sure you get the proper drugs and care you need for your people to not suffer. Make sure that the people whom matter to you and the people of Chernarus are taken care of. When technically they never had to do this in the first place. no one is forcing them, they're willing to take care of your people because its what they do. Yes they also take care of your enemies when wounded but that's how it works. They wont get in your way, they won't cause problems, they just want to be left alone, and in return will treat your people. Without demanding payment, something that ic is almost unheard of when everyone wants to profit. I get that you don't like the ideological concepts of the group, but at the same time they're giving you a service for free that most would not. Why would you want to give them a reason to take that away from you? You want to interact with the group do so, talk to us. You don't have to go in demanding things. We're more than happy to interact with other people and we strongly promote rp, we just don't want to deal with all of everyone else's big dicking. IRL people who are terrorists and warlords actually SEND their own people to protect these kinds of doctors. Because they know even if they go treat other people, they're willing to care for them, and that's an invaluable resource. I get wanting to fight over ideals and stuff but it makes no sense to me that everyone wants to attack the neutral group because we take care of their enemies. That's how it works, doctors take care of any wounded. All humanitarian groups do this. Even with enemies in and out, your men are being treated with just as much respect and care, which is better then they will get from nearly anywhere else. You may not agree with our ideals, but having a resource like that long term is critical to survival.

Just a little bit of a suggestion given the recent events (mainly the report) If you guys want to be neutral, which is what I've gathered from being around the area, and it's been stated a few times OOCly. Might I make a teeny tiny little suggestion? You may want to remove the "Allies and Enemies" section of your group page. If you are truly to remain a neutral group and a neutral zone you should not be listing other groups, or people, as Allies or Enemies. Granted I know you may be friendly and what not with other groups due to IC relations and that is fine I just think that section of the group page gives off the wrong idea that you are siding with these people over these people (and yes I know the enemies section is empty right now).

You actually told us to leave after someone made a joke about one of my guys being a pedo and got hostile with us when we were asking why we were being told to leave. You later took my guys hostage and held a gun to his head and "Banned" us from the compound when all we were doing was looking for Beth. Don't say you don't do something when you JUST did it, two days ago.

Thank you, the apple bong was pretty epic even though Meika is mentally. Hassan helped a lot even though she barely spoke from trauma Thanks to @Kain for the roleplay. He became that overly possessive father losing his mind and wanted to make Meika apart of his dead family.... RIP. @Genji @NateRP @Mr.Panda @CaliforniaRP @Petrovsky For finally finding Blue and comforting her even though she could only apologise because she disappointed everyone it felt. And personally felt like she broke promises. Can’t wait to see how it plays out. Hondo be changing, Aleksei being daddy for once xD Fae and David like, “Fuck...”

I don't think people are going to be following this so-called convention in the apocalypse. I don't get how you guys want this green zone yet you all play the same characters from other groups that I have had a shit ton of hostile encounters with. You also openly work with groups that are actively participating in hostilities with each other. Yet you are surprised that you guys are being singled out and attacked? Based on the attitudes of your security team and the characters you portray and past encounters I would not call it a neutral group.

Everyone in the country is angry. Everyone wants to fight each other. There is no happiness or life left in Chernarus. The event will be held in the White Raven Outpost in pulkovo On Saturday July 21 at 6pm (ADT) the party ends when there is no one left to party with. Even if the host leaves, the party must go on. Everyone is welcome. This is a neutral event. please no hostile rp whilst at the event. If you or your group has an issue with another, leave it at the gate and just have fun. Kane reclines in bed tracing his fingers over the healed gun wounds across his chest before coughing once more. He would then stare out the window as various radios in the room blared in and out with various messages before he grabbed his own radio and waited for a pause in all the chatter before pressing the button, speaking in a clear American accent. "Brotherd and Sisters of South Zagoria, I have listened to your constant bickering and fighting amongst yourselves these past few months, and frankly I'm tired of it all. But as I listen there is something I have grown even more tired of. The governing bodies of the world. They have abandoned you. They have assailed you. Forced you from your homes and, I suspect, caused this infection to begin with. They sit within their walled off cities and gas our towns, bomb our borders, and send armies to harass our people. And in spite of everything, no matter what these governments do, you have prevailed. As a country we are hardly perfect, whether a native Chernarussian protecting his homestead, or a foreigner just wanting to get by you have all prevailed. So let's acknowledge that, though we come from many different roads, speak many languages, and have many ideals, that we are all here together, surviving together. We are all, for now at least, Zagorians, and we shouldn't stand to be terrorized by men hiding in bunkers and behind walls. We shouldn't submit to cowards who'd rather further our suffering than profer aid to their own kin, who bomb our towns and threaten any who simply wish to survive. My name is Kane, and I call for a free Zagoria, no longer enslaved to the greed of men who abandoned us to our fate." He would set down his radio then and cough once more, curious if anyone even heard him or cared what he had to say.

No. I get exactly what you're talking about. But why me and my group, of nationalist insurgents, give two shits about what foreigners say in regards to their lands? Like you said, it's your compound? Of course locals are going to have an issue with that? Also, playing 'big bad boss' is a two way street. How are you going to sit here, and justify your security detail enforcing commands to people, yet when someone like my group or Svobada try to enforce commands to your group, we're powergaming? The issue is, noone want's to RP as the loser. Noone can accept loss. For example; famous TV show TWD. Negan FORCES compounds to pay a tax or else they will get attacked by his overpowered gang... sound familiar? What did Rick and the gang do? Went with it. They had no choice- they didn't look at the camera and file a report to the director that it 'isn't fair'. They delt with it. They bent the knee, kissed the ring, and played bitch for a while... That's how a scenario like this works. One group get's big and bad, people will have to fear them and do what they say- regardless of personal beliefs or not.. I don't see why this is so frowned upon by the community? And now telling a group that they are no longer allowed to associate with my groups enemies is against the rules?

I don't know what you think you saw but whatever you think you saw isn't what you saw but someone else said you saw something someone else saw. Serious feedback given everything I've seen/heard. Consider centralizing your security plans. Having other groups involved is great, but it's important to have a centralized policy, mainly for PR purposes and to keep everyone on the same page.

    1. Like Harvey said the poll looks fine to me I didn’t vote because I didn’t read the thread, but I did check who did and there’s about 150 total so it’s working as far as I can tell. 2. We always take into account what the community wants and what we think is best for it even though sometimes those aren't the same thing. I can’t comment on if I think these two things are one in the same because....well read above. 3. No meeting is planned at the current moment but that can easily change with a thread in the staff forums. 4. Best way to get Rolle to look at something is simply @ him so @Rolle 5. I wasn’t even aware of it so I can’t really say. But it seems this isn’t really so much a question as much as it’s a general complaint because we didn’t read and comment on your thread. I personally don’t check the suggestion section of the forums that much or as often as I should. So if you want my personal opinion on something it’s better to just pm me and I’ll throw a comment out on the thread when I have the time. Now, if you want to ask the admins something we have a thread for that and it’s pinned so it isn’t hard to find. Also, no one is trying to sweep anything under the rug, drop the attitude here’s the proof that it’s working from what we can see:

Hello there, 6.2 You may not use character or group story as a universal reason to initiate hostilities with other players. For example, role playing a bandit, murderer or crazy person does not grant you explicit rights to attack other players by itself, there must be other circumstances, previous history between the players or role play that leads to a situation where being hostile is warranted. This rule is holding a lot of roleplay and reasoning back to the "Care Bear RP", this rule feel like it is eating off the fact that food, weapons and resources just respawn. People will need to fight over these, even for .63 the apple glitch IS being removed from the game because the apples are going to drop around the tree and that is what you pick up. People will eventually be struggling for food just like early 2015 but without apples. I bring up "Realism" as something that is important but also Common Sense as people do bad things to survive. Adapt or die. Now I do agree that people who kill a lot of people or kill people because they are just "Crazy" should be policed OOCly as dead people can not roleplay. To the first part of the rule; "You may not use character or group story as a universal reason to initiate hostilities with other players." I think the first part character is right and should stay that way for the most part, your character background is pretty much only there to make sense on why you are there and to roleplay out mental issues/physical issues that would be hard to aquire like you've got a bum leg from a terrorist attack or something. I think "Group Story" should should change as for a group to be accepted it requires that the characters in the group make sense to be there and that the group concept itself makes sense. This part of the process is policed by loremasters and admins already for them to have their "Kill rights" so removal of dynamics should already make this a viable rule to allow groups to have reasoning to initiate such a slavers/Survivor groups that want to put RP first and not just gear. "Previous history between the players or roleplay that leads to a situations where being hostile is warranted" This rule makes no sense at all, it removes new interactions as being hostile which in fact reduces organic fear and alot of what makes the server fun. People anticipating a group finding them is scary, I don't know the last time I heard "Hey look out for the people that wear X Y and Z because they'll take the things you work hard for" anticipating RP is fun and you are always looking around looking out for the 4 people steaming towards you wearing X Y and Z. It stops people being generally a bit cautious around each other treating it like its your local neighbourhood, this is how I imagine interaction for a first or second time. Do I see why these rules have been put in place? Yes. A lot of people abused it and it wasn't getting punished but now it can be policed correctly. Bad roleplay that makes 0 sense should be punished, bad roleplay with sense should be mentored and vice versa and allowing good roleplay with logical sense should not be punished. Robbing people for a can of beans will get you 10 points and a 3 day ban if you have never met them. I've always believed anyone can roleplay what they like as long as it is A) Makes Sense B) Mature and C) Follows the only rule about what you can't roleplay. Punish those who abuse the rules instead of changing them for everyone limiting everyone because of a couple bad/inexperienced apples this is why we game masters who can access situations on a contextual bases of RP as these are roleplayers themselves. I do want @Rolle and the staff team to see this since these are the people that CAN change things. Hopefully there is a middle ground the community and staff team can work out otherwise I think .63 isn't going to change anything but the map, game mechanics and teaching new people the wrong way to go around things. Obviously things need to change and I don't have all the answers but as a community of people im 100% sure we can come to a solution if we are dedicated and passionate about change.

*a Chernarussian voice would pierce the frequency* "I'll have you know that those men who did that are not even CDF by origin, they are a militant group that has broken from the party. There are no CDF formations in existence currently in South Zagoria, but that may always change. Those men are not under the direction of a government anyway. Even if all the governments of the world were trying to kill and make designs on everybody here would still be killing each other and feuding over nothing, so if you want to look elsewhere for false orders and motives from a government that has more important concerns then do so, but get your own house in order first. Trust me sir when I say the everlasting petulance of the factions that exist here far exceeds the sinister designs of the Chernarussian or perhaps even the Russian state for this place..." *fades*

Based off what I have seen and heard the whole mod tools incoming thing is probably not going to happen this year. Bohemia wants this game to be played the way they want it to, they are not making money off it so I wouldn't expect much on that front. Base building is meh, but from the experiences I have had with base building on modded servers if we do actually get basebuilding then a lot is going to change. We won't need the ability to build pre-fab settlements like Raven's Nest. I think one thing that would help people out who do hotspots is to limit the amount of tents to one or two in one place, and just put basic stuff there to avoid the place getting wrecked.

We can have a discussion there. We didn't discount what you said about it being used as a fascist symbol we simple pointed out that this symbol like many other symbols and words in the past have been changed or modified to mean something other than the original intent. As you said though. It wasn't originally a fascist, we are using for its original meaning.

Where in the OP does it state that it's an ICBM? I used the term ICBM in my comment simply because the casual passerby will understand that better than saying 'OTR-21'. Regarding your gripe about the air force perhaps you have forgotten Major's last lore post regarding the state of Russian military structure. Several internal factions have sprung up causing lots of internal conflict that is slowly causing an implosion for the Russian military, hence why they are having to fall back and condense their forces and not waste precious men on a country such as Chernarus. Regardless, I'm sorry if reading this made you contemplate the noose. If it's really so painful to even look that, then please don't participate in the event. I wouldn't want any harm to come to anyone because of something they read on an Internet forum.

Chapter 11: Then - Part the First The safe-house was as good a place as any to escape the bustling traffic and gunfire of Severograd.... but it wasn't nearly enough. It was too close, and already people had stumbled upon their camp. Thankfully friendly people, but people nonetheless. Sometimes they would return to find their tents having been rummaged through, and their vehicles either scrapped or stolen. They hadn't found the basement stash yet, though they wouldn't be able to get inside either way. Still, it was time to go. Jeremy helped them move, made their way to a small coastal town, north of Svelojarsk. It was.... quiet, serene. Ivan liked the smell of sea air.... reminded him of home. Not New York, but before that, his home country of New Zealand. He lived in a coastal city, still remembered the days where he'd visit the beach with his friends, play in the sand, and amoungst the waves. Evelyn rolled her eyes and laughed as he dove into the water, fully clothed, warning him that he was going to catch the chills. Luckily she was kind enough to light the fire in a neary house, their own little seaside cabin. They hadn't spoken about their intimate moment in the summer camp since it had happened, and part of Ivan wondered if it even happened at all. The night they'd returned, they had gotten high on some of the cocaine down in the basement of the safe-house, and passed out against the wall. Ivan vaguely remembered her lips pressing against his cheek..... but they were both high. It was either a meaningless gesture, or a figment of his imagination.... Even still, Ivan could not shake the memory, nor the feeling radiating through his chest that came with it. As he dried by the fire and they talked, he couldn't help but notice how the orange light caught her golden hair, the way it shone.... it was like a scene out of a fucking romance film.... or some shit. Ivan's thoughts went back to Jackie Marco, Allison, Jamie. He remembered how it felt to care for them, to love them.... and to have that monster tear them from his life forever. More than anger or hatred, he felt an overwhelming sense of fear now, that he could not shake.... And the more he looked at Evelyn, the stronger that feeling grew until it threatened to overwhelm him entirely. He didn't love her. He knew that for certain. He'd gone without feeling any emotion for anyone, for fifteen years, and he'd known Evelyn for what? A week? Not even? No.... he felt, something, that was for damn sure. But it wasn't love. He was made of too harder stuff for it to be, and when he went to sleep that night, he kept that knowledge firmly in his mind, almost as a comfort, a reminder that he wouldn't need to worry about losing someone he felt THAT closely for again. The following morning..... Was the morning Ivan would always remember as the first time in over two decades, that he feared death. He woke up before Evelyn, dehydrated, and grumpy. Despite sleeping against the wall as he normally did, using his backpack to cushion his head, it was the best sleep he'd had in a while. She was still fast asleep in the rooms one bed. Knowing her past, knowing what she'd been through, he utterly refused to invade her comfort zone by sharing the mattress with her, and she made no argument to the point. He got up quietly, and made careful effort to leave the room without waking her. Of course, there was no well or clean supply of water in the small village, so Ivan was forced to walk at least a kilometer down the road to the next town to get water. He was groggy and annoyed at the fact, mentally kicking himself for not filling his canteen earlier, but at least the fresh air did some good to wake him up. Taking out the infected was virtuously effortless with his suppressed rifle, and he quickly secured the well so that he may safely drink. As he filled up the canteen, he wondered what exactly the plan was from here. They seemed to have found a safe enough place to call their own, at least for now, but for how long? He though the safe-house was secure enough, but evidently people in the wasteland liked to stray off the beaten path a lot more than he had originally anticipated. And even if they were truly safe for an extended period, what exactly were they meant to do? Sit around and watch the days go by whilst doing sweet fuck all? Having Evelyn as company was good and all, but there was only so much two people could talk about before things got.... dull. Ivan was snapped out of his thoughts by the unmistakable sound of the hammer being clicked back on a pistol. He froze in place at the sound of slow footsteps behind him. "Don't..... move.... a muscle." Came a high voice from behind him. Male, couldn't be very old by the sounds of it. Possibly a teenager? Ivan raised his hands slowly, showing he was no threat. "Easy pal. I don't want any trouble." He said in a calming, grumbling voice. "Turn around slowly." The voice ordered. He sounded far more frightened than threatening. Ivan turned his head and his upper body so he could look at the figure. He was a scrawny thing, but judging by his height, his gaunt face and light stubble, he had to be at least 19 years old.... Ivan had killed younger in his years. "Okay, no problem here." Ivan said, trying to put the boy at ease. The front of his body was still mostly facing away from the lad, his rifle still slung around his neck, resting against his chest, out of his sight. "Shut up." The boy said nervously, trying his best to be intimidating. "No talking. Just drop your backpack, your radio, and any weapons you have, then step over there." He gestured with his pistol, and with the gun pointed away from him, that was when Ivan made his move. With the reflex of someone who'd been killing for fifteen years, Ivan snapped his body around and aimed his rifle, squeezing the trigger and letting rip with a burst of automatic fire, hitting the lad center mass. However, he timed his attack a fraction of a second too slow, and by the time he pulled the trigger, the muzzle of the pistol was back on him. As he flew backwards, the boys muscles clenched, and his finger pulled the trigger. Ivan felt the bullet impact on the left side of his chest, and his eyes went wide with shock. The boy fell over backwards, dead before he hit the ground, as Ivan's legs gave way beneath him. The pain reached him a second later, and he looked down, eyes still wide. The bullet had entered his chest between his heart and his shoulder, missing the vital organ by a few inches. Judging by the pain, it hadn't exited through his back, meaning it must've stuck a rib or something and was either fragmented, or lodged inside him. Ivan swore violently as adrenaline rushed through his system. Pushing his hand firmly against the wound, he forced himself to his feet and stumbled out of the town before any infected come to investigate the noise. Or worse.... potential allies of the boy he'd just killed. He moved as fast as his weakened form would allow, stumbling haphazardly back towards the village, back towards Evelyn. His vision was blurry, pain radiated from his chest and his hand and sleeve were soaked crimson when he finally collapsed to his knees in the middle of a field, gasping for breath and desperately trying to keep himself conscious. Was this it? Was he going to die here, in a fucking field in some backwater country, shot by some stupid kid over his meager supplies? Over the pounding of his own heartbeat in his ear, he though he heard a voice call out to him, and he raised his head to see a blurry figure rapidly approaching. "Ivan!" The voice screamed, snapping him out of his state with a start. Evelyn rushed forward, grabbing him under the arms in an attempt to hold him upright. He looked at his blood-soaked hand and jacket with fear in her eyes. "Ivan! Ivan, can you hear me!?" She cried in a panicked voice. Ivan groaned but managed to nod, and grunt painfully in acknowledgement. "Ivan.... d-don't.... t-try not to move. Keep pressure on it.... just like that...." She spoke in a shaky voice. Ivan felt her move behind him, hooking her arms under his shoulders and dragging him across the ground. Ivan cried out in agony as the movement caused his wound to sear with pain, and he swore loudly as Evelyn dragged him up the incline of a hill. She moved as fast as she could, but he could tell it was taking all of her effort to move his bulky form up the hill. Eventually, she propped him up against and rock and moved back in front of him. He saw the glint of steel as she pulled his knife from the sheath at his boot, and felt her move his hand aside as she cut his jacket open, exposing the wound to the cold morning air. "Shit.... shit.... Ivan." She fumbled with her words, putting the knife aside and unslinging her pack, rummaging through it with hasty, shaking hands. She produced a stick of morphine, and pulled the cap off with her teeth, before plunging the needle into the skin just above the wound. Ivan gasped as the sensation of the drug washed over him, making his skin crawl. He shuddered and screamed again with pain, throwing his head back and accidentally hitting the back of it against the rock. He swore quietly and tilted his head to the side, feeling nauseous. He barely noticed as Evelyn pulled a pair of tweezers from a small medical bag and wiped the area around his wound with a rag. "I..... I need to get the bullet out, then I have to.... s-stitch this up." She said in a shakey voice. "The morphine will, help a bit but this is still going to hurt.... a lot." Ivan managed a pained laugh as he looked at her, his head light. "N-not the f-f-first time I've had a bullet pulled outta me." He chuckled, trying to keep a sense of humor more-so for her sake than his. Evelyn looked at him with concern and swallowed, trying to calm her nerves as she focused on his wound. The next few minutes were ranked among the slowest and most painful Ivan could remember living as she dug around the wound, trying to locate the bullet. When she found it, she realized it had fragmented into four sizable chunks, thankfully relatively close together. Ivan cursed and swore and screamed loudly as she extracted each fragment, one by one, obviously trying to keep her composure and maintain a steady hand as best she could. Ivan kept his eyes shut tight, as she removed the pieces, and stitched the wound. By the time she had finished, and he opened them again, his vision was hazy, all color seemingly have had drained from the environment. Ivan's breathing slowed as the blood ran from his chest, his eyes drooping with exhausting, wandering aimlessly to the landscape beyond. Though his eyesight was blurry, it was still a perfect view of the trees and mountains. The sun was stillquite low at this point, the warm light giving the pines an odd glow. The wind from this height was perfect. Despite the pain and discomfort, the cooling breeze was somewhat relaxing. What a perfect place to die. He thought to himself, half blinded from reality. It was oddly peaceful, and in that split second, for a moment death seemed appropriate, almost comforting. "Ivan, stay with me! Just.... just keep talking Ivan, stay with me!" It was her voice, the concern, the panic, the hurt in that voice.... that is when he felt it. Fear. Fear of dying here, fear of leaving her behind, fear of never seeing her again, never hearing her again.... never holding her again..... His breathing started to pick up, and his vision blurred further.... this time, from tears. He looked at her, her face the only clear thing he could see, and in a shuddering voice he rasped. "I.... I don't want to die Evelyn.... d-don't let me die here. I don't..... I don't want to leave you here.... I don't want to leave you alone...." Evelyn's eyes glazed over and her lips pursed as she tried to fight off tears. "Fuck.... don't you make me cry Ivan, don't you fucking dare..... I haven't cried for any man before and I'll be damned if I start now." Ivan offered he a slight, tired smile and he reached up with one, shaking hand to touch her cheek. "Then don't..... Just, bandage me up.... and get me back to the house..." She blinked away the moisture in her eyes and nodded, rummaging in her bag and pressing a clean bandage against his wound, causing him to hiss in pain. "I made a promise.... that we'd get out of this place together..... I keep.... my promises...." He looked up at her with a tired smile. "I ain't goin' nowhere."
