Link to the situation: Multiple things 1: General attitude 2: Heavy-handedness/overly strict Feedback: 1. Your general attitude and behavior as of late shows you to be out of touch with what is actually occurring on the server and in the community, and shows that you've made very irrational decisions recently as well as in the past. The first link shows that you don't understand what is actually happening on the server, which is very troublesome as you are doing things that are meant to restrict and constrain hostile RP. However, because most of the server is peaceful if not neutral, you're really just fucking over the minority of people who do play as hostile characters and bandits. Yes, this is your community and your server, but when you put forth suggestions, rule changes, etc or just make changes (especially some that have drastic effects on the RP and gameplay) without taking into account what your staff team says or what the community thinks about the idea, you are going to piss off a lot of people and push a lot of people away from the community. With our current population, this is something that cannot happen. The more people you piss off and push away, the less revenue the site has, the standard of RP lowers, and the server numbers continue to get lower. If you this community is to survive, we need to attract new players and keep our current ones. This community could not handle another tendy-wave of the same size as the first one. The second link has you saying the following "I am primarily thinking of some PvPers initiating on everyone and destroying the event". This shows that you are extremely negative against banditry or people who happen to get into PVP more than others. You believe that hostile RP would ruin everything and destroy it all, when in fact it could potentially create some interesting RP. Of course, you'd never know that because you avoid any and all hostile RP (even the potential for hostile RP) that comes your way. Hostile/bandit RP is still RP. PVP can be a byproduct of that. Nobody is ever forced into PVP. If they get initiated on, and don't comply, their death is their fault. Their life is in their own hands, unless a mistake or a rulebreak occurs. The fact that you're severely restricting hostile RP just because you don't like it, and just because you think it's a majority of the server is very worrying. If you want people to have fun in your community, you need to cater to more than just one type of RP. Thirdly, your replies on this status update also show that you have a terrible attitude towards certain playstyles and groups of people within the community. I will go more in depth on your replies and behavior in the status update and the circumstances surrounding the status update in my next bit of feedback, but for this part, I will focus on the following quote: "I am tired of that PvP banter shit that's going on currently and people treating rule 5.1 like a fucking joke". Nobody is treating rule 5.1 as a joke, as you suggest they are. This gives off the idea that you are extremely against any and all PVP. Again, nobody is forced into PVP unless a rulebreak occurs. The issue of people solely seeking out PVP is no longer as big as you think it is. The people who have abused the rules have been dealt with. You can relax with your persecution of anybody titled a PVPer now. Lastly, and I have no links for this, but people have been denied staff positions simply because of who they are friends with. I could understand if the person who was denied has shown to have a terrible attitude towards others, posts flamey or inappropriate things constantly, or any other negative things like those, but to deny someone simply because of who they are friends with is terrible. It once again shows that you have some sort of hate or focused negativity for a certain group of people. As the leader of a community, I would think that you'd want to be welcoming to everybody and remain at the very least neutral with active members of your community. Obviously you're human and have your own emotions and own opinions, but if you expect others in your community to behave well and be positive members in the community, perhaps it would be a good idea to follow the same guidelines you enforce on the members of your community. Nobody likes a hypocrite. 2. The first link of the second spoiler above shows the situation in which you permanently banned someone over them saying that they understood that what they did was a rulebreak. I understand that he did have a bit of an attitude, but permanently banning someone over some things that are so miniscule is way too heavyhanded. I did not agree with that at the time, and I still do not agree with that action. Giving them 5-10 warning points would have sufficed better, and it would have ensured that we didn't unnecessarily lose someone/multiple others from the community for something so small. The above link shows that their is a history of this behavior. The second link happened yesterday, and shows the situation in which you revoked the whitelist of someone for posting a literally harmless joke in an offtopic thread. @Boston Basher posted the following: "PVP > RP". This was posted in a thread titled "Unpopular opinions". Seeing as how the thread was in the offtopic section, the standards for warnings in that section is more lax. Likewise, other posts in the thread were humorous and clearly jokes. Posting a joke about enjoying PVP over RP was on the same level as the previous posts in the thread. Even if the statement was a fully serious one, stating that you enjoy PVP more than RP, revoking somebody's whitelist over that is so tyrannical and stupid that it is dumbfounding. The following links (1, 2, 3) show you taking it completely seriously and massively blowing things out of proportion. I know for a fact that what he said was no worth any sort of punishment. If anybody else but you had looked at the post, the same outcome would not have occurred. These are just some of the examples of you blowing things out of proportion or responding in disproportionate ways. I already stated above that the more things you do to piss off members in your community, the more it hurts the community and the worse it will be. You need to be careful with your actions and behavior, or else another chicken tendy wave WILL happen again. The whole tendy wave began after Echo received arguably unjustified points for a picture of a chicken nugget that was in the shape of a penis. Of course, some of the behaviors he showed along with his friends afterwards were not appropriate, however, that is not the point. Giving out unjust warnings and permabanning people for bullshit reasons will piss off a lot of people, and rightfully so. Nobody likes to feel like they were wronged, and when it happens multiple times, or it's shown that it happens many times to other people that they care about, they're going to react in terrible ways. Unless you want another tendy wave to happen, please follow my suggestions below. Suggestions for improvement: Take a backseat when it comes to running the community. Take care of everything else outside of implementing and enforcing rules, and allow the many staff members that have been recruited for the sole purpose of running the community for you, do their job. Everybody panics when you say "I got this". That is not a good sign. That shows that you are unpredictable and have a short fuse. Your actions are hurting the community, but you don't seem to realize that. The community is better and runs more smoothly when you are inactive, so please for the sake of the community, let your staff team do the task that they are here to do in the first place. Calling @Rolle for his POV. Please provide any video evidence you have.

Well the last 6 months have been a roller coaster ride. I've had ups and downs and highs and lows. I have gotten to work with and help a great deal of folks and take part in some pretty neat stuff. I don't want anybody to think that I was kicked or anything like that. Just can't continue to justify spending an inordinate amount of time here when I could be out doing things that I enjoy a lot more. Recently got a new truck and have made a lot of new friends at college and I'd rather spend time hiking, fishing, or off-roading. Too much negativity, toxicity, and petty drama here to stick around. There is probably more drama here then in my work and school combined. That being said I don't have any gripes with anybody or beef at all. I have gotten a lot of support despite the fact that I have been able to get around to not even half of what I planned and I made the mistake of promising things I couldn't deliver and not following through like I should. With class, work, and family it's just too much time to spend on the internet. Finals are also coming up and I need to finish this semester strong. I start aviation lessons in December so I can be a private pilot. @Jamie - Thank you for all our talks and time spent helping me out. You received me and got me into staff and for that I am grateful. You have always been somebody I felt I could go to to talk about whatever I needed help on. Keep it real brother. @Papa Tachanka - You are a fucking rock and this community is a lesser place without you. I miss our conversations we would have everyday about Lore and life in general. You are the hero this place needs but doesn't deserve. I plan on spending a lot more time chilling in your neck of the woods and playing games with you guys. @Rory - Thanks for the memes. Don't force yourself to do anything you don't enjoy. @Zero - You are a solid dude, keep your chin up and don't forget it's just a game. @Sleepyhead - Enjoyed the banter in TS and the kind words. @PCJames - Looking forward to playing other games and hanging out. Thanks for your time in CR bro. @Boston - Great guy, looking forward to hanging out IRL maybe. You have to buy dinner though. @Iso - You are a champ and one of the most authentic folks I have known on here. Don't stop. @Hebi Kotei - Keep triggering the cucks and move to Murica' while you are at it. @Joffrey - Keep up what you are doing. We need more folks like you. I haven't mentioned a thousand people, but you guys know who you are. Deuces. "Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present."

Hello folks! in the past few months I have rolled around with a ton of bandits, and seen great rp and bad rp. I know a few of my bandit friends are upset that non-bandit rp'ers are upset at getting robbed, and my bandit friends respond "There needs to be robbery and bad guys or the server will be stale!!!!" And.. they are correct. However; This^^^^ situation is what is presented to the non-bandit rp'ers at LEAST 40% of the time. Literal minutes of silence, while being told to stand in a circle and wait. And the only reason or build-up to the way of "Why was I robbed" is met with the most, boring.. stale... and awful basic beech Arr' P. After moments of silence.. the hostages self RP as nothing is being said by the folks who are running the show.. only then are they interrupted by the hostage taker ..to tell them " you are all going to die.. unless this stranger commits suicide in front of you". What the actual fuck? Now.. I will admit this story line of suicide jargon could be a really cool scenario with the proper build-up and hostage interactions.. but to just straight up, out of the blue say " Kill urself or all these pplz diez" .. I dunno man... This is why folks hate getting robbed. It isn't fun for the hostages, its just a weird... gathering of silent people. I don't mean to particular pick on the chaps listed here in the video... because I have seen this type of "Hostile roleplay" alot this year, and it's pissing folks off. Bandits, step up your game, because this is boring... and it's stupid. Get at me on TS if you'd like a full debate on the subject.

I had been in que since my disconnect log prior to the one above and it took quite a while. In the time I was in que I fed my dogs, let them out after they ate, refilled all of their water dishes, took a picture of the of them (Which I will include below), played fetch with them, returned to my computer played some dnd, tabbed into the game to see if I had gotten through the que yet, saw I was dead. Ground Zero - Place of Interest In the first month of the Outbreak survivors were occupied their daily struggle of finding food, safety, and some peace of mind in South Zagoria, generally forgetting or disregarding the place where the entire crisis had started. Some traveled into the base to search for supplies and anything left behind by the military forces that had manned the base before it was bombed. Many were smart and wore protective clothing and gas masks, others were either unaware or ignorant of the biological dangers of the site and went in unprotected. Some got lucky and some got sick, but most others just figured they had gotten bitten or exposed somehow. As the forces of the Russian Federation pulled out of the province and the CDF remnants were ordered out of the province, survivors left Chernogorsk and headed north to Severograd, a town which provided a fairly centralized location for commerce and hearing about the goings-on of the area. Apart from the occasional rumble from Tisy or the occasional Chernarussian Air Force jet high up in the sky, everything seemed normal. Aside from the amount of buildings that had been destroyed by Russian artillery the north Severograd countryside was almost picturesque. While downtown Severograd had mostly been spared, outlying areas were marked with destroyed houses and barns, a testament to the Russian attempt to distract the public from the epidemic that would soon grip the province and the world beyond. The civilians in the area had been evacuated or fled to Miroslavl, leaving behind ancestral homesteads and lands to rot. Cows and farm animals grazed at will in the countryside, and the frequent call of wolves in the forests to the north were a reminder of the dangers of travel as the summer months winded down and the temperature cooled down and the leaves began to change colour. The Kamensk Military Base was visited by forces of the UN in an attempt to discover more about the origins of the Outbreak. The former base of the 34th Engineer Company and the 176th "Gorka" Battalion was a shadow of its former self following the Russian bombing and the dispersal of the CDF from the base and the greater area. Most of the buildings present at the base had been in abysmal condition even before the Outbreak, most of which were leveled during the bombing. Tents set up by the military forces deployed to the site had mostly been looted or removed of valuables, and any documents or papers that could be used to deduce what had transpired there had conspicuously disappeared. The only real clue to what had happened being a pit down the hill to the south east of the base. A concrete slab punctuated by a small opening covered with a steel grate were apparent, but a look below the surface revealed a pile of bodies and a pipe that spanned the horrific pit, along with what appeared to be a shed jutting out of the side of the structure. The pipe had at one point been breached, with a jagged outline that showed where it had been. Since then it had been welded shut from the inside, and whoever had sealed the exposed pipe had conducted the job in a rushed manner among the pile of rapidly decaying carcasses that show evidence of being executed or subject to the blast of a grenade. The radiation level at the mysterious base is unusually high, not enough to be immediately dangerous, but enough to discourage anybody who knows about it to keep their path narrow and the duration of their visit brief. Beyond this, the level of biological contamination is far more of a threat to humans then the radiation. And as if that isn't enough, roaming packs of wolves make any trip to the site dangerous before one even reaches it. The feeling that you are being watched permeates the whole facility, making one uneasy as they tread through the area on their travels. In short, the location is a place full of questions and danger with few answers to offer up for the risk. //This thread meant to announce Ground Zero as a biologically contaminated site that would require sufficient protective gear and a gas mask to access safely. Those who don't would probably get sick dependant on where they went inside the base (pit, destroyed buildings, etc). It could also be considered bad rp to visit the site without the necessary protective gear and to play it off as if you were unaffected or safe from exposure. Everything that has been mentioned in this post can reasonably be seen by everybody IG, with the only small exception being the outline where the pipe has been welded shut from the inside. More will be done with Ground Zero in the future with the advent of hazmat suits in .63 (keep an eye on Tisy too) and as we start doing events in the area, many of which will be unannounced and dynamic which are directly related to the site. The radiation is just high enough to be suspicious but not really enough to do damage, the biological contamination is what will kill you.

There's a real issue that seems to be plaguing our server lately. It's always been a part of the community, but with our consistently active playerbase shrinking by ~50%-75% on March 1st, this issue seems to have been magnified. Of course, everybody is going to enjoy different types of roleplay, and playstyles, but the mindset that they're somehow better than another person just because of the RP they enjoy/playstyle they play is toxic as fuck and is killing our server. It drives a huge wedge between members of the community, and it needs to stop. I'm not sure how to stop it, and I'm not suggesting any solutions, because this issue is much more complex than it may seem. However, I know for a fact that it will take everybody to make things better. There has always been a split between campfire RPers and RPVPers, and there has always been a sense of elitism on both sides. However, as I stated above, it seems to have been magnified since March 1st. PVPers are seen as scum of the community just because they rob people and get into firefights. Now, there are obviously some bad apples out there that ruin things for everybody, but just because there are those few assholes who have to abuse things, that doesn't mean PVPers should be stereotyped as terrible RPers who are only on the server to find PVP. This attitude towards PVPers can be seen both in game and on the forums. There have been many many times where either my friends and I, or another person I know, has been berated or insulted on an OOC level just because the person getting robbed is upset at the loss of their things. I've personally seen comments like the following from this report: 08:50:39 : Direct: Axel Griffin: //you have to emote you aids rping fucks jesus meta gaming, and now this jfc 08:50:44 : Direct: Dusty Mayfire: //stop ooc 08:50:51 : Direct: Axel Griffin: //stop breaking rules 08:51:15 : Direct: Axel Griffin: //dont break rules and i wont have to morons Or also things that are said directly to me/my friends, whether it be on the forums or in teamspeak. These don't necessarily have anything to do with PVP vs Campfire RP, but it shows that people lose control and allow themselves to act like an asshole over things that don't matter: Regarding things I've heard said about campfire RPers, I don't really have many examples to go on as I have not been a campfire RPer for at least 2 years now. However, what I have heard from other people, or even have heard myself said, are that campfire RPers are pussies that hide from everybody else or that they're piles of salt or that so-and-so is a whiteknight, or comments along those lines. Personally, I don't have a problem with campfire RP; my only issues lies with people who purposely hide away from other people and only internal RP, or people who avoid RP hotspots because it's 'dirty' or whatever. Now, both sides are guilty of elitism and OOC hate for the other side, and both are at fault for it. However, this is not something that can be easily solved. It will take everybody changing their mindset and being more open minded to make things better in our community. After all, we're all here to have fun and to create interesting stories, but this can be hindered when people allow themselves to get heated or upset over the tiniest things. Like I said, there's nothing that can really be done, besides everybody in the community opening their mind more and just being more chill in general. There is also the issue of people avoiding RP hotspots or hubs just because they think they're better than the RP that goes on there, or that avoid it because they don't want to ever experience bad RP. There is also an issue of people hiding away and only internal RPing with each other, and who completely avoid anybody that is not in their group. My issue lies with these types of people. I am not against internal RP, I am against people who purposely try to avoid anybody else for whatever reason. I've heard comments like "That type of RP belongs in Cherno!" and things along those lines. People calling the triangle, and more recently Cherno, cancer because the majority of reports are centered in that area. Like yeah, bad RP would happen there sometimes, but that happens when new people roleplay, or when somebody makes a mistake. Just because there might be a chance of bad RP happening, or because a majority of reports center around an area, doesn't mean people should just avoid it. That type of thinking is killing the server. Without an RP hub, or a place for people to go to RP with each other, it's just a bunch of people running around, searching town after town to find people to RP with. That's not fun. Just did it for an hour and a half. Ran from Elektro to Novaya Petrovka, and even over towards Severograd. Found literally nobody the entire time. Like I said, that's not fun. We're all here to RP with each other. Yes, bad RP can occur, but people shouldn't hide themselves away from everyone else just because they don't want to potentially experience bad RP, or because they're afraid of being robbed. When people hide themselves away, or avoid an area like it's the plague just because it's a popular area, it can and does kill a server. People come here to RP with other people. When they can't find anybody to RP with, it's not fun, and they're likely to not want to play on the server. That is how I am personally feeling lately. I don't have motivation to get in game, because it is difficult to find other people to RP with. I know for a fact that there are others out there who feel the same as I do. The idea that hiding away from people is better than RPing with others seems to be a relatively new idea. As far as I can remember, this was not an issue back in 2015. Green Mountain was always popular, as well as Zelenogorsk, Vybor/VMC, the airfield, Stary, Novy. Then there were times that Dolina was popular, and then the prison island, and then eventually the RP hub moved to Kabanino. It seems like the mindset of hiding from everybody stemmed from something during the time Kabanino became popular. I don't know why some people feel inclined to do so, but it's not a good mindset and will kill the community and server, unless our server populations rise again or unless that type of thinking is done away with. I'm not saying that people who do that are bad people or bad at RPing, but it is not a good mindset to have if we want the server to remain populated, and if we want our community to continue being about having fun and creating cool stories with each other. I'm also not saying that everybody should be at the RP hub 24 hours, 7 days a week. I just think that people need to get out of their comfort zones more often. Maybe that would keep the servers alive. Anyways, these are all my opinions. I am not trying to throw shade and flame people or a certain playstyle, and I am sorry if it came across that way. I am also not looking to get into arguments, and I would like it if other people could avoid flaming or flamebaiting each other, but that might be too much to wish for. What I would like to do, is create a discussion where we can all share our opinions and potentially open the eyes of people that were unaware of this issue.

This is the first time the staff team has ever heard of this excuse. We have decided to test your theory ourselves. @Chewy and I went ingame and found a paintable weapon, Chewy (Character name: Caitlyn Myers) painted it and then handed me the gun. I proceeded to shoot her with it. According to your theory, the hitlog shouldn't show that I (Character name: Lexa Skyette) shot her. Below you can find the hitlog regarding our experiment: Below is the video of the experiment: @nicvin49, We have 2 questions for you: Would you like to edit your point of view to what actually happened? Do you have video evidence?

Link to the source of punishment (report/post): Why the verdict is not fair: Regarding the wording of the initial verdict, I found it unclear and had I had to speak to multiple admins about it. I felt the verdict should have been individual based, not everyone thrown under the same rug to say. It would have been way easier for everyone receiving the punishment to have their own personal verdict on what they have done wrong. There is a mention of history being brought in. If my record was thoroughly looked through it will show that majority of them warning were cautions and bans that were appealed my most recent punishment before final was in the process of appealing so for some information on that I will post a link. Now I'm adding this in purely for context to regarding my roleplay as a whole to show that justifications regarding that report that led to me getting a guilty verdict for bad RP and to show my true intentions about it. link Additional statements/comments explaining your point of view: Now onto my wrongdoings here in the community. In the past, I have made mistakes that range from Miss IDs to posting some dudes profile in chat. Now I'm gonna put it out there right I've made some stupid mistakes that I have now learned from. but regarding on how I got put on finale now that was me acting immature towards my friend getting permabanned his name was TheProxJack so I changed my name to the TheProxLouie Now I'll put up my hands and say yeah I was taking the piss but then again ya know it was one of my buds that I won't be able to play with here again so I was in a mood at the time. I also tried to get him to delay a report so his points would expire resulting in him not getting banned. The only reason I did that was to try and keep my friend here because the end of the day I just wanted to play here with my friends and have fun. But then again It was his own fault that he was going to get banned over his points building up. looking back on that yeah that was scummy as fuck the reports we have been involved in was on something the other player dissatisfaction. Like I get it ya know we take the time out of our day to go play the game have a bit of fun and we don't want some random dude walking over breaking a shit ton of rules ruining their experience. Now onto the threats of us gonna chicken tendie like I get it I'm in no position here to argue about it but this has to been taking into consideration that we are in a private Teamspeak channel me and my friends say stupid shit towards each other and in general what we say there doesn't mean we are actually going to do it none of the lads wanted to tendie that was just having a laugh it may not sound like that but that is our sense of humor and how we act we were all just comfortable with each other and would say anything. Now there was this kid in our channel who was streaming now he never notified us that he was streaming so that was kinda awkward as fuck when we found out but yeah thats on us. What would you like to achieve with this appeal: To be taken off final. What could you have done better?: Act mature towards serious situations and generally think before doing something. I'm going to add a bit down here regarding my time here on final. So when the final hit most of my friends were displeased with was going on so they jumped ship so only a few of us was left playing I went off did my own thing for a bit brought back my character Louie and then eventually joined a group called The Black Fangs now when I got into that group I was having a solid experience met some cool roleplayers and we went around did our thing I don't think I was involved in a report once with these boys. I have had great encounters ever since so yeah Ingame I have been a good boy ya know so now regarding my activity around Teamspeak and the website I ain't the most frequent person to post on the general discussion threads or anything like that I prefer to speak to someone on Teamspeak If there is something important to be said. A few times I would go into Teamspeak hear that some lads are having a few issues and help them out. I have also spoken to the admins about issues people are having and try help out with it. A couple of times I would see a report that somebody who is new to the community wouldn't understand something about the rules and I would either shoot them a PM or post a status update explaining things to them. Now I'm not saying I did these things just to get off final sure in fact I've always approached people and tried to help them prior but then again the bad shit I did outweighs the good shit ya know. But yeah end of the day we all come here to play a game and have a laugh so yeah I have changed my mindset on how I do things here now and I would personally like to apologize to anybody affected by the mistakes I made. If you need an explanation on anything else feel free to question me on it.

We don't need a picture of your neighbor. I honestly don't give a fuck about your neighbor or if you think they are retarded. To be clear here, you are not calling your neighbor sub human or anything else of that nature, cause like I said, I don't give a fuck about your neighbor unless they are a member of this community. What you said, verbatim was What that indicates to someone reading it is that your thoughts about what is subhuman is not your neighbor but actually transgendered people. What I also find interesting is that wasn't your original post, as it originally ended at What you did there was turn this into something that alienated no one and showed your displeasure as a parent of what your kids might have to see to alienating members of this community that are transgender. Had you left it the way you wrote it the first time, thoughts of points would have been much more hesitant and who knows if it would have even occurred. Outcome: Appeal Denied; These points are not here to stifle whatever notion of free speech or to tell you what you should do with your kids, but keep the hateful shit to yourself.

"Killed one" - Alexander Dukov 2017 The story of PAU started with the civilian uprising and riots that happened prior to the Donetsk War in 2014. The organization started off as a civilian rebel group who were noticing the sudden pro-Russian split in the Ukrainian government. Led by a retired Ukrainian army Captain, Adrian Turov, and other retired military personnel the group shifted over from protesting in relative peace as a civilian group to forming a paramilitary force, mostly made up of either ex-Ukrainian military members or active soldiers in the army who were displeased with the way the Government was handling the unlawful Russian stealth invasion of their country. Anticipating the start of a civil war in early 2014 the Rebels found it imperative that all their members have proper firearms training and tactical knowledge so that they could partake in the defense of their homeland. Using their contacts in the 79th Special Brigade, Adrian and the leaders of PAU got in contact with the people from the “Zbroyar” factory who were able to supply a sufficient number of small arms that helped in the formation of the paramilitary wing of PAU. With the rise of pro-Russian and anti-government groups and the annexation of Crimea in the March of 2014 it was obvious that the Ukrainian government and military were helpless. The rebels initially aided the government forces in the fighting that took place in Donbass but after suffering losses and not being able to regain the lost ground it was apparent that their governments way of fighting this war was not the winning one. Shortly after the Rebels took on a more radical approach of dealing with the pro-Russian military forces who were now unlawfully occupying Ukrainian territory. Due to the fact that the anti-government groups were receiving high end military equipment, training and monetary support from Russia the rebels could not fight them openly or in great numbers so they resorted to covert hit and run tactics which would weaken the russian supply lines. The ambush squads consisted of up to 20 experienced men who could be in and out of situations much quicker than a larger force could, enabling them to take the enemy by surprise and reduce the number of casualties suffered. Not only were the russian supplies being stopped but they provided the much needed firepower that the Rebels didn’t have access to which in turn strengthened their ranks. With their growing influence and the obvious impact that their actions were having on the invading forces the group started gaining more experienced ex-military members who disagreed with the way their government was running the defense of Donbass. Most of the members came from the 79th Air Assault Brigade led by Lieutenant Ilya Sokolov who served in the Ukrainian army with the PAU’s upper echelon before their departure. With their numbers now reinvigorated PAU set off on a number of operations whose goal was to secure several small towns and villages around the towns of Donetsk and Horlivka. Due to the proximity of pro-Russian forces in the Donetsk Oblast the fighting in the surrounding towns proved difficult. After suffering losses in an operation that involved the fortified town of Kostyantynivka the Rebels were running low on much needed equipment and men. It was decided in June 2016 that a storage facility in the outskirts of Kramatorsk will be assaulted in order to regain the loss of valuable equipment, this was to be one of the biggest assaults that the Rebels would undertake. The operation proved to be disastrous for the PAU as unbeknownst to them the Russians had infiltrated their ranks as early as August 2014 who had fed the pro-Russians with information on the assault plans on the Kramatorsk facility. After suffering great losses it was decided that they cannot continue their fight in Ukraine as they had no idea how many of their members were snaking out information about their operations to their opposition. With the remaining forces that were left the fall back plan was initiated to vacate the country in order to reasses their numbers and to resupply the forces. Adrian Turov and the leaders of PAU got in contact with their old friends from NAPA who supported their cause since their inception. Ludek Menciek, the ex- leader of NAPA, secured transportation and safe passage for the remaining PAU forces from Ukraine through Romania and Bulgaria and into Turkey. Whilst in transit Ludek informed Adrian of the infection that was going on as well as the invasion into South Zagoria by the Russian Armed Forces.Once in Turkey the Rebels made their way to a location just South West of the town of Hopa where they boarded the fishing boats that Ludek had prepared for them which would then transport them into South Zagoria. Upon arrival into Chernarus Adrian and the men vowed to never be deceived by infiltrators and foreign spies that wished to sabotage their cause. Their recruitment tactics changed completely and became much more rigorous, mostly gathering like minded individuals who supported what they were doing, unfortunately due to their low numbers they had to look for outside sources of men who could hold their ground. This is what sparked the forming of PAU’s foreign legion led by Chabu Doewski. Ah, yes. The almighty Shiro. I was expecting this, but was hoping you would be mature about the situation. From my understanding the group rights were obtained by my friend Matt in 2015 from another individual from when he owned it. Myself as well as others pretty much led the group ourselves and changed the lore because we didn't agree with you power-gaming yourself into not only the Aegis lore (making it all centered around you), but also the entire community lore. According to the story I was told by Matt, he got drunk one night and you convinced him to hand the rights over. He did, didn't remember it the next morning but by then it was too late. You kicked all of us out of the group then told me as well as others that we couldn't play as the characters WE developed, that WE created stories with, and the characters that OTHERS enjoyed role-playing with. I am not certain but I think you even THREATENED to report us over it. After that you just archived the group. You complain, complain, complain all the time about how people don't like you or seem to not want to play with you and this is exactly why. You treat people like trash my dood. We developed the group in 2015 and had fun times with it, but you were no where to be seen. Out of no where you come out, essentially steal the group we developed during that time, and said "Fuck you all", then you left the community and didn't return for a year! I even messaged @Rolle about the issue and I believe he was willing to step in, but I dropped it because to be frank, I stopped caring and moved on. I then messaged him again recently and he said it was okay for me to make the group as I was a part of it in 2015, the last time it was active. By the way Shiro, the group itself I enjoyed playing, but stop trying to make it out as some ultra-original idea. It's pretty much an Umbrella Corporation reskin, all you did was replace the names Umbrealla Corp with Aegis Corp, originally you didn't even bother changing the character names, you just kept the old RE ones. I actually am planning on going back and revamping the lore entirely in an attempt to make it a bit more original. If you have anything further to say, please private message me.

It's peaceful according to you. If it was peaceful I wouldn't be receiving multiple PM every week with complaints about groups or PvPers along with recorded videos of their bullshit. Players hubs like Pub wouldn't have to relocate due to constant attacks and griefing. Reports are still being posted at the same rate as before considering the number of players we have daily. How exactly am I not understanding what is happening on the server, I have proof in form of countless videos from reports section to back it up while you just have your personal opinion. And I am not here to restrict and constrain hostile RP. As I explained in this post just 2 days ago, I don't have problem with hostile RP, I have a problem with PvPers. These are completely different things in my book and it is clear that some people in this community do not see the difference, they think they are doing hostile RP, but what they're really doing is just run around and initiate on people or get in firefights. Damn right it's my community and the rules I set are always for the betterment of role play, never for PvP. So it's natural that PvPers will be pissed off and pushed away, in fact I count on it, because this community is not for PvPers. It's the entire point of introducing these rules - it's not to restrict the legitimate role players, it's to restrict and get rid of PvPers. It should be a pretty obvious thing I think considering the name of this community. I haven't really hidden the fact that I was more than satisfied to see large part of people who left during chicken tendie be gone, they caused a fuckton of issues in this community. Sure, there were some good people too whom I was sad to see go, but majority were just PvPers. So please, stop with the doomsday predictions, it's getting old. These "DayZRP is dying if you don't change now" has been going on since 2012 and during chicken tendie as well about how the community will fall without their awesome bandit PvPRP and as we know absolutely nothing has happened. In fact, I'd say the standard of RP has only increased. This community can handle many, many PvPer cleansings to come. What you don't see is the true role players who share my values are more than delighted to see the PvPers gone, but won't express it publicly as I do as they don't hold the position of power like me and they would be bullied and ridiculed for their opinion by the "bois". Again, it is not big as I think it is according to you. Everything else like PMs I receive, conversations in staff, reports posted, videos uploaded show a completely different story, so I cannot take your word on this. And again, I want to remind you that hostile RP does not equal PvPing. Genuine hostile RPers should have absolutely no issues with the changes being made as they rarely if ever get in reports unless the victim is salty about something. What are you talking about? I think I treat all members who follow our rules equally. What does expectation for people to behave well in this community has to do with whom me and my admin team chooses as new staff members? Choosing people who enter our team has nothing to do with equality. We choose people who we think are reliable and a good fit for the team. If your friends list consists of 50% of permabanned players then obviously you are not a reliable choice as we cannot trust you with internal staff information, your connections and the risk of leaks is just too great, regardless of how good roleplayers you might be. I don't see how that is being a hypocrite. This point kind of sounds similar to what happened during the PR Manager recruitment controversy (people questioned why someone was promoted to that rank). If I wanted to recruit 50 new completely unknown people into staff to handle DayZRP things I could. Who gets added to the staff is none of the concern of regular members - that is handled by admin team and me and stays there. We don't have to explain or justify our choices. You are free to disagree with the choices we make or criticize that staff members work, but our choice who to recruit is ours only. Why would we want someone like that in our community? He clearly didn't give a crap about anything that we stand for and has already broken one of our major rules, now he was doing it purposefully again. Giving 5-10 warning points and then what, wait for him to go on KoS spree and destroy someones RP? This is perfect example why we have rule 4 - if me or the admins see that someone is unfit or unwilling to role play in this community - they will be removed at moments notice without questions asked. It is not heavy handed, it is damage control before it reaches genuine role players in game whom we are here to protect. This community is for RP, not PvP. Someone who enjoys PvP more than RP has no place here, there are hundreds of public servers for that. We are not and have never have been a community for everyone and I have never claimed it to be as such. We specifically ONLY want people who want to focus on RP and not PvP. Once again (third time now?), note the difference between hostile RP and PvPing. If your priorities lay in PvPing then this is not a community for you. That's why saying things like Boston did on our forums is in direct violation of the core values or principles of this community, and since Boston didn't include any indications that his post is a joke, I as an administrator must take action. I will not risk someone disturbing ongoing RP with their PvP because "it was just a joke on the forums". It's called preventive action through rule 4 and it's similar how if someone posts a status update "going on kos spree brb", it will get you banned from the servers, joke or not. It may be obvious to you that this was not worth of any sort of punishment, but then again you are not administrator with the power of rule 4 whose duty is to remove unsuitable players at moments notice. You may think joking about breaking the rules in this community is funny shit, I do not think so because it affects MY players and MY community negatively and I as an owner have a strong commitment and desire to keep this community for role play and role players only. All warnings and bans issued are legitimate. They have a backing in our community rules or community principles. All bans and warnings are done on case to case basis depending on the situation. They are not meant to be justified by referencing to another similar case, they are not comparable. Besides that, Dusty please. "Some of the behaviors were not appropriate"? Cmon, let's name things as they are. The chicken tendie was a bunch of immature kids, PvPers and banter bois throwing a fit with hitler pics because when one of them broke the rules for the Nth time they expected getting smacked on the wrist with 3 points as usual and what they got instead was the hammer. They feel they were wronged? Well of course, they kept pushing the boundaries and breaking the rules, so they got thrown out, of course they feel wronged. I absolutely expect another banwave to happen because I know that we still have quite a few PvPers left in the community who do not care about RP at all and just want to initiate on role playing nerds, am I right? Whether they leave on their own through another staff suicide or I remove them remains to be seen. As you probably have guessed from reading this far, we will have to agree to disagree. I have to act the way I do because the staff team usually wants to avoid confrontation and controversy that results in drama or they do not feel like they have the power or authority behind them to enforce the rules to the level that they perhaps would want to. I on the other hand after 5 years of running this community am used to people hating me for and creating drama surrounding my decisions, directness and swift actions. My actions are hurting the people focused on PvP, just like intended, not the role playing players or the community that I created this place for. Regular role players should only feel improvements when they are exposed to less bullshit robberies, unjustified kills, receive hostile RP that is fair-play and are stopped being taken advantage of. Also a small correction - staff members do not run the community FOR ME, they do it for the community. I do not sign a contract with them, nor do I pay them and we only take volunteers. Those who show dedication, share the same opinion about our core values and have the right mindset are given a chance to have a large role in how the community functions by becoming a GM or Admin. Thanks for the feedback though, it confirms my understanding that there are still many people in this role playing community (just look at these BeanZ! ) who want this to be more of a no-KoS server with limited to no rules about RP, rather than a protected sanctuary of genuine role play. And I'm sorry if I made any typos, written fast before bed. Also I still love you Dusty, you're my favorite hostile RPer and I very much enjoy different viewpoints from you when discussing reports, no hard feelings.

Link to the source of punishment (report/post): Why the verdict is not fair: These were the reasons given for the points. I did not bully anyone, I did not troll harass anyone, in fact the only person that I even insulted is my retarded neighbor. As a parent there are things that you want your kids to see and certain things you don't. A dude with a dick wearing dresses and stuffing hormones down his face is not something that most parents would want their kids to see. This is why, as per the previous post I stated I would do this if it had no repercussions. And I went on to explain that. I don't want people to think that I just want to kill people for no reason that would be edgy as fuck. Additional statements/comments explaining your point of view: Here just in case any of you are wondering here is a picture of my neighbor, try explaining that to a three year old when she asks why that man is wearing a dress and high heels when he goes out. What would you like to achieve with this appeal: Points removed What could you have done better?: Choose a better place to live.

Yeah, I'm leaving staff. Due to unfortunately circumstances that occurred yesterday, I received a staff strike. On top of motivational issues and other things, I've decided that this it's the best course of action. I wasn't contributing all that much compared to before, but it's been a cool ride. I've made loads of friends, had some awesome discussions with people, it's been eventful. I joined back in October 19th, so that makes it nearly 2 years. Sucks I didn't wait out the 2 months. But yeah, I'm not so good at these threads, so I'm gonna chuck a few names of people that are sick af that I met in staff. @Conor You and Shark brought me in, and I was pretty buzzed. I guess you're a cool guy. @Terra You were the scary ass German bitch that frightened me. Staff needs someone like that. <3 @roman - I like gary, he's a cool rapper. @Randle I thought you were a cunt when you first joined staff, but you're a chill guy now. Much love. @Kanen You were just salty because I got promoted first. <3 @Storm You post and I'll move. @Bunny GM buddy <3 @jannik I enjoyed working with you, but you can't write for shit. @Ellie Dirty shitposter. @Clumsy We had our ups and downs, but you're chill af. @Spartan @spartan @Dusty don't let it die out @wendsill You were cool to work with, but you went a little mad. RIP. @Defiance I'm sorry I didn't play siege with you. @Pussy You'll get that spot, dw. @Ron lesbian @go fish I miss u @Stagsview You're a cunt. @Alex you're just a banter boy. @Hebee Teach me the ways. @Brady You'll have to beg someone else to come back. @Major Hold the LM team. I'll chuck a few more names here since I'm lazy. @Castiel @William @Undead @Iso @DickSlide @Jade@Mexi@Para @Shane I probably missed some people. You know who you are anyway. Just some general staff feedback. Don't be robots. I'm still gonna be around, this thread is purely for leaving staff. the game edit: I didn't paste the last bit. I love you guys @Oliv @Lyca @Ender @Aiko, good luck with the team.

Evening all, As of 4:10 PM EST, I was made aware that I was being removed from staff because of a breach of terms of service. I cannot specify what I did, however, I'm sure it will come to light because of hearsay. I want to use this thread to offer feedback to the remaining staff members, regardless of whether or not they want to take it. If you have 'No Opinion' next to your name, then it is likely that we did not work often enough together for me to form an opinion on you. @Rolle - I respect your decision to remove me. To make an exception for me would mean making an exception for all, however, the staff team is not the only thing that needs to be checked in on from time to time. This community, needless to say, is dying. We went from four servers with active PR and a staff team filled with active and ready to work people, to now one server that rarely maxes out on weekends and a bunch of OOC Salt on the forums. I know for a fact that my opinion immediately counts for less now that I'm not under any sort of rank or badge, but regardless, I'd love to see this place flourish again, and I'd love to see the feared leader of the forums actually become a part of it again. Make DayZRP Great Again was the start, but it was never finished. @JimRP - In your own time, get back to doing PR for this place. Between you and the fellow above, DayZRP can be revived, despite what the majority think. @Aiko - I enjoyed working with you in Staff, you really saved my activity a few times. I don't have much to say, besides leave out the 'Desu Aiko' bit out of any posts. Please. @Ender - You were great to work with in staff, but there were a few times where things were taken too seriously, and you lost your cool as a result. I can't say I blame you, even I did at some points, but just be mindful. @Lyca - Good admin, but sensitive to some things. I've told you this before, don't take things so seriously on here. It's a videogame and pixels on a screen, nothing that people say or do can affect you, whether it be now or ten years from now. Lastly, regardless of whether you see it or not, there are ways that you have changed that came with that admin badge. I know you're going to say "But you can always come to me with XYZ", but it's not exactly like that. You are too enveloped in staff work to spend even the slightest amount of time with any of your old friends, and it does bring a frown to several people's faces. Calling in @Zero for his POV. If you want to discuss this more in person, feel free to poke me or get me on Steam. If it wasn't obvious already, I and several others miss you. Besides that, whenever things have gone down, you've stuck by the team, and you're a loyal staff member. Keep it up. @Oliv - Good guy, decent admin. However, you're too lenient regarding forum ethic. It seems as though not just yourself, but several other members of the Admin Team have been very forgiving and tolerant of community members' rulebreaks. I suggest you all step up and do something, because currently, warning points are a joke to the majority of people here, to a point where I will be sitting in a TeamSpeak channel of randoms and hear "Hey, I'm going to go get some points real quick, they don't really matter anyway". I advise aggravating points if people refuse to take them seriously. @Ark - No opinion. @Chewy - No opinion. @Eagle - No opinion. @Jade - No opinion. @Nihoolious - Give this boy the red, he deserves it. Don't think I saw any report he didn't work hard on. @Para - We disagreed on several things in staff, but this is feedback, not me annotating your opinion. It should be noted that from this, I know you have a dislike for me, and it was very evident when we would speak in TS. Aside from that, you strongly believe that you are correct in your opinion and are willing to fight for it, which is good. The only thing I would advise is to take things a little less seriously, at the end of the day, this is videogame and nothing more. @Spartan - Only competitor with Nihoolious for the red badge. Hard worker, good work ethic, one of the best GMs. Also sound and good to have a laugh with. I'll be sure to go to you if I have any ridiculous questions, like in the old days. @Hebi Kotei - Although I appreciate your consistency and persistence regarding the feedback of other members, your feedback proved to me that rather than going for helping a member to improve on their work, it was instead to target them and to prove the point that you were right. I didn't appreciate this in staff, and I'm sure others who received similar feedback from you won't either. I would advise aiming to actually help people on your team, rather than try to impress the admins with how intelligently you can fire at other people. Then again, given your arrogance, you probably won't take this advice. Like I said before, up to you. @Lord Strawberry - No opinion. @Loscham - No opinion. @Samaritan - No opinion. @Shane - No opinion. @Major - Best LM this server has ever seen, and one of the most intelligent people I think I've ever seen on here. I was considering applying for LoreMaster if I ever resigned from my position of Moderator/GM, but it's a bit late for that now. Keep up the good work, we need it. @Method - One of my closest friends in the community. You're a good guy, and one of the few who has stuck by me for the longest time. My only feedback, is that if you believe in your opinion, no matter how many disagree with you, you stick by that opinion and don't back down. I saw that a few times from you, even though you were right in a form or fashion. Also, give this fellow a green badge already, he's stuck by you guys forever, despite your refusal to promote him. Give him something to go off of. @Skinner - Great CH, soon to be moderator. I've seen you in the helpdesk the most, alongside @Zilly. Keep it up. @Zilly - See @Skinner's feedback. Also, another one of my closest friends, if you need anything, you know where to find me. My best guess is that my advice on this thread will not be taken seriously, as it was not in staff. There were a few things that the community wanted that I pushed for internally that were shot down pretty hard, and only one of which actually came to fruition. Regardless, you know my opinion. Several people are going to be very happy to see that this happened, several others are going to be very disappointed. Regardless, I want everyone to know, staff or not, that I confessed to what I did when it came to my attention that another community member was at stake for something that I did, leading to my overall confession of my mistake. I stand by my decisions. If you didn't like me as a staff or a community member, here's this for you: If you did like me as a staff or community member, here's this:

Offworld is working its operations in the north, and it needs the area to be free of people. To do this, they hired elements of the locals to vacate Svetlojarsk. One of these elements "The Traders" said they wouldn't move unless Offworld offered them 3 crates full of ak-47s and ammo. Offworld agreed, and decided to do the ammo drop in Gorka. The Operation was supposed to be "secret" but by hook or by crook the Peoples Army of Ukraine found out about the drop. The plan is to have the URAL carrying the AK-47 crates stop dead center of town, highlighted in green. The red folks will be that PAU/bandits assaulting the trucks. The Story Repercussions PAU continues to interfere with Offworlds illegal activities, by stealing from supply trains, and taking objectives that Offworld have highlighted prior to Offworlds arrival. This is the case with this Ammo drop. If PAU wins, their influence will strengthen, as they now will have a TON of guns, and Offworld will be shamed. Unable to deliver on their promise of guns to the Tradesmen. Offworld will lose influence and trust in the region and will have a limited supply of weapons, and it will reflect with the guns we carry. If Offworld forces win, the PAU get humiliated by the loss, it will show South Zagoria that it can, and will fight back.. and they will take heavy casualties and wounded, which they will RP out. When/Where? Gorka, Saturday November 11 at 7:30pm CST or 1:00 server time. All Offworld forces will meet at the green dot, All PAU forces will meet at in the woods highlighted in RED, Two teamspeak channels will be used, one for eash team. Hopefully an admin using Rcon can say "KOS EVENT STARTS IN GORKA" and that will be the signal to go. Prior to the "Go" announcement, everyone will be standing still, and not in firing view of each other. Please post down below if you can make it, and say which team you'd like to fight for. YOU DO NO HAVE TO BE A PART OF EITHER GROUP TO PARTICIPATE, ANYONE IS WELCOME TO FIGHT FOR ANY SIDE. IF TEAMS HAVE TO BE BALANCED WE WILL SORT IT OUT PRIOR TO SATURDAY <3 John Danger: Team Offworld. I'll be there, obviously ^.^

Ok, so it looks like the balance of the answers won't sway in any direction. Sadly we only got about 150 votes from the 350+ members that visit the website every day, but I guess not everyone - especially newcomers - are interested in the inner workings of the community or permabans of people they don't know, I suppose they are here just to... role play in DayZ? As we can see, the result is not overwhelmingly positive which was my requirement to go forward with this suggestion, which is why I will stop it here and abandon this idea. I like that many people brought up both positive and negative things about this suggestion, showing that they at least considered both sides of the problem. The one I was most conflicted with personally is the fact that the bans and warnings you receive should matter and have consequences so that we can keep a healthy environment which prioritizes role play and have a community that is not full of toxicity, however I was hoping that the large amount of money involved would mitigate these issues and risks. However I can understand and accept that others do not see it that way. Regardless of the outcome, I am glad to see that we can still discuss controversial things like this is a polite and respectful manner, putting aside only a handful of troll posts in this thread. Thank you all for participating and voting on this suggestion. Let's all of us who are still here work together to keep this boat afloat and try to better ourselves and our role playing effort so that when beta hits in 2022 we are ready.

@nicvin49 You've been here for a matter of a few short weeks yet you've come in here and decided to be belligerent to staff and then attempt to kill someone in game, no where near following our rules, because After much testing where logs show that you shot Oliver, our staff team recreated the same issue. Two staff members went in game, Chewy painted a Mosin, handed it to Spartan, who then shot Chewy in the foot. Logs still show that despite the painting of the weapon that Spartan was the shooter. Checking the known bug list for issues with painted weapons indicates nothing of the sort. We have no video evidence showing you did not shoot Oliver, there for the staff team trusts the word of the logs over your word. But, lucky for us, this time you actually admit to trying to shoot someone. Thankfully you failed, but based on your response here we will be treating this situation here as an attempted mass KOS since you opened fire on a group of innocent people. Bottom line, you lied to us about shooting Oliver. You belittled staff, then threw a fucking temper tantrum and went and tried to mass KOS people in game. We don't need you or your shitty attitude here and frankly I blame myself for being part of the team that accepted your damn blacklist appeal in the first place. We could have saved a lot of time just denying it, but hey, that's what we get for giving chances. We have exercised our right to use Rule 4 in this case, mainly 4.1 and 4.2. We simply do not want or need people like you here. With love, The Admin and GM team

Link to the source of punishment (report/post): Why the verdict is not fair: It's not fair because I didn't do anything wrong as I had legitimate KOS rights on the OP and ally as their dynamic group was actively taking shots at my friends while they were within 500 meters. The OP and his friend are both in the dynamic group of the people we are fighting against, which is not disputed in the verdict. However, Para states that the firefight had fallen into a lull by the time they had entered the town. This is false as can be seen by the logs: If you can call 3 minutes a lull, then fuck me. There was almost constant fighting during some points, including points immediately prior to them entering the town near the school. My boy @Dewskeet Skeet was inside one of the apartment buildings that I was near, and was being shot at by someone outside the apartment, as well as trying to fight the guy at the top of the apartment they were in. In fact, the reason I moved down to the apartments from my position was to clear the outside/inside of the apartment so that Dew and Pado could leave the building and push towards the school. When the OP and his ally enter the town, they can hear shots popping off. Once they get closer to the apartments, they said they heard more shots by the apartments. Those shots were people attempting to kill my friends inside the bottom of the apartments, as well as whoever else was outside. Being that the shots were coming from the people fighting my friends and I, and being that the OP and his ally were in fact in the same dynamic group as the people fighting us, I did in fact have KOS rights on the OP and his ally, as they were in fact within 500 meters when shots were still being fired at my friends and I. This is confirmed at ~00:43. They are right at the construction site in town and more shots can be heard in the direction of the apartments and school. From the construction site to the apartments is ~500 meters. This is confirmed in a very autistic artistic diagram that I made below: Also, you cannot assume that there will be hitlogs for every single shot fired. Just because there may be an apparent "lull" (lmao 3 minutes) before they are killed, that does not mean shots were not being fired still. There are things called suppressors in this game, which makes shots quieter, and more difficult if not impossible to hear at certain ranges. Not only that, but DayZ is an alpha game, meaning that there are many bugs in it. DayZ has had extremely buggy audio for basically it's entire development so far, meaning that sometimes gunshots are not heard correctly, etc. Lastly, @Para states in the verdict: They literally told their friends, AKA the people actively trying to kill us, that they were going to assist them as medics. It was in fact their intention to get involved in whatever was happening. They were made aware that some sort of hostile situation involving killing and potential fights would occur, and decided that they were going to be part of it. It's not my problem that they have bad communication with their friends, nor is it my fault that they stood in the middle of an open field directly in the middle of the active fight. They were informed that the people in their dynamic group would have KOS rights on them, and were informed of where exactly the situation was going to happen. It is only logical to assume that some sort of hostility or confrontation would happen there. If they truly didn't want to die, then they should have just completely avoided the area. Simple as that. The people who wrote the verdict took everything that the OP and ally said as fact instead of thoroughly looking at and considering every possibility. A mistake was made, and it needs to be fixed. Additional statements/comments explaining your point of view: The staff team that handled the verdict, consisting of @Para @Chewy and @Ender clearly did not do the verdict correctly, as things that I pointed out above were not considered, and were not investigated. Had the points I brought up above been thoroughly considered and looked into, this verdict likely would've ended very differently. I understand that staff are only humans and can make mistakes, but when mistakes are made, they need to be fixed, and wrongs need to be righted. What would you like to achieve with this appeal: Ban and warning points revoked. What could you have done better?: Ran into an open field in the middle of a firefight, and initiated on two people who were in the same dynamic as the people we were actively fighting.

I just wanted to offer my sincerest gratitude to this server. I am mute, so most role play servers outside of the MMO scene instantly blacklist me for not being able to use a microphone. When this server accepted people who can only use text I was excited, but ultimately did not have high hopes for role-playing. But I've not had any issues whatsoever, people have been patient and understanding. I've had both short and long term rp, I've traded with people on the road, I've shared a camp fire, by god I've even been robbed! And I cannot state how much that means to me. So thank you to everyone I have role-played with, and everyone I will role-play with. It has truly been and I imagine will continue to be, a pleasure without equal.

Come on man. Enough with this toxic attitude. We get it, you hate DayZ. We get it, you don't like this community. But, if you hate the game and hate this community, then why do you keep coming back here? Why keep spouting your shitty opinion and toxic attitude? Are you not getting satisfaction in your life, so you have to try to get it here by attempting to piss people off? I've seen better attempts at trolling in an elementary school. -User was warned for this part of the post- Anyways, to be on topic, we'll let the community know if Gaming Deluxe says anything to Rolle. It seems that it happens at the same times, usually in the afternoons-evenings in US timezones. I'm unsure if it happens at other times as well, but those are the times I play, and the times that I've seen it the most.

Starting a little off topic. I hate the terms being used in this discussion, it triggers me. If we are talking seriously, in my book there is no such thing as campfire RPers or RPPVPers, these are just used for memes. We are all supposed to be roleplayers. Depending on our characters we can do either peaceful RP or hostile RP and switch in between these depending on the situation. I don't have any problem with either of these, because people who do these properly are really role players - they are focusing on roleplay and keep things fair and that's what's most important. PvPing on the other hand is not roleplaying. PvPing is playing on our servers and using our rules and restrictions as an advantage over other players (being able to get close to the target without having to worry about being killed in open terrain for example) to kill or otherwise dominate them (hostage taking for no reason) and feel like winners. These people can't easily pull this off on public servers because there they would get rekt by other players shooting on sight, so a no-KoS server makes it easy to "win" over others. PvPing is cancer of this community, DayZRP was specifically created to create an alternative to PvP focus of vanilla DayZ so that we don't have to deal with players like that. It's insanely difficult to get rid of it, because it's always masked by the "but we do care about RP" and in the past it was only resolved after massive rulebreaks, usually by me rule 4'ing entire groups of PvPers. Bottom line being - bullets do not deliver RP. If they did, the best RP servers would be the publics. No, roleplay is interaction with other players through text or voice and that's the primary focus of this community. We allow for conflict in the rules (revenge rights, kill right sharing) to keep things fair between the players and groups and allow for fear and conflict which is a huge part of DayZ nature, not to allow your character to express themselves by emptying a magazine into other players. So how do you distinguish between a hostile roleplayers and PvPer? It's pretty simple. Hostile RPers will actually have a IC reason to do things they do and when they have a reason and are hostile they keep their actions proportionate to that reason. They will not make up reasons in order to be hostile, initiate or use their ambiguous group goals as a cookie-cutter reason, they will not actively go out and roam the map in search of conflict just to get into a firefight. They will focus on the roleplay aspect of all interactions and will not get hostile just to humiliate other players, get kills, gear or brag rights. I've been taken hostage recently by two random people whom I've never met before and it was one of the greatest moments in Standalone for me. I tried to reflect genuine emotions of being scared and on edge and they in turn kept it interesting and reasonable, didn't take anything that they didn't have to, didn't humiliate me or torture me for some shitty made up reason and I was let go shortly after because quite frankly - I haven't done anything wrong to them. I think that if all hostile RP looked like that then the peaceful RPers wouldn't have to avoid hubs in fear of a text initiation from behind a wall, hide on the map or focus on internal RP only. They wouldn't be afraid of losing the jacket that they searched for several hours that fits their character perfectly, because if they didn't do anything wrong or be a member of a group in conflict - nobody would take it from them. If they did something wrong, fair enough - do whatever needs to be done which is reasonable. If not, why should they have their experience and RP destroyed because a PvPer wants to humiliate and make other players miserable thanks to some made up shitty reason? So no, I'm not against hostile RP when it makes sense and is kept within reason, in fact I love it. It makes things interesting, it adds fear, consequences for your actions and adds to the atmosphere of the apocalypse. I am against PvPing, mass initiations on player hubs for no reason, killing other players when its not absolutely necessary, actively searching out and baiting/provoking conflict. Now that's not saying that peaceful RPers are holy cows and never can be wrong. If the reactions on screenshots that Dusty posted were sent after hostile RP that was entirely justified and fair then they are just salty people who are either gear whores, do not prioritize RP over everything else, can't take responsibility for their actions or do not recognize the difference between IC and OOC. Either way, they are just as much unsuited to be players in this community like the PvPers I described above. That's how I see it and that's how my priorities lie when deciding things in the community and if you disagree, well - there's always DayZ Underground where the organic and unrestricted RP is encouraged Now going back on topic, I don't think there is a huge problem with elitism in the community. I am an elitist because I try to make my community work the way I want it to and not the way a minority of PvPers wants it to be. Yes, I'm an self-centric egoist like that unfortunately, but that's just who I am - I like to be in control of "my house". Yes, there is currently division between players in our community, some salt going on, but that is largely limited to actions of PvPers and salty "peaceful RPers" and honestly there's not that many of them to cause major trouble on a larger scale. It's kind of like headlines in news, it all looks bad and terrifying, but all they do is report bad news. In our community behind that few rule break reports, hate messages and salty that we see that give us a picture of a community full of Bad RPers, PvPers, salty kids and OOC hate there are countless number of good members and genuine good role play interactions that didn't end in any rule break and everyone was satisfied by them. We never see or hear of those. Just look at the number of players / 24h on the front page and how many reports are created daily. Either way, like others before me I don't think this issue can be solved. Every community have some kind of quirks or divide, people with one mentality will group up and oppose others who do not share their beliefs. I've never seen a community without conflict where everyone coexisted in perfect harmony. It doesn't happen in real life and neither does it on the Internet. We try to make the best of it, we have rules about how are you supposed to behave towards others and those who do not follow them will be removed. So I don't have any other ideas other than removing those people who spread the toxicity and create this divide to begin with.

There was a lot of false accusations and lies thrown about. This is supposed to be a place we can all relax and play games. I wanted to contribute and continue to do LM work with @Major but sadly it was cut short. I won't really participate in the forums or anything OOC related here seeing as there are far too many snakes left in this place. I will sit back and watch, if something looks serious I may come around, but that is a rare occurrence. One day. One day this place will either crumble or grow again. Whichever it may be I hope everyone can learn to calm the hell down and look at things objectively. This place has a habit of making people pick sides like this is some kind of petty high school. There are so many people that came to bat for me and caused me and @JakeWalford to be unbanned sooner. Thank you, I appreciate it immensely but this experience and the events that took place following the ban have opened my eyes to many things here. You all know who you are, I might be here all day if I tagged all of them. One day... maybe after BETA...

Hello friendos I've decided it's finally time for me to be permanently done with staff. Also, decided to leave before they could kick me lmao. Anyways, I've given a total of 9 months over 3 different time periods to staff and I'm at the point where the amount of pros of being staff no longer outweigh the cons. Time for me to retire and just be a normal asshole instead of a purple asshole. My time in staff was aiight, but it's time for me to move on from the staff team. As a staff member, you're expected to be completely professional, and I'm just not down with that. This is a gaming community, staff is not a job, and nobody is getting paid. I'm all for being polite and courteous when it calls for it, but people need to stop acting like it's a huge terrible thing to not be professional in a gaming community. I'm not down with that. I'm here to have fun with my friends and play videogames, meme around and shit. And if someone is being an asshole, I'm gonna call them one. If that makes me an asshole, then alright, but I'm not gonna change who I am just because I have a shitty badge next to my purple name. Anyways, time to do some call outs: @Dewski - It was lit when you joined staff, but with you leaving, I don't really have a reason to stay as staff anymore. You're alright, don't come to school tomorrow. @Shane - Join us you fuckass. You never play games with your friends anymore. We miss you. @Chewy - You're a good staff member, but you are one of the people who take staff work way too seriously. There have been many times when you say in slack that something in the community is keeping you awake and making you lose sleep. It's lit that you're enthusiastic about doing a good job, but you gotta chill out and take it less serious. See it for what it is: a volunteer position in an online acting community. I think you'd have a much better time if you took it less seriously. Like I said, you're a good staff member, just take it slow so you don't burn yourself out emotionally or mentally. @Nihoolious - You're alright too. Wear red to school tomorrow. @Play3rFTW - The time and place is tomorrow in room 4 aka the roast zone in teamspeak. @ all the haters:

Verdict: @John_Higgins - Ruleplay [Guilty] @TheProxLouie - Rule 4 [Guilty] @Jxkey - Rule 4 [Guilty] @evanm23 - Rule 4 [Guilty] @BigTy - Rule 4 [Guilty] Explanation: A team of staff have reviewed this report and have come to the following conclusion: We will first handle the report against @John_Higgins who was part of the group that had been robbed in the church prior to @Joffrey getting killed. We understand that you were robbed multiple times by the OP and his allies, but when you came up to him with multiple allies in tow. Instead of initiating on him and furthering the roleplay that could have happened, you just killed him with nothing to go on but that. As it states in the following rule: 7.5 Remember that kill rights are still subject to rule 5.2. You shouldn't use kill rights in situations where it doesn't make in-character sense as it can be seen as rule play. In other words, obtaining kill rights alone does not give you explicit permission to use them. Think about if using kill rights is viable in the current situation. It made no sense for you to kill him for this, he was not completely present in the church taking your things for one. Another is he was only being relieved of his weapon, how does this warrant his death? There could have been much more roleplay from this, that ended there. Sure, he had allies in the area but it could have easily turned into a hostage negotiation to perhaps even get your guns back. Because of this you will be punished for ruleplay. In the future, we suggest that you try and roleplay out scenarios like this in the future. For the others mentioned in this report verdict, Though you were not called in, we have been shown evidence and seen videos of multiple rule breaks. In a short amount of time, since you all started playing here, you have gained an astonishing amount of points, ranging from unnecessary points all the way to bad roleplay, and the list is simply endless. Even though you have an extensive warning history, you seem to be punished repeatedly for similar rule breaks and situations. Most recently, you have changed your name to that remarkably close to one of a permabanned player, and you show no regard for our rules here in our community. With the creation of the IRA, and with recent videos that have been brought to us we can see a total disregard for the rules and for roleplay in general. In the following video for example: we can see evidence of metagaming people's numbers via their teamspeak channels and comparing it to how many people are following you in game. Threats of “chicken tendie”-ing if TheProxJack gets permabanned. Clear discussion about delaying and prolonging reports so people have a chance to have their warning points expire before knowing that they will receive more. In this video we can see: clear mention from the entirety of the team to just kill him and not provide any roleplay. It also appears that the delaying from John Higgins to provide his allies in this report is intentional and although the allies are aware of the report without being called in, they are withholding potential evidence and very much appears to be utilizing the “delay the report” strategy listed above. We have found many other videos that lead to more rule breaks from all three of you. Because of all these rule breaks all three of you will be getting a rule four verdict. All the appeals you have up at the current time will be closed, along with any reports as well. @TheProxLouie @Jxkey @evanm23 Because of the extent of your rule breaks, seeming to be unable to learn from them, and the discussion you are seen here where you are talking about rule breaks, all three of you will be put on final warning. As with all final warning you will be able to appeal after 3 months time. Your activity both in game and on the forums will be taken into account for said appeal. You must show improvement of both your IG and OOC attitudes. Only then can you appeal this. @BigTy Along with them, we have looked at all of your videos and what we can say is we are appalled by the roleplay and general way you play here. In one of your videos you even impersonate a UN, and proceed to roleplay forcibly raping another player. This we will not tolerate and because of this, and many other rule breaks present in your streams. You will be removed from this community. For anyone wishing to play IRA, We have also received numerous complaints about the RP from “the Irish”. This has always been a topic of controversy when it comes to roleplay, but the issue at hand is the quality of the roleplay and how a group of Irish Republican Army or Irish Militia group is portrayed. We are a week and a half into the new lore and this has already been an issue when it should not be. Due to the horrible portrayal of Irish militia groups the admins are putting an end to this type of group being played at the moment, whether officially or dynamically. All future Irish militia style groups will need to be ran by the Admin team prior to ever stepping foot in game, and the group, ideas, and method of playing will need to be presented well if they wish to have a chance. It is not the Admins that are responsible for this, but the actions of those attempting this play style in game. With the above stated, the following applies: @TheProxLouie - Rule 4 - Final Warning @Jxkey - Rule 4 - Final Warning @evanm23 - Rule 4 -Final Warning @BigTy - Rule 4 - Permanently Removed @John_Higgins - Rule Play - 5 Days & 10 Points Verdict by @Lyca @Ender @Oliv @Jamie @Aiko

August 3rd, 1994 Xander Motley met Evelyn Pelletier outside of a small candy shop in Duluth, Minnesota. The two who were in their mid-twenties got on like a wildfire. They came from similar backgrounds and shared the same interests, allowing them to grow incredibly close to one another in such a small amount of time. Wherever Xander went, Evelyn would follow. The support and kindness that they had given to each other was outstanding. They would die for each other.. Or, even kill. For all of the years they were together, Evelyn’s parents never approved of Xander. They had wished she would marry a rich man with a good family. This drove Evelyn further away from her own family and even closer to Xander, who would soon after propose to her. The lovers had a courthouse wedding in 1996 with a few close friends, including Xander’s brother, and lived out a quiet, ordinary life at the end of a cul de sac in Minnesota. Evelyn soon found out she was pregnant with what would be their first child, a handsome boy they would name Desmond Motley. Three years later in 1999, Xander & Evelyn would have another beautiful baby girl named Elyse after Evelyn herself. Still, their life was quiet and habitual. By the time Desmond was eight years old and Elyse five, their father earned himself a promotion and was set to leave for a business trip to Texas for a week. Thinking Evelyn would finally be able to catch a break from the children, they were sent to their uncle’s home while their mother stayed behind. The following week was slow. As the final day came and Xander was set to catch his flight back home, the phone calls made to Evelyn went silent. It was unusual, considering they never left each other’s sides and if they did, they made sure to stay in touch. Getting off of the plane in Minnesota, he rang again. No answer. He could feel himself letting the anxiety and tension take over as he got in his truck and drove home. The doors were locked. He rang the doorbell, knocked, slammed on the door only to receive nothingness in return. He smashed a window open with an old, rusty crowbar to get inside of their pleasant home. Xander searched through a few of the hushed rooms of the house to find lamps knocked over, vases shattered with flowers scattered among the floor and other signs of damage up until he rushed into the kitchen where he found his beautiful wife lying in a pool of blood. Some of her limbs had been severed and her body was scattered with cuts, deep gashes, bites and bruises. World Lore Entry No. 5 - Winter is Coming/Fighting Back - November 8th, 2017 (hit play, adjust PC volume and read) In recognizing the humanity of our fellow beings, we pay ourselves the highest tribute... //This entry is written from a more narrative perspective. It's easier to read and write, and helps break up the way I typically do these. Any information below could have been obtained through hearsay or word of mouth, radio transmissions, or even phone or email communications from civilized areas that got transmitted from word of mouth and socialization around from Miroslavl or even Russia. There will be a bit about NATO calling out to survivors still trapped in Chernarus promising rescue. Remember that for a couple months down the line, as it will be brought up again. As the Fall months wore on, it seemed to many within Chernarus that the outside world had ceased to exist or simply didn't care. The day-to-day struggle of survivors amidst the ruins of once inhabited areas and the wastes of the Chernarussian wilderness often took priority to finding out what was going on in other far-flung places. As the weather grows colder many begin to look forward with fear towards winter, some unfamiliar with Chernarus and it's notoriously cold, wet, windy winters. Human suffering and the loss of friends and family continue to be the common theme uniting all... Many foreign survivors trapped in the country have been swept up in the local skirmishes of insurgent groups, military remnants, and other groups of people who have banded together to stake their claims and find some semblance of security and peace of mind. Outside of South Zagoria, Chernarussian government loyalists continue their fight to defeat the forces of the Belozersk People's Republic on the northern reaches of Primorsk, going back and forth with few serious strategic gains by either side as the government continues to oversupply it's forward units and pound the enemy with artillery and aircraft where it can't win with numbers and armour. The detonation of an enormous government stockpiling base outside of Primorsk has severely crippled loyalist forces there. Many towns outside the CDF-dominated coast have suffered due to a lack of air drops as the CAF has had to lower the amount of food and other supplies dropped as stockpiling for the winter has begun. The UN's research efforts in Miroslavl have advanced, despite only receiving a weekly shipment of personnel and equipment from Ramstein Airbase in Germany. Charleston Joint Base, the original site for the coordination and shipment of supplies to Chernarus via C-17 was overrun by infected in October as the National Guard retreated inland. Europe has been divided into zones encompassing entire nations by NATO in an effort to coordinate operations to destroy the infection. The Alps have been fortified by a small joint task force from Italy, France, and Germany, providing an easily fortifiable base of operations and a place where refugees from across Europe can be relocated to. Many regional and provincial capitals across Europe have fallen, but this has not signaled the end of military or government-led efforts to stem the infection. Rather hard lessons learned during the initial outbreaks experienced by European hubs have been used to educate relief and military initiatives. A common theme even in America has been mass evacuations from cities to the countryside, where civilians can come to grips with the situation and armed forces can re-group. It has been said that disasters bring out the best in people, but they also bring out the best. Many who are in a secure enough position have no issue with lending food or help to those in need, a stark difference between areas such as Chernarus where armed groups and survivors fight for control and persistence. Brussels has become a massive refugee hub, with police cordoning off various sections of the city. The situation there remains on a knife's edge as more and more areas outside of Brussels fall. In rural England, a prominent new leader has rallied those of all walks of life to take back urban areas and re-claim civilization, and Ireland's once comfortable position in the world totem pole of "how badly fucked your nation is" has shifted as the virus spreads to areas once considered to be safe or secure. The South and Midwest of America have done the best, and most areas away from large cities were able to get ahead of the spread of the virus. But even as humans help each other and the "better angels" prevail, the spread of the virus knows neither good nor evil, only re-production and persistence. New York City's ruined streets have been visited by a group of survivors who stuck it out in high rises through the intense bombing and rioting and bided their time. Atlanta has become a battleground for the living as a valiant local neighborhood watch in the southern suburbs has risen up to meet with relief National Guard troops as they fight toward the airport. The skies above Atlanta, once packed with civilian airliners of every origin imaginable are now filled with Black Hawk helicopters and putrid black smoke. Los Angeles and the West was decimated by the outbreak in August, but signs are showing of a growing effort from former coastal residents to push back into areas that were the scene of so much bloodshed and death. The dilapidated state of San Francisco, LA, and Seattle will make it difficult for anybody wanting to advance and revive civilization in those areas. Away from the rest of the world, an unlikely site for a research facility has been found in an Arctic area near the north pole for nations within the northern hemisphere, and another site has been established in Antarctica for countries in the southern hemisphere. Two large research facilities have been built designed to protect research and to put distance away from the spread of the virus, which is believed to be less transmittable in cold weather. Live infected specimens have also been brought to these areas for various types of tests, the results of which are yet to be determined. Those working in these facilities represent what is left of their respective nations, and are sworn to forgo personal and national interest and to seek a cure for mankind. Russian usage of large-scale military weapons within its own territory has killed many, and the authorities there have been extremely ruthless in combating the virus, often detaining civilians and establishing holding camps for refugees and those believed to be infected with the virus. Despite communication issues and ethical differences in combined UN and CDF efforts to combat the infection have produced a chemical agent that, through repeated tests and the participation of survivors has been shown to reduce the level of brain activity of the infected. This has slowed down the few massive hordes of infected still roaming Chernarus, buying more time for rural scavengers to collect supplies for winter. The UN has remained quiet about whatever advances it has made in terms of research towards finding a cure, but it does seem as if they are moving forward with their efforts. Russia has all but pulled back entirely from Chernarus, overestimating its own ability to wall off the country with troops and military equipment. Outbreaks in Sochi have resulted in a 65% decrease in Russian troops on the border with Chernarus, leaving only spare strongholds between extensive areas of fencing and barricades guarded by border police and the FSB. Russian air activity has decreased, but frequent patrols and AWACs aircraft remain to keep NATO remnants in check in Takistan and in the Green Sea off the coast of that country. After communication transcripts were leaked it was revealed that following the nuke strike on the NATO fleet the reinforcement flotilla sent by President Trump rescued survivors and repaired as many ships as possible. The combined fleet remained off the coast of Chernarus for some time, staying long enough to establish a helicopter base on Utes Island alongside the CDF. Helicopters from this base have been used to conduct reconnaissance missions over north Miroslavl and South Zagoria, where a number of them have crashed or been downed under mysterious circumstances. In Kirovograd, CDF forces continue to guard a factory facility situated on a mountain which overlooks the devastated city. This facility produces spare parts, bombs, and many critical components necessary for not only the government's military efforts but also for civilian industries that have been established to help in the food rationing process by canning and shipping food to various neighborhoods and districts still within government territory. A previously abandoned plant on the coast west of Miroslavl has been re-purposed for the collection and processing of the large amounts of fish caught by fisherman during the waning months of the summer. Outside the relative luxury and safety of government areas brutality and bloodshed continue. The use of an American "FOAB" was requested by the Chernarussian State to eliminate an incursion of Takistani militants that the government was unable to flush out with heavy bombardment. The city has been turned into something of a Stalingrad as the CDF's lack of concentrated forces in that area have forced the use of weapons that have made Kirovograd a living hell for any survivors taking a chance at traveling into the city for supplies and for those who refused to leave their flats and apartments. Most of the city was flattened by the Coalition and CAF's bombing missions early in the Outbreak and by subsequent fighting and infected cleansing strikes. Warnings from the west have urged distance from the border areas as a multi-front conflict has started. Rumours of an army of 100,000 Takistani militants united under one banner have reached Chernarus, and ever increasing arrivals of militants along with technicals and even tanks have given credence to these whispers. The Chernarussian airbase once tasked with watching over the border has been completely surrounded, and all operational aircraft have been flown to Primorsk as take-offs have become impossible since the militants gained complete fire-control over the massive base. Despite this, the CDF forces there are well-provisioned and continue to operate dozens of armored vehicles and maintain several perimeter bases where thousands of Chernarussian locals have taken shelter, terrified of a mass ethnic cleansing should the foreign horde take hold. CDF reinforcements are en route to the Primorsk frontier in an attempt to break through the masses of infected to reach the beleaguered loyalists. A veritable slaughter awaits the Chernarussian pocket there should they allow themselves to be overtaken by the Takistanis and the hordes of infected waiting in the wings, and as such the civilians and soldiers are ready to fight to the death to prevent this from happening. Despite the best intentions of the CDF, massed Grad strikes have carpeted the surrounding areas with fire, making it difficult for families to safely avoid roaming militants and military strikes in addition to the infected. In the far remote reaches of the Black Mountains, an area whose few villages are dominated by the influence of the Belozersk People's Republic, rumours of the establishment of a clandestine military outpost have trickled down into mainland Chernarus. Sightings of black helicopters have been reported by hunters, and the area has been suspiciously avoided by CAF patrols. This comes as scouts from the Belozersk People's Republic have been witnessed crossing into South Zagoria from the Black Mountains. The very heavy combat flights undertaken by the Chernarussian Air Force early in the Outbreak have tapered off almost entirely as concentrations of infected near the few remaining cities and towns still left have decreased. The government has decided to conserve fuel stores to keep civilians warm during the winter, especially critical now that there are only 5 oil rigs left operating in the Green Sea and more and more installations in Chernarus' oil rich western frontier are seized by insurgents every week. Aside from the decrease in activity from transport helicopters and fighter bombers, CAF Mig-29s and Mig-23s have taken over most of the reduced air activity, and appear to be patrolling the Russian border. This may signal a decreased tolerance for Russian meddling in Chernarus, even if most of the country has been abandoned or bombed. Within South Zagoria the sides of buildings and walls have been "redecorated" with new colors, the artists who created them not hanging around to admire their work. A NATO spokesperson issued a statement from a base in Takmyr that "assets were being set aside to launch a massive airlift of all European and American citizens in Chernarus". So many proclamations have been heard by survivors of this sort so far, but still some keep hope that things will get better. The playing field has been leveled for so many across not only Chernarus but the world, as the former masters have lost much of their previous influence. Humanity has clearly resisted the claws of what has been labeled the "Wendigo Virus" and has chosen not to go quietly into the night of despair and helplessness. However, this does not mean that survival is guaranteed for the remnants of the old world. Those who cling to civilization, order, power, and other amenities must fight to protect their way of life and not give way to complacency or a false sense of security. The human spirit must prevail in the end if mankind wishes to survive, putting aside old rivalries and feuds is the only way forward now. A tale that has many parallels and similarities across the world, irrespective of background or situation. All must ultimately face the test of survival, a trial which all people have faced even before infected walked the earth under better circumstances...

Many of you probably heard that there was a shootout in the town of Svetlojarsk at Saturday, with dead bodies lying in the streets and even more hidden in harbor. I tried my best to find out what happened that day and decided to write it down, because I think that even players that aren’t online when some great events take place, should at least know what happened OOC. Great stories happen every day, and it would be a shame if you haven’t heard of them just because of not being there to see them on your own! Short summary The fight broke out between two groups - The Vale of Shadows, a secret cannibal society, and Kelsey Brothers Ltd., a drug cartel operating from their headquarters at Svetlojarsk. As I found out, there was a rivalry between the two before, with The Vale of Shadows overlooking the arrogance of their opponents. But when Kelsey Brothers Ltd. took three members of The Vale of Shadows as hostages, namely Elyse Motley (@Sleepyhead) - the leader of the group, they were forced to act. Kelsey Brothers Ltd. tortured and even killed one of their prisoners, effectively dooming any future negotiations. The Vale of Shadows reacted, assembling their members they managed to arrive in Svetlojarsk, outnumbering their enemies at least 2:1. Shots could be heard all the way up in Turovo, with many bystanders trapped in between the fire. The first victims of the clash were possibly three unfortunates that happened to be on the square. The fight then moved down to the port, where it stagnated and became a siege (although not lasting for very long). Kelsey Brothers Ltd. tried their best, but being outnumbered and surrounded they didn’t stand a chance. After finishing off with the main force of Kelsey Brothers Ltd. they retreated to regroup, as they weren’t seen for another half an hour. Around this time survivors of the initial attack, and others that heard the shots, or just happened to arrive, came back into Svetlojarsk to investigate what happened. Bodies could be found on the square and in other parts of the town, with the most sinister sight being found in the harbor, where naked corpses were discovered leaning against the walls. But The Vale of Shadows later came back, perhaps to make sure none member of Kelsey Brothers Ltd. survived, with me being so stupid to think they came to help. After a short chat I was promptly shot in the back, left to bleed out on the street. Interview - @Sleepyhead (Elyse Motley), leader of The Vale of Shadows Could you please describe the course of events from your point of view? The Kelsey Brothers took me & some of my most trusted members hostage and from that point on continued to fuck with us, just like they do to most of the city. I said fuck it and refused to roll over like a dog for them and took a stand with my group, The Vale of Shadows. What was, in your eyes, the spark of the conflict? Initially, the Kelsey Brothers took myself as well as two of my members hostage and kicked the shit out of me, executed one and beat the third. What did you want to achieve? Kill every last one of the Kelsey Brothers & make them regret fucking with us. They've not done it since, so I assume they were taught a lesson. How would you evaluate actions taken by your enemies? Please think of this in the bigger picture and forget your IC emotions. I think they made a terrible mistake. They walk around the city claiming that they own it and attempt to strike fear into everyone around them. What they fail to realize is that they finally fucked with the wrong people. What are your thoughts about the results of the conflict? Do you think you achieved your goal? We didn't lose anyone in the firefight and successfully wiped out an entire group in the process. I'm pretty happy with the results, but we're not done just yet. It is by now clear that there were people, not alligned to any of your groups, caught in between the fire. How would you explain their deaths? Well, from an OOC standpoint I feel incredibly bad about their deaths. They weren't by any means meant to be killed and I feel terrible that they died. However, from an IC perspective my character just sees it as their fault for walking into an open firefight. Do you think the conflict ends here, or was this just the beginning? They got me shot in the arm and in deep shit. Our group tends to hold grudges, so this is definitely the beginning. Thanks so much to Sleepyhead for giving me extra information on this matter, and to all that read through this. I wasn't writing in a very long time, so I'm sorry for mistakes and bad article structure. I'll have to practice my journalism, as I really am not in the shape. Thanks! ^^

Link to the source of punishment (report/post): Why the verdict is not fair: First of all, thanks for the birthday present. The warning says: "And even after he asked you to stop, you then spammed that bitmoji picture onto his profile." Shiro said: "Please do not post on my profile." Now, I was not the individual who posted on the profile -- that would be Cameron. If he had said "Suturb, stop," PM'd myself, or @'d me, then maybe I would be aware of whom he was addressing. I see 4 people that posted not including myself all after he said "Please do not post on my profile." On top of all of this, I'm not quite sure how posting on a profile would regardless get yourself points when they can delete posts off of their own profile and ignore people. Additional statements/comments explaining your point of view: Now, I made no attempt here to "flame" this individual. I said "Dab on them, Shiro." This is a dab btw: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dab_(dance) Shiro wrote a long post explaining himself and what one would do after dropping so much knowledge on someone (in this case Nihoolious) is "dab on them." And in the words of Jake Paul... If the explanation above comes off as "stupid" or me not taking this serious, it's because my posts weren't serious. They were jokes. Jokes. On an online gaming community and status updates. Where people come to have fun. Also, I believe it has been spoken that you cannot be punished for flaming a permanently banned player regardless. Hopefully I explained 3 flaws with these points, each of which should be self-sustaining on themselves. What would you like to achieve with this appeal: Points removed. What could you have done better?: Not sure tbh.

Alright, so as a group, we came together and discussed what we wanted to do with this group and the goals we had for it. We wanted to do something really big that would affect almost every single person and every single event on the server. That was the plan at least. People are starting to notice how the RP is getting stale again, and how nobody is doing anything big to affect the server or actively trying to progress the general RP of the server. But when we tried to come up with an idea that would do all of these things, we got a lot of bullshit for it. People in this community take everything way too seriously. This is a gaming community, and we are all here to try to create interesting stories with our characters. We wanted to do this, and have fun, but people have to take everything to an OOC level for some apparent reason. A majority of people seem to be too focused on how things are OOCly and how they should be a certain way. During our group discussion, we came to the realization that the amount of effort we put forth, and the amount of effort we would put forth in the future is not worth it for the amount of shit we get from people. We want to create cool and interesting groups, and we want to try to drive the RP forward, yet when we try to do that and give good RP and put forth massive amounts of effort to create interesting stories, we get shit on. It doesn't matter what we do. We are the PVP scum of this community, and so people treat us as scum no matter what we do. Due to how we are treated, even if we actively put forth effort to provide good RP, we have decided that we are going to archive this group. It is not worth it to put forth this amount of effort to literally change the entire server, just for people to talk shit to us and about us no matter what. So, we've decided that we want to do what is fun, even if people will continue to hate us for it. We're going to be doing our own thing from now on, and will no longer be attempting to change the server or change how people see us. "If the world's only gonna see a fox as shifty and untrustworthy, there's no point trying to be anything else." @ Moderator @ Game Master /archive this please

Story sounds pretty good, the graphics look fantastic. I have issues with your goals. The region is already fairly destabilized. I can see maybe wanting to implement the "Off World's" type of government though, that would be kind of interesting to see. I think this is merely some rewording needed. taking weapons from people again? This is at least the third time I've seen this same MO from the same people. It's getting a bit tired. I'd be more shocked to see you guys whip up a guerrilla group that arms civilians, now that would be some shit to see. In the end guys, it looks great, but you can give a tired old car a fresh paint job and it's still a tired old car. I'm going to need some serious convincing here.

Verdict: @Boston [BadRP]: Guilty. @Cody Husky [BadRP]: Guilty. @Coreena [BadRP + Invalid Demands]: Guilty. @Taryn [Metagaming + Invalid kill - Roleplayed]: Guilty. @Puncture [BadRP]: Not Guilty. @LadyInBlue [Unnecessary OOC]: Guilty. @InnKinn [Unnecessary OOC]: Guilty. Explanation: In this situation, @Boston and his dynamic choose to initiate on a large amount of hostages in Severograd for a previous incident involving people being thrown out of Severograd. Over a lengthy period of time, the numerous hostages are rounded up into a circle, whereupon Boston's party proceed to remove all of the hostages of their belongings (primarily backpacks, weapons and vests). All of this loot is then dumped onto a pile in the middle. Once this has taken place, Boston takes over as the ringleader and begins to identify person's of interest amongst the crowd, singling 3 of them out. One of them being @LadyInBlue, who is labelled as the Queen of Severograd. LadyInBlue is taken away from the crowd, and is tortured for a little while before she is returned to the town square. Shortly after her return, @Coreena takes over and proceed to tell the crowd either LadyinBlue kills herself, or the whole crowd will die. This demand is reiterated, to which the crowd of hostages heavily protest the reasoning to kill her. After this protesting, Coreena proceeds to ask LadyInBlue OOCly whether or not she may execute her, roughly at the same time as LadyInBlue requesting to go afk. Shortly after this, an initiation is dropped by a group of 'Bounty Hunters' lead by @Taryn. A firefight ensues, resulting in many death between the hostages and the hostage takers. The hostages were released and told to run in the direction of Devil's Castle. @Boston your role in this situation appeared to be arguably the biggest ringleader for the first half of this whole ordeal. You state in your PoV "We initiated on the entire town, with myself dropping a VOIP initiation." Eventually, once you've had your fun you state "I line up the hostages as requested and break off allowing for Andy to take my place as the lead roleplayer for the situation." thus highlighting that you were infact the ringleader. Due to you having one of the most significant roles on this situation, naturally it should all on you to lead the situation throughout. Even if you allow @Coreena to take over, you should still be involved in the hostage situation simply due to the number of hostages your party took (for further clarity, please see the paragraph below explaining why we see this as BadRP). @Coreena, in this situation you had more of a laid back role until the latter half. Your involvement with the hostages remains very little for the initial parts of the situation. You mostly appear to roam around, attempting to round up people that were around the time. The part where you take LadyInBlue off to rough her up is perfectly legitimate RP. As one of the lead roles in this situation, you are found to be in a similar boat to Boston. You state "My character knew Dalton Lowe since before the apocalypse and they had kept in contact for a long time," and had the lead role in the events leading up to your death. In addition to this, your demands to LadyInBlue are also invalid. As per rule 6.3: 6.3 Demands during hostile situations must be reasonable and made clear and unambiguous to all players. For example, you cannot demand that somebody puts their own life at risk or else other characters will die. The following chat-logs highlight why you made this situation much more confusing OOCly than it needed to be, and why your demands were invalid: In this situation, she openly protests being permanently killed in the first instance whereby later you bring her over to the crowd and give her an ultimatum: She kills herself or everybody else dies. Even after this is protested and you explain that "it is just rp", you also ask for permission to execute. These demands are invalid because you force her into a situation where she has to put her own life at risk, directly violating rule 6.3. These demands are also incredibly confusing to follow for both the IC and OOC reasoning. @Cody Husky, your involvement in this situation was minimal. Despite being around the hostages, your appearance in this situation is slight. Your RP entirely constitutes of responses to hostages engaging in roleplay with you, thus you personally showed very little initiative to actually provide an engaging situation of roleplay. As stated in your PoV "I hardly took part in the hostage situation" and "I stayed to myself for the most part unless spoken to". Now, @Boston, @Coreena and @Cody Husky, we will now further address why you have all been found guilty of BadRP. This situation was an unorganised mess. For such a small party, you chose to take an incredible amount of people hostage . The effect of you doing this is that the hostages are left to their own devices on several occasions throughout the videos, often with little RP. There are moments where you do address the majority of the group, however the majority of the hostages in this situation showed little to no involvement with what you held them up for (in regards to being thrown out of town). You singled out 3 individuals who had wronged you, to which the majority of the hostages were left in the town square to do their own thing whilst you took Lady In Blue away to torture her. To further highlight this problem, as shown at 4:52 of the linked video, you have even singled out 2 other hostages that you wanted yet they remain silent and receive very little RP for the duration of that video. There were many, many ways to go about this situation without resorting to leaving several hostages standing around pointlessly. For example you could have extracted the ones you wanted and and organised moving the rest of the hostages away to release them. Instead they were forced to stay around. Even if you feel it is "unfair to initiate on a large group of people and let them go immediately after", it is still equally unfair to make people stay around a situation they have no involvement in. When you take this many people hostage with so few people, you put yourselves in a position where the majority of you should be handling the hostages at all times as to provide engaging and fun roleplay. Rule 6.2.1 is a rule that was broken heavily here: 6.2.1 As an attacker you may NOT: Attack other players just for the sake of gear by doing a quick robbery that involves little to no role play. Ignore your victims. You must provide an engaging role play to keep things interesting for the victims at all times. It is this that the majority of your BadRP rule-break comes from. TL;DR: this should not be happening: 02:19:37 | Chat("Ian Keith"): *Has a bored expression on his face.* @Puncture despite being in the accused's party and being involved with the hostilities, the staff team looking over this has decided not to push for a punishment against you. Although your party did initiate on far too many hostages than you appeared capable of handling, that does not automatically mean we will punish everybody in the group. Our reasoning for finding you not guilty comes from your motive to actually attempt to RP with several of the hostages on your own accord, as shown here, here and here. Shown both in the logs and in multiple videos, you took the initiative to engage with the hostages on numerous occasions . When taking so many hostages with so few people, more of the captors need to be actively engaged with RPing with the individual hostages, especially being as they were left to their own devices so often. Because you attempted to keep the flow of the RP going with the uninvolved hostages, you will not be found guilty of BadRP. @evanm23 we have looked over your circumstances in this report and will not be punishing you for anything. Your involvement in this situation was more of a security role. You appear for the initiation, shown in the text logs, and help to disarm the hostages before spending the rest of the situation on overwatch. Nothing you did in this situation warrants a punishment. Now we come to @Taryn's rulebreaks in this report. Firstly we shall address the kill you made on @Coreena. Taking into account this previous report here, your kill on Coreena is of a very similar fashion to the kill on Dusty in that recent report. People in Coreena's group are initiated on elsewhere but you decided you had kill rights on her due to them not complying. Coreena had no visible knowledge her people had been initiated on in game and seconds after the gunfight commences you shoot her. This is shown at 5:04 of the linked video. She shows no visible reaction to the fight and before she is given a chance to react you proceed to kill her. Being as she did not receive the original initiation, and is not initiated on, you gain no kill rights on her when her friends do not comply to that initiation. Therefore you have been found guilty of Invalid kill - Roleplayed. Now we come to the issue of metagaming. In this video you are heard talking about 3 hostiles you've identified around you. On top of that, at 5:15 of the same video you are heard telling your group members to initiate on those at the hospital and that it will "give you kill rights" presumably on Coreena as she is the one you shot. There are various other callouts in this situation that you said in teamspeak but were silent in game for. As per rule 11.5: 11.5 When speaking with another player, you may not communicate over the radio (TeamSpeak) with your allies unless you speak over the radio and in game at the same time. Telepathic communication is not acceptable. You repeatedly make callouts in teamspeak, ones that are vital to your in game situation yet they are not stated in game. Due to the extent at which you broke this rule you have also been found guilty of metagaming. However, because the extent at which you metagamed was so significant, as well as you invalidly killing somebody, we have chosen to aggravate your punishment. Instead you will be receiving 5 days, not 3 (the standard punishment for both metagaming and invalid kill roleplayed). Now we come to @Lady In Blue and @InnKinn. We understand that during this situation a lot of server lag was present. That being said, you both made several comments across the situation that were simply not needed at all. LadyInBlue, whilst we understand that rulebreaks occuring in game can be quite off putting, you are still required to stay IC as much as possible. InnKinn there were also a few chat logs from yourself that have no place in game and simply serve to disrupt immersion. For example, chat logs such as: 02:38:44 | Chat("Quinn Gray"): //dude blackmail? 02:27:36 | Chat("John Baker"): // stuff might despawn at this rate Being present a few times are invalid. I refer you to rules 5.1 and 5.4: 5.1 You are required to role play your character at all times while in game. No OOC events or communication may take priority over your role play. You are not allowed to ignore other players attempts to role play with you. 5.4 OOC communication can be done only through text chat and only when absolutely necessary. You may not use OOC chat to casually chat with other players in game. You may not speak OOC using ingame voice. Use the "//" prefix to indicate OOC text communication. We understand that this situation was a clusterfuck with a significant factor of this being the server lag however these types of chat logs are not permitted. You will both be receiving a verbal warning for this rulebreak. We advise that in future you do not repeat this offence to the same degree. To everybody involved in this situation, a lot of the lag in game could easily have been caused due to the insane amount of entities on the ground. Once the entirety of the hostages were stripped of weapons, they were kept around their loot pile. DayZ is not a stable game, thus when you create a pile of entities this dense it will likely only contribute to the lag significantly. This likely could have been avoided by moving the hostages away from the giant pile of loot. Outcome: @Boston [BadRP]: Punishment (5 ban days & 10 warning points). @Coreena [BadRP + Invalid demands]: Punishment (5 ban days & 10 warning points). @Cody Husky [BadRP]: Punishment (5 ban days & 10 warning points). @Puncture [BadRP]: No Punishment. @Taryn [Metagaming + Invalid Kill - Roleplayed]: Aggravated Punishment (5 ban days & 10 warning points). @InnKinn [Unnecessary OOC]: Verbal Warning. @Lady In Blue [Unnecessary OOC]: Verbal Warning. Verdict by @Para & @Jade & @Red & @Oliv.

Verdict: @JakeWalford [Invalid Kill - Roleplayed x2]: Guilty | [Powergaming]: Guilty | [NVFL]: Guilty | [Lying in a Report]: Guilty | Explanation: In this situation, @JakeWalford was taken aside by the VDV, along with several other civilians, at Kovar’s Market for questioning in regards to his possession of an assault rifle. After a short interrogation, Jake claimed to be a member of NATO and produced a challenge coin in order to prove this. In response to this, the VDV soldiers involved attempted to validate his claim of being a NATO soldier with the proper authorities and discovered that they had never heard of Jake’s character. As a result of this, he was asked to peacefully hand over his weapon as he was not considered military personnel. This resulted in the shootings of @Dew and @Otter, which resulted in Otter and JakeWalford killing each other in a trade. @JakeWalford, to address the validity of the kills, the team reviewing this case has determined that both of your kills were illegitimate. As seen in the video evidence provided by @Dew and yourself, there was no initiation given out by any member of the VDV, nor was there any action taken against your person which would grant you legitimate kill rights on them. Unfortunately, for all involved, you decided to shoot and kill Otter and Dew without any kill rights being gained in this situation, which would invalidate both of your kills. In addition to this, you also claimed to have been initiated on by the VDV prior to this but, as shown in the chat logs provided by members of the OP’s party, it was not the VDV who initiated on you or anybody else at the time when they allegedly did so. We have determined that any kills by you in this situation were invalid and, as a result, you will be receiving a punishment for your invalid kills. It is at this point that we would like to cite the following rule, in support of this conclusion: 7.2 Players gain kill rights when a hostile action is taken against them or their group, or when their characters life is at risk. These rights last for 2 hours after last interaction during the hostile situation and can be used as long as their use do not conflict with any other rules like NLR or NVFL. Secondly, multiple Game Masters have searched through the last month of server logs in order to determine if you did, in fact, pickpocket a challenge coin from another player. Our investigation into this yielded no results beyond the conclusion that you did not pickpocket a challenge coin from another player, on any of your characters. There are no records of you emoting this, nor are there any records of somebody else receiving this emote and emoting in response. As a result of this, we have concluded that you powergamed your challenge coin into existence in order to produce it in front of the VDV. Furthermore, your dishonesty regarding the matter has also been taken into account in this report, as you failed to admit to powergaming the item despite the overwhelming evidence against you. As a result of this, you will be receiving a punishment for powergaming and lying in a report. It is at this point that we would like to cite the following rule, in support of this conclusion: 10.1 You are not allowed to use powergaming against other players, unless the action is specifically allowed by the other player. Thirdly, after investigating the alleged NVFL, we have to the conclusion that the accusation also holds merit. As seen in the video provide by @Dew at 0:04, your apparent allies are walking away from the situation with their weapons away. At the time of this, you were looking in their direction and they were passing in front of your field of vision, impossible to miss, so it is safe to say that you were fully aware that they were walking away. Furthermore, there were several VDV members around you with military grade weapons, positioned at various angles whilst you were alone. It would have been clear to any reasonable person that attacking an armed party such as theirs without sufficient backup, which was not present, was a suicide mission. As a result of this, you will be receiving a punishment for NVFL as your actions were clearly not valuing the life of your character and only served to realise the overwhelming odds of death in that situation. It is at this point that we would like to cite the following rule, in support of this conclusion: 5.6 Do not act in a way that indicates no value for your characters life and survival. For example, attempting to kill people when heavily outnumbered, excessively talking back or insulting someone when taken hostage and threatened with death if you don't stop. Despite being questioned further and given a chance to come clean by the team investigating this report, you decided to continue lying about several of the accusations presented in this report. Your statements in this post have been proven false upon further investigation, as explained in the above paragraphs and, as a result of this, the team reviewing this case has concluded that you were dishonest during this report. As a result of this, you will be receiving a punishment for lying in a report multiple times. On a final note, due to the multitude of rulebreaks, both in-game and out of game, your punishment will be aggravated. We hope you take the time given in your punishment to reflect on the poor behaviour you have shown in this report. Should you fail to correct this behaviour in future, it will be made clear that there is very little room for repeat offences. Outcome: @JakeWalford [Invalid Kill - Roleplayed x2] | [Powergaming] | [NVFL] | [Lying in a Report]: 10 Day Ban & 15 Warning Points Signed by: @Elmo, @Spartan & @Eagle
