S2: Griefing in Kamensk

Recommended Posts

Link to the source of punishment (report/post):

Why the verdict is not fair: As Bubbles replied in the thread in question we stumbled on the camp and saw there was a tent inside. We weren't prepared for any break ins so he went down to the towns just below to try and find something to use while I stayed put and overwatched. When he came back with a Sledgehammer and an axe we used those to break through the bottom back wall. We pulled out the items in the tent and 2 barrels so that we could take them. We had no intention of griefing or despawing any of his items and left everything else that was not in the barrles/tent in there respective containers. We were just trying to get in and out as quickly as possible to avoid any conflict and didnt think to put the items we had pulled out back into different containers.

Additional statements/comments explaining your point of view:  When the incident happened it was late at night and I work early in the morning, part of the reason we did it so quickly. Also I apologize for the late response, I work 12 hour days and can only really play on my days off so I didn't see what had happened or that we were temp banned until now. Thank you.

@Aloha - Griefing - NOT GUILTY

The staff team have reviewed appeal and have come to the conclusion to accept it. In this situation, you and your ally stumbled across a camp and decided to break in and steal items that you both wanted. After you had stolen the goods wanted, you proceeded to leave a small amount of unwanted items on the ground without making any effort to transfer said items into other containers, even though that said containers were only a couple of inches away.

As you did not leave a large quantity of items on the floor and the value of the items were not very significant, the staff team have deemed you to be not guilty of griefing. However, we would like to make it clear that should you find yourselves in a similar position in the future, you should try your hardest to transfer any unwanted items into other containers that have room to avoid situations like this from re-occurring.

With that being said, appeal accepted.
