Lets talk impenetrable bases (again)

I kind of answered part of this in Eagles question here:

 

Most of the bases can be broken into by simply jumping over walls, making this not a priority for the few bases that are really impenetrable. Ideally I'd like to add a fix for this in game mechanics, rather than a rule that staff has to enforce. Probably a question for devs if we can do anything about the wire thing situation.
