Memorial Day

Recommended Posts

I would like to dedicate this post to all those that have fought and served in wars throughout history for any side. That be British, america, german, Asian, russian, african, south american etc... War is terrible and only ends with death on both sides.

Those that fought, even for a just or injust course..I respect both your families..your friends and hope you found peace. Those that live, we thank you for all your services in fighting for your countries. Remember the fallen, remember those who are around us, respect your troops, your sailors, your pilots, your medics. Respect Humanity.

May we have peace one day, and your services not be in vain. In fact, I will fight for it.

Sad that my country treats soldiers like outsiders of society, nothing but respect for those who protect us.

Big respect to all veterans of war. I have long running respect for people that both willingly and unwillingly went to war for their country to keep it safe🙏🏻

Only veteran i've ever known would be my Great Grandfather who was born in Germany in the year 1922, a great man is what he was and no he did not agree with the genocidal agenda of the Nazis, he went to war to fight for his country. He passed away when i was 10 years old but my father has told me stories about what he saw during the war and what they did after the war ended.

I would also like to thank my brother @YNW Pep for the service that he does to not just his own country but to millions of other people in the world by defending what is holy in this world. Thank you for your service brother and if i ever come to the Holy Land it would be my honor to get to shake your hand🤝

Salute to all the Men, Woman and Animals that put their life on the line every day to keep us safe.

Watch me slap up any fucker that disrespects those people.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

There's no glory in war, it's not "sweet and decorous to die for one's country"; few conflicts are right, and there's no evil to fight universally acknowledged as such nor a side favored by God. And that's exactly why I greatly respect those who make the choice of living the horrors of war and doing indecent things in order to protect their country's interest.

War is hell.

Bent double, like old beggars under sacks,

Knock-kneed, coughing like hags, we cursed through sludge,

Till on the haunting flares we turned our backs,

And towards our distant rest began to trudge.

Men marched asleep. Many had lost their boots,

But limped on, blood-shod. All went lame; all blind;

Drunk with fatigue; deaf even to the hoots

Of gas-shells dropping softly behind.

Gas! GAS! Quick, boys!—An ecstasy of fumbling

Fitting the clumsy helmets just in time,

But someone still was yelling out and stumbling

And flound’ring like a man in fire or lime.—

Dim through the misty panes and thick green light,

As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.

In all my dreams before my helpless sight,

He plunges at me, guttering, choking, drowning.

If in some smothering dreams, you too could pace

Behind the wagon that we flung him in,

And watch the white eyes writhing in his face,

His hanging face, like a devil’s sick of sin;

If you could hear, at every jolt, the blood

Come gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs,

Obscene as cancer, bitter as the cud

Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues,—

My friend, you would not tell with such high zest

To children ardent for some desperate glory,

The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est

Pro patria mori.

I'll drop this here too
