Base AOGM

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

So I've seen a lot of bases where people won't have gates on them when they're logged out, but will use a wire kit to make a gate whenever they next log in so their base can't easily be accessed with a hacksaw while they've been gone overnight, but they still retain ease of access. Is this an accepted practice?

Edit: That seems silly to me, as making and unmaking a gate is an unrealistic strategy clearly done to provide an advantage to settlement holders, similarly to tent walls which can be circumvented via boosting but are still considered AOGM as they are considered unrealistic obstacles. Nevertheless, thank you for your reply @Zanaan

I've asked @Roland about this a couple months back and he had no issue with it as walls can be torn down, therefore it doesn't fall into the pureview of AoGM like tent walls would.
