Past eczema - British army

Recommended Posts

I'm currently studying in college and weighing up my options if college falls through.

I'm considering a career in the armed forces, however I have been told that Eczema can prevent me from joining. It states on the army website that you may not be eligible if you have an "An active skin disease such as eczema or widespread psoriasis."

I however do not have eczema anymore. I have only had it in the past when I was younger. Just looking for some quick answers to see if I'm eligible.

If you no longer have a regular prescribed medication for the condition then you should have no problem in being accepted, If you have gone a few years without any recurrence then it really isn't an issue at all, hope this helps

I'm pretty sure there is a recruitment live chat on the MOD Army website, where you can find what you're looking for.

Go to your local recruiting office and ask, no harm in it :)
