Tales from Jimmy the lawyer

Chapter 1: The Quick Stop and Start of Time

Spoiler

Jimmy's story begins like most in the country of Chernarus. He came to the country for a job, working as an attorney who was new to the place and its laws. He arrived with a partner named John Barlow who, like Jimmy, was an attorney. The strange new world that Jimmy had been placed into confused and scared him. The new responsibilities placed on him were heavy like boulders, and his metaphorical legs had began to bend. On a seemingly normal morning Jimmy arrived at his office in Chernogorsk. His regular, cheery, secretary was no where to be seen which came as a surprise to the man. Greta was never late, she had shown much pride in her long and tedious work, so her not arriving for work was the first of many events that set the day apart from others. Jimmy shook his head and assumed the woman was sick, and headed into his office to make some calls. Two and a half hours passed before Jimmy received a call from his major client, a cocky tourist named Frank Dominic. As Jimmy gingerly picked up the plastic phone he could already hear Frank nearly screaming on the other send. The telephone flew to his ear as he spoke. "Calm down Mr. Dominic what's wrong?" His client was hysterical and yelling about a crazed lunatic and his partner who had killed someone. Before the attorney could respond he heard a loud gunshot in the lobby of his office building and loud thud following closely afterwards. The man's eyes widened and he whispered into the phone. "I'll call you back Mr. Dominic." His shaking hand lowered the phone slowly and disconnected the call, sliding open his rolling desk drawer to grab a small revolver loaded with .22 rounds.
Tension hung in the air like slime. Heavy footsteps echoed through the building, stopping directly outside of Jimmy's office. Jimmy silently aimed the revolver at the door and cocked back the hammer, his entire body filled to the brim with a foul mix of fear and adrenaline. A metal squeak broke the short silence and shattered it when a man in a black ski mask stepped into the room and was shot in the head. The horrid thud that reverberated through the room hit Jimmy like a cannon ball and struck a cord within him. Jimmy blinked wildly for a moment before grabbing his phone once more and dialing the local authorities. The call went through and the reassuring voice of a dispatcher shot through Jimmy's head. Jimmy gasped and prepared to speak before the line went dead and the scene was once again caked in silence. The next few days of his life, Jimmy feared for his life constantly. The hovering weight of death that could be released upon at any moment kept him motivated to keep moving, and to keep fighting. Months later, Jimmy found himself in a small cottage to the north of the country. The quaint wooden house felt like a small ray of light in an everlasting darkness.
During his time sheltered in this cottage, Jimmy developed a fear of death, and with that came his next goal in life. To keep the reaping smell of death out of his, and other's lives. When Jimmy Miller emerged from his isolation, he spent weeks searching for his associate John Barlow. His efforts produced the results he sought, and so he set out to complete his new life goal.

Chapter 2: Cyka Blyat

Spoiler

A fire had lit within Jimmy as he strolled into Pavlovo. A packed up tent in his arms and a smile on his face sent a glow of friendliness off of him. As he approached the church which he thought to be abandoned, he noticed a large group of people roaming around the courtyard. A few more steps placed him a few yards away. One of the men spotted him and approached, greeting him as he did. The two spoke for a moment and Jimmy was questioned about being with someone that they were waiting for. Jimmy shook his head and said that he had come to set something up. The man motioned at the tent and they continued to converse. After a few minutes of conversation Jimmy moved into the compound and began setting up his small tent and placing things inside. While he was doing this, the Russians in the courtyard moved into the road to speak to members of the group Anarchy. Jimmy did not know what they were talking about and did not intend to find out, until there was mention of 'taking care' of a woman named Hailee. When the words found their way into Jimmy's ears his attitude sunk like a ship that had been hit by a nuclear bomb. His face shifted to a grim expression as he listened more, slowly drawing his radio out of his bag and broadcasting on a public frequency. Jimmy warned of the danger coming to the woman and shoved his radio back into his bag. Unfortunately the Russians searching for her heard the broadcast and came to a conclusion. The day afterwards, Jimmy sat in the Pavlovo church, listening to the radio when he heard Hailee's voice. Jimmy's eyes widened as the sound of a gunshot punched through the radio.
His arms lowered to his lap while his head tilted down aswell, as if the motivation had been drained out of him.
A few moments of silence passed before the large wooden doors of the church opened and the Russians from the other day strolled in with prowess and power. Their entrances startled Jimmy and he retreated back slightly. The apparent leader of the group stepped forward as the rest surrounded him like flies on a corpse. The masked woman crept close to the man who had shifted to a standing position. The woman spoke to him in a slightly angry and condescending way. Jimmy remembered the woman from a previous conversation outside the church. She had spoke ill of Jimmy's ideas to save lives and mentioned that killing was her profession. After a few angry words were exchanged between the woman and Jimmy, the group put Jimmy on his knees and handcuffed him, taking off his backpack and shirt. The Russians discussed what to do with him for a few minutes before deciding on giving him and scar, or tattoo as they called it at the time. Jimmy pleaded for them to reconsider and attempted to barter for his well being. But the Russians wouldn't have it and began carving into his back with a knife. The word Cyka soon found itself plastered upon his back in streaked blood and jagged letters. Throughout the scarring Jimmy found himself crying and yelling in pain. After the fact the woman rubbed spice and salt into the wound, ensuring that it would scar. As the Russians backed away and examined the poor, sobbing man from a distance one of them gave the order to bring him outside, behind the church. The men placed him standing against a stone wall while they lined themselves up to take aim. Gun were raised and fingers placed themselves on the triggers of their deadly weapons. Jimmy winced as they pointed them towards him and he closed his eyes. The loud beat of his own heart was all he could hear as he waited. The order to fire was called out and bullets began to fly. Loud shots startled Jimmy and he began yelling out of fear. Their guns were aimed above Jimmy, and served no purpose but to startle him. As Jimmy whimpered, the Russians laughed until they released him and departed, joking and conversing as they left the scene, leaving Jimmy to sit with his thoughts inside the church.

OMG I love seeing my characters pop up as a villain in people's storyline. Can't wait to see the rest of entry 2.

Finished chapter 2, although with much less detail then I would have liked I did not want to assert exact words that I didn't remember.
