That's what I've heard, but I haven't experienced the offset in-game myself.

Values for 90 FOV at 1920x1080 are:

fovTop=1.03;

fovLeft=1.83;

In my experience, yes and no.

It seems to mess them up, but only to the point of the dot itself meaning a different distance (Say, 300 metres wouldn't be in between two dots).

There are plenty of shooting range maps for ARMA to get use to it again, however.
