photo question

I'm putting images into Imgur then copying the link to my profile, but pictures are not appearing correctly. Any ideas on how to fix?

Should have posted it here: http://www.dayzrp.com/f-Questions

And what kinda picture do you mean? Like a background or a signature?

If you are trying to upload it as an avatar, you need to save the file and upload it that way. If you are trying to make a signature, you need more forum posts or need to donate to get that ability. Same with a backround image, you need to be a Hall of Famer

Are either of those what you are trying to do?

Im trying to put photos on the character page. It says we can have 3. Yet when I put the links and save, they show as unable to be viewed

make sure you put a like with the .jpg or .png in the end. Example: http://imgur.com/TbwEejH.jpg'>http://imgur.com/TbwEejH.jpg

That link will work but if you use a link without a .jpg or .png it wont work. Example: http://imgur.com/TbwEejH

Click with your right mouse button on the picture on imgur and chose "open image in new tab" and then you should get the .jpg or .png link.

OP, can you show me the format of the links which you have tried to upload your picture into your character pages?

Looking at the code on your character page you are using the wrong URL.

78b60fdf24.png

I know sometimes with imgur when you upload a photo and hover over it, it gives you a link to the photo itself. That url will not work. If you right click on the image and choose "copy image address" it'll give you the right url to paste in the character bio box as it'll have a .JPG or .PNG at the end of it.

That is the correct answer. Seeing as Clumsy has offered the solution to your problem, I will go ahead and /solve it. Come to the helpdesk or PM the either of us if you encounter further problems. :)
