RP WebRadio for DayZRP

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to create a RP webradio.

It would be about news of what's going on around, sending messages for people, broadcast some homemade music.

This comes from a RP discussion I have with a guy I met who is a musician. So we though we could make the world a bit better by broadcasting some music and keeping people posted in case of any dangerous gunfights or stuff like that.

Would you guys listen to my broadcast if I makes some ?

I can't really give the link to the radio during a RP talk so here it is : http://www.radioking.com/play/chernarusse-rock

I am still working on the content but I'd really appreciate to know if you guys would be interrested in this project !

Thank you all,

Frank Asiimov

Looks like a cool idea, think I met you in-game and you brought it up IC wise. Cool that you`re actually following up on it. To answer your question, atleast myself and I think a lot of other community members would listen to your broadcast.

+1

Sure man I'd check it out. You could download the .mp3 file and put it in the Radio Chatter forum.

Sounds good, go for it! ;)

Only make sure that when you use music in your broadcast it's not any '' new '' songs.

Thanks a lot for the feedbacks guys !

Of course, I will be carefull with the music I play. (Date for RP, and artists rights)

At the beginning I will only have a few songs because I need to "find others CD's" ! ;)

Love this idea but I would suggest doing research. You need to make sure that the songs you play match with the dates in the lore. Also how you are going to power being able to play the music from a, I assume, "CD player" as you've just stated you are going to be finding other CDs. Depending on how long and current these broadcasts are and if you are going to be using anything battery operated you will need a lot of batteries.

We had someone a while back do a live podcast with interviews and everything. He offered it online and in game simultaneously.

About the RP part:

My friend and I are using a generator from a truck engine to power up the Radio Tower of Altar.

We went looting to find a lot of metal wire and some tools to do that.

There is a old Vynille player in one of the room and a recording rooms.

This is where we are going to make every recordings.

For the CD's, we will only use old songs to match the lore.

I like this idea man. If you can keep it consistent I would recommend post it to the radio chatter section of the forums as an mp3 file there. That way people can listen to it right in browser and respond/react IC to your broadcasts.
