Ok, so something has been bothering me for awhile regarding Lore and Stories. That being the existence of threads that are neither lore or stories. Which is both the title of the forum and the description of it:

For example: This is lore. This is a story, but these:

are neither.

So to the suggestion.

Create another sub-forum titled "In Character" or something along those lines. Make it a place for threads like the ones I listed above to live. Threads that are a mixture of Radio Chatter and Lore and Stories. It would still be listed under DayZRP Standalone and would make the place a little more neat. Neat is good.

I can agree to this. Could just be a sub-forum under DayZRP Standalone section.

Absolutely nothing wrong with this. Multiple roleplay communities have subsections in their forums for In-Character things like that.

Bonus points if the IC Forum gets further split into "regions" or major towns/cities for IC posting of things like posters, bulletin boards, or other small scenarios or events that happen in that specific area.

Like for example, Blackwood has a section of the map claimed, in which the towns are Vavilovo and Lopatino. Might be cool to have something like that in which it's up to the people who are passing through the town or "owners" of the territory to update or post on.

I'd say the doctors notes are an assortment of short stories regarding medical procedures.

I do believe that this would be a good idea if there were more threads like these. If these are the only threads of this nature, I personally don't see a point in making a whole new topic about IC things like this. It wouldn't hurt anything to have one though.

Either way, I'm indifferent.

+1 I support this, so would reactions be IC or OOC?

Or no reactions/comments at all cause if its an IC journal noone really sees it..

Unless as someone else suggested it's like a bulletin board and you could roleplay.

(Very basic)

---

*walks up to board, examining the page of blood samples and records*

"Huh.. Would you look at that."

---

Idea is good but I reckon it's needs some fine tuning on wether or not it's IC info, wether you can comment OOC or IC etc.

+1 Would love to have my character's diary in some other section since it really isn't really a story nor a part of the lore.

I will give that a plus one. But what if there was sections inside that with a groups name and all their stuff goes into there too?

I like the idea Bruce but can you elaborate a little further for me exactly what kind of content you'd like to see in this new proposed subforum? I'm all for giving people new and interesting ways to RP. Most of our RP is IG, through radio chatter, stories, or audio logs which I love. I'd love to see people take further advantage of the endless ways to explore these stories like artwork, youtube videos, whatever inspires them really.
