Hello Chilli,

OBS Isn't to good for recording DayZ.. It doesn't really work with the new render! I used to use it and when I eventually did get it to work(After so much effort and work) it didn't record audio!  The only way you can record with OBS On DayZ is if you play in windowed mode and record the window.. And if you're like me and do a lot of cinematic recordings, this isn't really going to cut it...

I would recommend PlaysTV or using  Shadowplay! Both work pretty much the same! These programs work great if you need recording's for reports and stuff like that! Because you can hit a button and it will record some recent footage!

Fraps is also a great program, if you're able to use it and get a good frame rate, of course... But you do have to pay for it!

I hope this helps

i tested streamen and recording at the same time, i have absolutly no troubles with this by the last version of obs studio, i play in windowed mod with antialising on the highest settings. but now with the new patch i have some trouble with my stream and not the recording. normally you get a message if the stream stops for some reason, but not this time, and obs is also not trying to reconnect.

Things to try:

-Make sure your output settings are compatible with quicksync.

-Try recording with a different file type (do not use .mp4)

-Make sure all of your drivers including Windows are up to date.

-Try reverting back to the older version of OBS.

Pretty much all of this. Great shout Maple.

Especially that last one, if you're having problems with this update, roll back to the old one!

i think downgrade obs is the best option, you can solve this
