The Server

Question

TheThrawn    2

From what I've seen from the DayZ Browser that the server runs on 60.0 and as such is high lighted in red, why doesn't the server update, and why are we not able to favorite it?

I've seen the issue myself and it appears to be random.

You can find the IP addresses for each server currently up and they are guaranteed to come up by using the direct connect function.

How do you mean why the server does not update?

Updates to the server are normally on Wednesday after the maintenance...

( If there is a update of course...

We have waited longer than 6 months for 0.60......

We don't control the updates! The DayZ Standalone Dev's are doing that.

Since the game is " out " it's still in early access Alpha status.

0.60 is the most recent update, and it's all controlled by the devs and server host. Not really sure what else there is to say beyond that, there's nothing to update.

If it's got a red X, then there's some troubleshooting to do with your game itself.

Sounds like you've opted into the experimental branch?

There is actually a glitch where the server will appear as just version 0.60 rather than 60.133980725blahblah,

It also doesn't allow people to add it to the server browser, if this is the case... then simply either direct connect to the server, or use the filters, connect to the server so this will create a client-server connection and BAM that should be your issue dealt with... although sometimes It may persist for longer...

y'know... just DayZ things.

Sometimes when searching for the servers with the remote function, it gives the red .60 thing.

I'd Verify my files, and If that doesn't work.

Try Switching the version of the game.

Then switch it back to the current version.

And If that doesn't work try Uninstalling and Reinstalling DayZ All over again.

Try verifying your files and maybe opt in to exp branch then back out. If not reinstall all of Dayz

to favourite the server just go to recent played list and favourite that way.

0.60 is the current patch DayZ Standalone is on, that number only changes when the Developers update the game itself.

Sometimes they appear in red when you connect via direct.

To favourite a server via Steam, do the following:

  • Open Steam to your library
  • On the top left at the toolbar select "view"
  • This dropdown menu will open:

  • Select "Servers" and locate our servers using the IP found on the homepage
  • Right click the DayZRP servers and select "Add to favourites"

I hope this clears things up for you.
