DayZ Switching Monitors

Question

Deegan    162

When the update came out, this started to happen

Every time I play in Fullscreen Mode it's on the monitor that I want it on?

But when I tab out it switches to my second monitor and I have to put it in windowed mode, to move it to my first monitor.

All I want is to have it stay on my first monitor, when I Tab.

If so please help <3

In your graphics card control panel, do you have your primary monitor set to be number 1?

Here's a quote from me in another thread addressing the same issue ;) Works for me man

This is what I do to make my game work on dual monitors.

  1. Go to Steam and Right Click your DayZ Game in the Library to Select PROPERTIES.
  2. Set the following as a Launch Parameter (Just type this in that line): -window
  3. Start DayZ normally and it will be in Window mode.
  4. Once loaded, press ALT+ENTER to go Fullscreen.
  5. Alt+Tab all you want, your game will always be on your main screen.

From now on, when you start DayZ you will have to repeat steps 4 and 5.

That's it! Hope this helps ya!
