Unable to perform actions.

Question

Hello everyone, i came across something rather strange just a few minutes ago, what happened was -

I tried to make myself a garden plot, which i could, yay

But, when i then wanted to ''prepare slot'' nothing happened, i got the option to do so, but no action was taken.

After spamming 'F' for a little while i got to the stage of ''Cold'' i thought okay, me make fire.

So i went to get some sticks and made a fireplace in a house, took my matches into my hands and pressed on ''ignite'' once again, no actions was taken at all.

I was/am in generel not able to perform action.

Has this ever happened to anyone here ? and more important, does anyone know how to fix my issue ?

I have tried :

- Restarted steam completly - no fix

- Veryfied game Cache - no fix

- Sacrificed a cow to the gods - no fix

I thought that you can not make a fireplaces burning inside a house.

At least that is my experience.

Was the fireplace a fireplace on the ground or on a hearth..?

Yes, earlier today i couldnt cook the meat on a stick over the fire using the command. Just had to stand really close to it. Also fire would not ignite until i had 5 short sticks in it. Must be a bug with the latest update.

I had same issue outside in the open though. Thought it used to say not safe to light fire here or something like that in the house.

So you fixed it by adding 5 sticks, and the igniting the fire, is that correct understood ?

I also have issues with fireplace. When I craft it and put it in the gound, its invisible. But when im looking the spot where I put it and take matches in hand it says 'Ignite by match' but nothing happens. I have tried to restart game, steam, pc and build it in different places but nothing works so far.

I think DayZ may be broken as per usual?

Yesterday I tried some farming, got the plot set up, but couldn't dig holes in it. This with a farming hoe and pickaxe, also another player tried as well.

Same here. Right after the last update. Can't make any fire. Can't ignite it with the drill, matches. Even I can lit a torch, but can't ignite the fireplace with it.

Really think it's a bug from the last update.
