PC QUESTION PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hey so im making a skylake build but i need to know if my EVGA 550w 80+ gold psu will be enough for it to handle (If there is anything i left out let me know)

SPECS:

CPU:I7-6700K

CPU Cooler:HyperX 212 EVO

GPU:GTX 970

RAM:32gb Kingston DDR4 DIMM

MOBO: Msi Z170a Gaming M5 

Case: Rosewill Throne (Black and red windowed)

Hard Drive:1tb western digital caviar blue

Monitor: Asus VG248QE

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO - 250GB - 2.5-Inch SSD

I'm gonna go ahead and say no. I could be wrong but i'd suggest upping to a 600? maybe a 650. Don't quote me though ;)

If you've been using the 550w in the past, I'd heavily suggest a new one. Given the fidelity of the power used by your components, get yourself a 700 - 850w power supply. The thing you want with a power supply is not "just enough" in order to run it, but a good amount of wattage slack because PSUs deteriorate in wattage over time.

The thing you want with a power supply is not "just enough" in order to run it, but a good amount of wattage slack because PSUs deteriorate in wattage over time.

Well havent been using it at all (its not really built)but would it be enough to get me by until i can get a new one? (2-3 months tops)

I would upgrade - but I think it would be fine until you can.
