Role Play

Question

creatormike    1

Hey community,

I was wondering if it was allowed to betray someone after rp for some time, are you allowed to kill them after some time and gather the loot or is this considered a rule break? Keep in mind that you have already met them and they talked to you for 10 minutes.

Thank you :)

You gotta initiate hostilities and have a good IC reason for the robbery. You will only be able to kill them if they disobey your orders/demands.

Hope this helps!

(Keep in mind, the hate will fly your way. ;) )

You must initiate if you plan to rob/betray someone. If they comply and you have no terrible past experiences with them, you wouldn't have execution rights on that person ( You can't kill them)

As long as you initiate, and provide good RP without killing your complying hostage there wouldn't be any rule breaks.

Hope this helps.

Hello

This would be against the rules reasoning for this being that no mater what you can't kos (Kill on sight) someone if you have talked to them for a while or travlled with them for over an hour or 2 hours this does not give you KOS. Killing another player must always be justified. This was taken for the rules and it says it all you must make sure that you are 100 percent that he has done something to threat your life then you will have kill on sight rights the following examples will tell you when you can shoot back at someone.

  • They have told you " Get down on the ground or you will die"
  • Someone tells you friend(s) to get down on the ground or they will die" This will give you KOS right if you were 500 meters within the hostile action. The official Wording (you are within 500 meters of the hostile situation at the time of occurrence You were recently a part of the involved parties group.)

But simple travelling with some and they have not done anything to you like said above then there is no need to kill them. Other way that you want to kill someone is that if you start robbing them and you tell them to " Get down on the floor or you will die" and they don't start shooting because they never followed what you said but all ways remember to say " OR you will die" because people can put up a report saying that you never gave them clear instructions and you never clearly said that you would kill them if they ran. I think if you are asking this question you may want to read over the rules again and get them well known before heading in game. Hoped this helped !

You are perfectly allowed to betray someone, however you must initiate first. An initiation is when you tell someone to put their hands in the air. Only if they do not comply (running, aiming a gun) are you allowed to kill them.

The purpose of the server is to further roleplay. If they comply, you would then take them into the woods and roleplay with them (Torture if you want, explain why you betrayed them, etc.).

After the roleplay, you let them go. This is the only way that you are allowed to 'betray' someone.

The only way to execute a compliant hostage is if you have KoS Rights or Execution Rights, which if you had been talking to them for ten minutes, you wouldn't have either unless they initiated on you first.

If you have further questions, do ask. :)

Killing another player must always be justified by the role playing and the actions specified in this rule; there are several situations where you can kill another player:

You have to make contact with the target before initiating a hostile action against it. You must make your hostile intention clear and unambiguous and state each demand before you can harm the victim(s) for non-compliance.

You can take revenge for a hostile action taken against you for 2 hours from the time hostile action was taken, as long as it does not conflict with the other rules.

You may only share KoS rights when you meet both of the following conditions:

  • You are within 500 meters of the hostile situation at the time of occurrence
  • You were recently a part of the involved parties group.

Above is the quote from the rules, and if you do not have KOS rights you are not allowed to just shoot the person even if you want to betray them. The way to betray someone if you just run around with them for a while or longer is by initiation where you usually rob/torture the person for specific reason you have and you can not initiate on somebody without valid reason.

And since your question was answered by me and the others I will go with /solved here. If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
