O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done,

The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won,

The port is near, the bells I hear,

This is all I can hear as I march my men forward into this forgotten Wasteland. Our unrecognizable home torn to ribbons by the infection. Should I be happy to return? My conscience tells me yes… Yet I am as miserable as I have ever been. This is not the country I left so many years ago. I recognized the landmarks, yet I have never more felt like a tourist.

Yet I must push on, The men.. My only source of joy in this fleeting world, They must Return to Chernarus as Victors. Not as  hollow shells of a once vibrant movement.

My only hope is through these action, through this mission; We be remembered. Not at Heroes, Not as Victors, but has brothers in arms.

*Alexander takes one final look at his entry, closes the journal and places it in his satchel.*
