Downgrade?

Question

Koshkovsky    0

So I have my steam set to use the experimental build for DayZ but it's recently just updated and now I can't connected to the server.

I'm pretty new do DayZ so i'm not sure if there's a launcher I should use or how to downgrade to the servers version.

The same way you set it to experimental is the same way you take it off :)

You have to go to stable the same way you went experimental.

The way to downgrade is exactly the same as updating to the experimental build, you just have to right click on dayZ in your steam library, click properties, click the beta's tab and change the drop down bar in the beta's tab from experimental to None.

Yes .60 is now stable, has been for a while ^_^; Does that answer your question?

But but but.........it's not stable......it's still broken as fuck. ;-;

I've slid this into troubleshooting to better suit the help you are looking for.

As others have mentioned, opt out of the experimental through steam and you will re-download the files required for stable, then all should work.

I'll mark it as solved as that should fix your issue, but I'll leave it open if you run into anything further.

It's okay. My question was answered. I just didn't realise that it was the current stable build.
