An all important question.

Recently i have seen game play of games from old consoles, and by old i mean N64 and SNES old. Due to being born in 1998 i didn't get to experience the SNES or N64 so i played it late. So i wanted to get one of these consoles to experience the nostalgic feeling but was wondering which one? I have heard that the N64 was the first console to have 3D graphics so i'm leaning towards that but the SNES has more games, please help!

Overall Question:

N64 OR SNES?

edit: and why if possible!

Get the N64, and get Goldeneye and Perfect Dark as videogames...

The 90's were pretty cool...

EDIT: Goldeneye and Perfect Dark were hailed as classics of the N64, and are said to have defined this generation of gaming.

I recently bought the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis in america) with a whole bunch of games that I used to own when I was a kid.

It's really fun and the nostalgia is through the roof.

Never really played N64 since I was playing Mega Drive. Then my purchase after the Sega was Playstation 1.

Alternatively, just get some emulators. I've got ~80 games for the N64.

N64 imo, and here's why:

Super Smash, Mario 64, Mystical Ninja, Ocarina, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark(though N64 shooters didn't age as well as other games), Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing, BattleTanx, Starfox...

The list of incredible games for N64 is far too long for me to even scratch the surface.  N64 will always be my favorite console.
