Due to technical reasons the maximum signature size is 976x150px, but it is strongly preferred to not use signatures larger than 750x150px, otherwise it might be removed by staff.

In the unlikely event that an oversized signature doesn't get removed by staff - the forum is set up to only allow you that 150px of height in your signature (including text) so if you go over the height limit your signature will be cropped by the website.

When I make signatures they're usually 700x150. The one I'm currently using is 700x130 because I needed to make room for the hyperlinks.

It really is personal prefference after all.

I use 750 x 150 for all the signatures I make because I like them filling out the entire space.

Keep in mind most of them have a transparent background, so they don't end up looking too bulky if I use that size.
