So I've been playing with the idea of doing DayZ related art, and I'm generally a really impatient person when it comes to drawing, but I've managed to do a few drawings that I'm gonna try and finish and do more of. Each piece of DayZ related art will probably have a different style from a different game (so far I've done Firewatch-style art for dayz, and DayZ concept art style for dayZ). 

If you got requests for anything in any of the art styles I put up, be sure to post em and I may or may not get around to them (no promises, sorry). 

First up: Firewatch-styled art piece, I kinda was going for something like mountains up north, but I may add a big radio tower to make it like a green mountain art piece:

It's not really that DayZ themed but I don't feel it's finished anyway, so soonTM.

I decided to use the actual DayZ Concept Art style shown here and here

But as you can see with the two concept art pieces I linked, they use black outlining and basic texturing to create rough mock ups of what they want to do - I tried to do the same with my outlining, although I intend to go to more detail with the art.

Gonna be posting more stuff whenever I can. Some stuff might be non-DayZ related if that's something I could do, if that's considered off-topic then just move me there if I ever post other types of art things.

Yeah I use a Wacom tablet + Photoshop CS6

My inspiration sort of. I talked to the guy a bit ago about firewatch's art style after he'd done that picture so I took a stab at it too. 

His use of lighting is much more detailed than mine, but I'm pretty sure he used the same tools.
