How to play and brief rules description

*Event will take place in server 3

*Kill or get killed

*Last man/woman standing wins

*The Event will be held on the 12 of March 2016 @ 21:00h

*You will be in a group of 3 in a designated town chosen by you

*Yourself and others will be fighting each other till the death with anything you choose.

*You cannot team with other teams. To keep it fair you must only stay in your Group of 3.

*At the start of the event everyone will meet at the town centre at 21:00h server time where the event manager (not sure who yet) will announce all the rules and start the event.

*There will be a 7 minute grace period (no killing) to hide from each other. You will know when the grace period is over via a admin message.

Tips

*Have medical supplies for you and your team.

*You should have a weapon and plenty of ammo as you don't know how long you going to last.

*Choose your team wisely. You need team members you can rely on to keep you and themselves safe. 

*When the event starts make sure you don't follow others not in your team. Make sure that your not being followed. 

*Don't loot bodies as they will be a high target (unless it´s about life or death and you maybe need their supplies) 

*Try and be healthy IC during the start of the event. 

*Have your lucky socks on you'll need the luck ☺ 

 

Anything that happens in the event cannot be used lorewise or for your own Backstory

It is a FUN-EVENT

(you cannot use any information from this event in RP) 

- This event isn't RP based and purely just for fun and teamwork.

- Once you got killed ingame you need to leave the Server right away.

- Staff will be watching kill logs and they will kick everyone who does not leave the Server.

- You must be in a group of 3 - no more no less!

- When you have a team post your team below with your forum name and IG name.

(I will update the tread when you team is confirmed)

- You can choose a Team-name. It can be a funny name but you need to have the Community rules in mind as they do apply here aswell. Any Team names which will be deemed as breaking this rule will not be accepted.

- Stay in and around the designated town chosen by the community to maximise encounters (A map of the area will be posted when the town is selected on the 27.02.16

Last man/woman standing wins the event and the 

WINNER will be presented with a forum title. 

There can only be ONE winner. 

That means if your team are the last survivors then you must turn on each other.

This Event is a first come, first serve - Event. 

That means: Get your team registered ASAP!

Any rule breaks (such as abusing the server to gather some dank loot, not following the event rules, etc.) may result in a blacklist from future events, as well as in game punishments.

This seems cool, however, personally I think it would be more fun if you started with nothing or at the very least just clothes. I like the Survivor Gamez format for DayZ because everyone starts as a fresh spawn, and it comes down more to luck of finding a weapon. If you just start it off with already acquired gear I feel like it would go by very fast. It's fun to watch people fight with limited resources, and it coming down to a few bullets, and melee.

Will keep an eye open for it at least but not sure if anyone will if they're worried someone will use it to cheat in the event.

I think that only works with Valve games. Unless you mean Steam Broadcasting, which is like Twitch.

Curious as to this. Why not add a bit more variety to the enviornments? For example instead of just cities, also add much more sprawling areas. For example The Black Forest, etc.
