[Open Frequency] Mysterious Disappearances

Michael sits down on against an old tree, takes his radio out of his pack and switches it on.

"I've heard a load of rumours going around about the disappearances near Vavilovo,"

He pauses, thinks of his words carefully before continuing;

"I'm at the town now, and I can't find anything suspicious, but there is still a large industrial area to the South West I've still got to look at. If anyone has any information, tell me, or better yet, try and uncover this mystery yourself, Mike Wong, out".

*Fred puts the steak he's been chewing on aside, and picks up the radio*

 

"Look man, I haven't heard anything about those disappearances, but then again I've barely talked to anyone in a while. However, I wouldn't think that heading to a place where you hear that disappearances occur is a smart thing.

*Fred sighs*

"...but now you got me interested, and life has been predictable. Tell me where this Vavi-whatever town is at, or how I can find it on a map, and I'll go there and check it out myself. In the mean time, take care.

Fred Bones out".

*Fred puts the radio aside, waiting for a reply while munching on the steak*

"Look man, I haven't heard anything about those disappearances, but then again I've barely talked to anyone in a while. However, I wouldn't think that heading to a place where you hear that disappearances occur is a smart thing.

"...but now you got me interested, and life has been predictable. Tell me where this Vavi-whatever town is at, or how I can find it on a map, and I'll go there and check it out myself. In the mean time, take care.

Mike puts down his binoculars for a moment and holds the radio to his mouth.

"Great to hear that someone's willing to help out, Vavilovo, the town, is due West of the North West Military Airbase; it's quite secluded and hard to find, but in my opinion that makes it all the more suspicious. Good luck with your findings, Mike Wong, out"

Michal puts the radio aside, and continues his watch over the silent town.

Mike puts down his binoculars for a moment and holds the radio to his mouth.

"Great to hear that someone's willing to help out, Vavilovo, the town, is due West of the North West Military Airbase; it's quite secluded and hard to find, but in my opinion that makes it all the more suspicious. Good luck with your findings, Mike Wong, out"

Michal puts the radio aside, and continues his watch over the silent town.

*Fred laughs to himself for a second, then starts transmission*

"Shit man I was at that airbase a few days ago! Damn long walk from here, but its not like I have anything better to do with my life. I should be there in...three days, two if everything goes smoothly. I think I found it on the map but just in case, can you recognize any major landmarks that stand out? Any churches or large structures? Maybe a lake or river?

*Fred looks at the map again and chuckles*

"This place is in the middle of goddamn nowhere...Should be damn fun. See ya there, Mikey!

Bones out!"

*Fred packs up his stuff, and starts to prepare for the long journey ahead*

Enzo hears the two men talking on the radio and decides to chime in...

"Signore, I walk through there the other night, I think. Was very quiet, no one around, ma, who know."

"E if I remember right, it has a big bus terminal e repair yard near there, e is on the other side of Lapotino, which on other side of Vybor.... I dunno, walk through part of, but then I cut through the forest e head back east, so maybe I miss somting..."

Enzo trails off and releases the push to talk button.

"As far as obvious landmarks go, I can only see a large, yellow construction crane to the South East of the town and some railway tracks to the North, I'm not sure what else I can say. Hopefully we can meet up and figure out this whole thing together, Mike Wong, out"

*Fred puts the radio back on top of his bag and picks up the pace again*

*John pulls out his radio and turns it on*

"I've also heard of these rumours about these disappearances. I'm already near to the town, so I can come and help if you need it. We need to find out about these disappearances.

*John puts his radio back into his bag and starts moving towards the town*

Jarosław hearing the chatter on radio and listening on it now decides its to chime in

"So there has been disappearances in Vavilovo?, Im by northwest myself Im going to make my way there, I hope that my farm is still there I'll be coming it shouldn't take to long if I remember correctly but its been awhile since I've been there, any of you need anything while im still near northwest?"

*Jarosław takes his finger off the radio ending the transmission*

Michael, watching the valley for any movement, picks up his radio and turns it on.

"Great to hear that so many people want to find out the truth! I'm doing some recon around the town and I'll let you know if I find anything important".

*Sounds of a notebook rustling in the background*

"It seems that the disappearances are not just in Vavilovo; the train yard to the South East and another town to the North, Sinistok, are also suspicious. To everyone helping uncover the truth; good luck and be careful".

*Fred, moving through the dense woods, reaches for the radio and starts transmission*

"Well holy shit. Looks like we've got a whole damn platoon going NW. Y'all take care up there. We still dont know who...or what is behind the disappearances. I'll stop by the train yard you mentioned first, as it's closer to me. Stay vigilant boys..."

*Fred ends the transmission*
