MY BAN APPEAL

There's no link I can post, as I got banned on the spot with no warning. I didn't get any messages after the ban hammer spoke, except ''Your forum account is currently banned. Ban Reason: Shared his backstory for whitelist with his friend 

Ban will be lifted: Never''

Why the verdict is not fair:

The verdict is not fair, as I am in no close relation to the individual that I shared my backstory with. I also clearly stated to him/her that they must heavily modifiy the overall story and the way it was written. My backstory was only suppose to be an inspiring piece, meaning It was only suppose to give them an idea, NOT a finished product.

Additional statements/comments explaining your point of view:

I would also like to mention that the individual that I shared my backstory with, NEVER even showed and/or read the backstory to me, so I was unable to stop it from being published, therefore I had no idea that the ban was coming.

What would you like to achieve with this appeal:

The main thing I would like to achive is getting back into the RP-ing community. I really loved playing on the DayZRP servers, it was my favourite thing to do, when I wasn't in school or out with my friends, It made me enjoy DayZ again, and if I'm honest, I haven't been enjoying vanilla DayZ at all. I realize that ''Kissing your arse'' is NOT helping me get in, but if it is, God (Rolle) bless ya!

What could you have done better?:

The main thing that I could have done better is NOT giving any whitelist application info to any people I know (or not).

I could have also though thing through instead of just giving the info to people that I shouldn't trust.

Hello Dookie,

The purpose of the whitelist system is to -to the greatest of out ability- filter the members of our community who play on the servers. People who play by the rules, people who roleplay. The backstory section no less of an important part of this system. Enabling the reviewing Admin to get an understanding of your character and to make sure it fits the Lore and is suitable for our servers and community.

If your friend is willing to skirt around this step, then he is clearly not the sort of person who is suitable to be a part of this community.

If you are willing to assist your friend in skirting around this step then we do not want you here either.

I was unable to stop it from being published

You were perfectly able to stop it from being published. Done simply by not sharing it in the first place.

If your friend needed help then he should have sought help from a member of our team. Their job is (among many other things) to help community members, assist with troubleshooting issues and answering questions, welcoming new members including helping them with their whitelist.

With the above information stated, we will be denying this appeal.
