Hey everyone, my name is Bran. I just got done registering for the forums and I'm excited to start meeting people. My buddies and I have played DayZ off and on since its standalone inception, but I am really starting to enjoy myself in it. I'm an avid ArmA gamer and have over 1,000 hours logged in ArmA 3 (not life servers; king of the hill, invade and annex, and a custom modpack server my friends and I run), and plenty of time in Epoch and Overpoch mods for ArmA 2, so I know enough of the how-to's to play with the big dogs... but the grind of gear-kill-die-repeat gets dull. I want some more depth to this game, and I think this community is the right place for that. That's all for now, thanks for stopping by!

Good to hear, haha! If you have any questions, feel free to join the TS and ask help from the staff members up in the "Helpdesk". As the name suggests, it's where community members can get additional help on any questions they may have!

Oh, and also make sure you are well versed in the lore as well, as there will be questions about that and your backstory will have to fit within it!

Thank you for the lore link! I just started reading the white list section in the newbie guide... no worries about the length! Anything helps! I am currently in my community's team speak but most of our guys are offline so I'll swing by and bookmark yours.

ALSO no worries about me trying to recruit or anything like that. I am genuinely here to game on DayZ as a member of this community... separate from mine... and if any of my folks become interested I'll send them here first.
