Suggestion for a event on server 3

Hi all 

I know this is a rp community but i think it would be a good bit of fun for an event to take place in one town for example electro and it would be like hunger games! where you could team up ect and last man standing wins! simple rules where if you die you leave the server and guns and gear would already be acquired before hand ect just and idea i think it would be alot of fun 30-50 ppl in electro hiding in building making friends to kill the others? 

Let me know what you think.

other rules would be set on the server like a password change so they know its a kos in electro ect

Yeah pretty much could add more rules like only teams of 2 or 3 make it more interesting

I don't know, it could work. I think if we did have this it should be an event set the day before an update just so that no one loses their RP gear i.e. clothing, medical supplies, ect.

i see your point however is player wish to keep there gear they use to rp they could store in a safe place or with someone who is not taking part. but most gear is not hard to reacquire.

Sounds like a great idea..But people would be worried about their gear...But Elecro...might not be the best idea..Lag fest and people dying due to lag. But i say with 15-20 people max as there are problem with voip and connection issues with so many people in on place

Yeah eletro was just suggestion we could do a less built up town

I do think we have Server 3 to have all kinds of events. I would suggest you plan it out and PM a Admin with it - We can look over and see if it can work out with the limited tools we have.

We had something like that back in the Mod days - However we also had a lot of tools to the time which was needed.

Not really my thing --mostly because I'll die pretty much the moment I step off of the shore because I suck at PvP. 

However! I know that a lot of people would be interested in this kind of thing. For the "event server" that we had a few months back, I know that it was available for the owner of the event to create their own rules, essentially. They could tweak upon the existing in-game rules as long as the community rules were still followed. 

If we keep that mentality and use S3 as an event server sometimes, I don't see why we couldn't have this kind of event a couple of times! Sounds like a fun way for people to blow off some steam but still enjoy the benefits of a private server.

Nah, we had this some months ago but some people teamed up what made it unfair for the others and ruined the event. Unless you set up rules I don't think it will go better this time.

Yer, I totally disagree with any idea that promotes any kind of PvP within a RP community. So nah, -1 to me. Plenty of PvP communitys who hold regular events. Lets stick to the dank RP here please.

yep, public. But it would be more fun of course because it'd be a little less messy with freshspawns hitting you with stray tools.

Rules could be set in place for a limit on teams and as it only community members in the server they will be aware of the rules therefore you won't see groups of 5+ killing everyone.

The soul purpose of the idea was for a couple of hours to have fun with everyone in the community using the full pvp aspect of the game and to have little fun , I know this a rp community and some people don't like pvp as much as others however we now have a dedicated third server for this type of thing

I'd honestly prefer actual RP and lore events before this, PVP thirst can be easily quenched by joining a public server like Terra said.
