scentlessend
If there was a group that split up say 2 of them are at gm and the rest are in the 500m radius of gm and i initiate on those at GM, do i need to initiate on the others as well once i see them or could i shoot them? (If im over 9000% sure that they are in the same group) Link to comment
Sapphire Vapor Posted February 14, 2016 Sapphire Share Posted February 14, 2016 Those people may be within the 500m range from when you initiated, but since they are that far, they didn't hear your initiation. So, you have to initiate on them as well. If those people heard your initiation, but didn't do as you said, then you can shoot them. You may also negotiate if you come into a situation where you are trapped and they won't leave. You may only shoot people that react to your initiation with hostile intent. Link to comment

MVP Luca Posted February 14, 2016 MVP Share Posted February 14, 2016 As metal said you have to always make sure people can hear your initiation, that's why most people drop a text initiation at the same time so people that aren't in the voice radius will see it too! Link to comment
Sapphire Chinchilla Posted February 14, 2016 Sapphire Share Posted February 14, 2016 Pretty much what Metal said (thanks Metal!) If you see a group (lets say 10) hanging out at GM, and 5 wander off, you follow them a bit, they stop within 500 and continue their RP, you run back up the mountain and initiate on the 5 left behind. If the 5 that left are not in range for your initiation then you did not initiate on them. However, the 5 inside probably will contact the other 5 pretty fast and they'll be up there giving you a hard time. If they were in 500 they're probably not going to ask you to surrender either. It's a tough spot, but until the other 5 engage you, you would either have to initiate on them too, or wait for them to take shots. Sounds like a fun situation! Going to solve this, feel free to ask any more questions /solved Link to comment
