Why isn't their still a arma 2 server?

Wouldn't Arma 2 be really good for people who want to rp more because their are trader zones, bases etc. Or is the new arma 3 exile server gonna make up for that?

The mod has been revived something like 3 times now, people lose interest in it in a week.

DayZRP used to be based on the Arma 2 mod, but was redirected to the Standalone version when it released.

Since then, many people wanted the mod back. It was brought back a couple of times since and every time the server population was too low for it to be wise to keep up. So, the mod will not ever be coming back to DayZRP.

However, we are working on an Arma 3 Exile server at the moment! So all those things you loved about Arma 2 can be found there. It's currently still a bit of a work in progress, but the development team are doing an amazing job and I'm sure it'll be ready sooner and opposed to later.

I hope this answers your question!

Yeah, like everyone else said, there was an ArmA II Mod server, but then SA came out. Mod was brought back a few times but nobody really played so for now SA is the main thing. Exile is coming soon.

Hey there Mike!

I'm happy to see your interest in mods. As it has been mentioned, the Arma 2 mod died a while ago. The new Arma 3 Exile mod is in development at the moment, but is open to beta testing for supporters. This is indeed an attempt to move on from the old mod and into a new, more glorious, mod.

I'm going to mark this question as /solved, as always, and leave the thread open for discussion.
