Community Page - Website Open Channel!

Hello everyone,

Now I really don't know what these things are called, so I will stick with an "open chat channel" for now.

It's a chat box which could preferably be found on top of the forums page and it's purpose is just some chat box for anyone logged on with a fully made account on the forums. Or they must be whitelisted. Admin's choice.

It's just a thing I saw on an old RP server website I was on and I figured it would be cool to see it again.

Uses:

• Immediate Chatter - Be it someone asking for advice, friends and their get-along-chit-chat, a harty-hello (such as "good morning" etc).
  
• Easy Access - Rather than searching for the right forum page and the right thread on a topic, you can attempt to make either a brief or a long discussion on a topic without having to refresh the page to discover a response.
  
• Profile Links - The usernames you will see posting on the chat box can be clicked on to head straight to their profile.

However, i know some rp communeties that got it working so who knows?

He removed it, because he said that the site runs faster without it.

Well... back in the good ol' mod days we used to have a shoutbox. Never really found out why it was removed.

But yeah, would be nice to have a shoutbox again.

Rolle's last response on the shoutbox, as well as other things that were removed several months back.

They might not come back any time soon, depends. After the stats plugin has been removed the pages are generated 5x faster, so...

Yeah, the banter box wasn't used for what it was supposed to be used for, so it won't be coming back. But, there's always the Steam group chat.
